"fi": "<p>Musiikin tohtori <strong>Samuli Korkalainen</strong> esittelee Yhdysvaltain ja Kanadan suomalaisten siirtolaisten hengellistä musiikkia.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>1900-luvun taitteessa monia suomalaisia muutti paremman elämän toivossa Pohjois-Amerikkaan. Siellä he perustivat seurakuntia ja kirkkoja, joille muodostui suomalaiseen virsilauluun pohjautuva, mutta omaperäinen soiva perinne.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Luento- ja yhteislaulutilaisuus on osa Etelä-Pohjanmaan Kulttuurirahaston rahoittamaa ja Taideyliopiston Sibelius-Akatemian Seinäjoen yksikössä toteutettavaa hanketta, jonka otsikko on ”Haavemaa – Soiva siirtolaisuus 1800-luvulta tähän päivään”.</p>\n",

"fi": "<p>Lapuan hiippakunnan piispa <strong>Matti Salomäki</strong> ja Kuntoliikuntaseura Katupojat ry kutsuvat mukaan virsilenkille!</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tapahtuma alkaa Seinäjoen Keskustorilta, jossa Seinäjoen seurakunnan kirkkoherra <strong>Ari Auranen</strong> lähettää lenkkeilijät matkaan. Torilla lauletaan virsi ja sieltä lähdetään matkaan kävellen. Kävelylenkin pituus on noin 2,7 kilometriä. Lenkin varrella pysähdytään laulamaan virsiä Kampusrannan katsomossa. Kävelijät palaavat tästä Kalevankatua takaisin, mutta juoksijat jatkavat vielä matkaa jokirantaa pitkin. Kokonaislenkin pituus noin 6 km.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kuntoliikuntaseura Katupojat ry haastaa muita alueen lenkkiporukoita mukaan lenkille!</p>\n",

Koskettavan tarinan tulkitsevat säveltäjän johdolla peltomiehen roolin laulava baritoni <strong>Elja Puukko</strong> Seinäjoen kaupunginorkesterin jousikvartetin sekä Tuulivoima-kuoron säestyksellä. Teoksen kesto on noin tunti.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Käsiohjelmia saa ostaa 20 euron hintaan ennakkoon tapahtuman infopisteeltä sekä ovelta ennen konsertin alkua.</strong></p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Jorma Panulan säveltämässä ja Pekka Santalan kirjoittamassa teoksessa peltomies kohtaa kirkon hiljaisuudessa mieltään painaneen muiston, jossa isoisänsä isä ajoi oveltaan pois kolme nälkäistä ja rääsyistä huutolaispoikaa antamatta heille ruokaa. Peltomies pääsee sovintoon itsensä ja menneisyytensä kanssa ja hänelle selviää oman työnsä merkitys kyntää, kylvää, niittää ja korjata. Uudistunein mielin hän puhkeaa ylistysvirteen, johon kirkkokansa yhtyy. Tärkeä viesti oikeudenmukaisuudesta on ajankohtainen yhä 37 vuoden jälkeen.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Teoksen tarina sai alkunsa Ilmajoen vanhalta hautausmaalta, jonka hautakivet muistuttavat 1800-luvun tuhoisista nälkävuosista. “Löydettiin aihe, semmoinen pieni hautuumaa, johon on haudattu kakaroita 1800-luvulla”, teoksen johtava säveltäjä-maestro Jorma Panula kertoo. ”Lukoo sen libreton, kuvitteloo asian, siinä on niin paljon tunnelmaa ja asiaa, jotta siitä vaan visertämähän”, Panula kuvaa sävellysprosessia omaan panulamaisen tyhjentävään tyyliinsä.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Teos kantaesitettiin Kurikan kirkossa vuonna 1984 ja sitä on sittemmin esitetty myös ulkomailla ja ympäri kotimaata.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Seinäjoen kaupunginorkesteri</p>\n<p>Jorma Panula, kapellimestari<br>Elja Puukko, baritoni<br>TUULIVOIMA-kuoro, johtaa <strong>Kirsi Burman</strong></p>\n",
