Tarina alkaa Kustaa Vaasan ajoilta ja nuijasodan melskeistä, kertoo Rautalammin Marttisen suvusta, joka siirtyi Värmlannin suomalaismetsiin ja sieltä ensimmäisten suomalaisten mukana Amerikkaan Delaware-siirtokuntaan. Suvun jäsen John Morton antoi ratkaisevan äänen Yhdysvaltain itsenäisyysäänestyksessä 1776.\r\n\r\nKäsikirjoitus Terho Arrenius, ohjaus Riitta Wulff-Mäkelä, musiikki Pär Colérus, näytelmässä myös seuraavaa musiikkia: John Dowlandin Come Again, Suvivirsi vanhoilla sanoilla, Nuku nuku nurmilintu ja Vanha virsi Taalainmaan karjamajoilta sekä Värmlandsvisan. "fi": "Alavuden Ilmailukerho järjestää laskuvarjohypyn alkeiskursseja kerran kuukaudessa huhtikuusta syyskuuhun.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"display: inline !important;\">Koulutuspaikkana toimii Alavuden lentokenttä, Savikonkydöntie 129. </span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"display: inline !important;\">Kurssin ensimmäiset 2 päivää (ke ja to klo 17.30-21.00) ovat teoriapainotteisia, kolmas päivä (pe klo 17.30-21.00) tehdään käytännön harjoituksia. Lauantaina pistetään laskuvarjo selkään, istutaan koneeseen ja lähdetään hyppäämään! Sunnuntai on kurssin varapäivä, jos lauantain säät eivät ole suosiollisia hyppäämiselle. Kesäkuun kurssin teoriat pidetään Rengonharjun lentokentällä Etelä-Pohjanmaan Ilmailukerhon tiloissa, itse hypyt tapahtuvat Alavudella.</span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"display: inline !important;\"> Kurssilla opit kaiken mitä onnistunut laskuvarjohyppy pitää sisällään.
