Näyttelyssä mukana olevat kuusi taiteilijaa ovat toimineet aiemmin kesäkuvataiteilijoina vuosina 2018-23. Flashback-näyttelyssä heiltä nähdään uutta tuotantoa, joka tarkastelee menneitä kesäkuvataiteilija-aikoja, mutta erityisesti suuntaa katseen kohti tulevaa. Esillä on monipuolisesti erilaisia taiteenlajeja valokuvasta veistotaiteeseen.</p>\n<h4>Olivia Viitakangas</h4>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/oliviaviitakangas/\">Olivia Viitakangas </a>(s. 1999) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2022. Flashback -näyttelyyn Viitakangas kutsui työparikseen äänisuunnittelija ja muusikko Rafael Denisovin (s. 2001), joka tekee tällä hetkellä tietokonesävellyksiä ja opiskelee Teatterikorkeakoulussa äänisuunnittelun koulutusohjelmassa.</p>\n<p>Olivia lähestyy paikassa sijaitsevaa ja aistivaa kehoa installaatiomuotoisen työskentelyn kautta. Viitakangasta kiinnostaa taiteen esittäminen erilaisissa elinympäristön paikoissa. Hän käyttää teoksissaan esineitä ja materiaaleja, jotka valikoituvat suhteessa paikan kontekstiin, aistittaviin ominaisuuksiin ja materiaalisiin rakenteisiin. Tällä hetkellä Viitakangas opiskelee Taideyliopiston Kuvataideakatemiassa kuvanveiston osastolla.</p>\n<h4>Saapumisohjeet</h4>\n<p>Seinäjoen keskustori sijaitsee osoitteessa Kalevankatu 7, 60100 Seinäjoki. The six artists featured in the exhibition have previously served as Summer Artists from 2018 to 2023. The Flashback exhibition showcases their new work, which reflects on their past years as Summer Artists but, above all, looks toward the future. A diverse range of art forms is on display, from photography to sculpture.</p>\n<h4>Olivia Viitakangas</h4>\n<p>Olivia Viitakangas (b. 1999) was the Seinäjoki Summer Artist in 2022. For the Flashback exhibition, Viitakangas invited sound designer and musician Rafael Denisov (b. 2001) to collaborate with her; Denisov currently creates computer-generated music and is studying in the sound design program at the Theater Academy.</p>\n<p>Olivia approaches the site-specific and sensory body through installation-based practice. Viitakangas is interested in presenting art in various locations within the living environment. In her works, she uses objects and materials selected in relation to the context of the site, its sensory qualities, and material structures. Viitakangas is currently studying in the Sculpture Department at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki.</p>\n<h4>Instructions for arrival</h4>\n<p>Seinäjoki Central Square is located at Kalevankatu 7, 60100 Seinäjoki. The entrance lobby of the Seipark parking garage is located on Central Square next to the landmark, Risto Pentikäinen’s Horsma sculpture. The lobby can be accessed on foot from ground level as well as from the underground parking garage.</p>\n"

Hän on seinäjokinen kuvataiteilija ja taiteilija-asiantuntija. Hän työskentelee keraamisen kuvanveiston, maalaamisen, piirtämisen ja performanssitaiteen parissa. Luxin taiteen tekemistä ohjaa halu tutkia todellisuutta. Metafyysiset ja esoteeriset kysymykset ovat hänen teoksiensa lähtökohtia. She is a visual artist working with video, participatory art and drawing. Gröndahl is interested in repetition, duration and encounters between the inner and outer worlds. Gröndahl’s works have been exhibited in Helsinki, Turku, Seinäjoki, Gothenburg and other art galleries, as well as at numerous film festivals around the world. Gröndahl holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Valand Academy, University of Gothenburg in 2018.</p>\n<h4>Aeon Lux</h4>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/aeonluxus/\">Aeon Lux</a> (b. 1993) was the Summer Artist in 2019. She is a Seinäjoki-based visual artist. She works with ceramic sculpture, painting, drawing and performance art. Lux’s art is driven by her desire to explore reality. Metaphysical and esoteric questions are often the starting points of her work. Aeon Lux graduated as a visual artist from Kankaanpää Art School in 2017.</p>\n"

"fi": "<p>Vuoden 2025 UMK:ssa hurmannut Nelli Matula lähtee keväällä kiertueelle ja saapuu Seinäjoen Rytmikorjaamolle 25. huhtikuuta. Kiertueella tullaan kuulemaan niin Matulan uran suurimpia hittejä, kuin 2026 julkaistavaa uutta musiikkia.</p>\n<p>Kokonaisvaltaisen show-kokemuksen tarjoaminen näkyy vahvasti Nelli Matulan keikoilla. Vaikuttavien laulu- ja esiintymistaitojensa lisäksi Nelli tuo keikoilleen mukaan myös paljon tanssia ja muita näyttäviä show-elementtejä.</p>\n<p>Vuosi 2025 on ollut Nelli Matulan osalta vauhdikas UMK:n myötä. Kilpailun seurauksena valtavaksi hitiksi noussut Hitaammin hautaan -kappale kipusi nopeasti soitetuimmaksi radiokappaleeksi Suomessa. Keväällä Hitaammin hautaan oli radioykkönen yli kaksi kuukautta putkeen. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.</p>\n<p>Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. Lähin yleinen pysäköintialue sijaitsee Maakunnankadulla noin 700 metrin päässä rakennuksesta. Keikkojen tuotantoon on tuttuun tapaan panostettu, tarjoten yleisölle vaikuttavan ja hiotun kokonaisuuden. Keikoilla ei voi välttyä artistin ja bändin hallitun kaaoksen tuomasta mukaansatempaavasta energiasta.</p>\n<p>Kehutun livensä avulla uraansa kasvattaneen Jaakko Kullan keikkoja on ylistetty mediassa kriitikoidenkin toimesta. Artistin vuosi alkoi muun muassa loppuunmyydyllä Tavastian keikalla, ja sitä seurasi tiivis keikkatahti, joka piti sisällään muun muassa uransa ensimmäisen Allas Liven keikan.</p>\n<p>Nousukiitoa nauttiva artisti tunnetaan Top 50 -listahiteistään kuten Huone (feat. "fi": "<p>Asla Jo</p>\n<p>Suomalaisen indiemusiikkikentän kiinnostavimpiin nimiin lukeutuva Asla Jo julkaisee alkuvuodesta 2026 debyyttialbuminsa Papin tytär. Tulevaa pitkäsoittoa artisti luonnehtii kipeäksi oodiksi yksinäisyydelle sekä autofiktiiviseksi kasvutarinaksi. Albumin tuorein singlejulkaisu Fantasia (ft. Kah Pao) julkaistiin marraskuussa 2025.</p>\n<p>Nopeasti omistautuneen fanipohjan ja vahvaa suitsutusta musiikkimedioilta kerännyt Asla Jo kirjoittaa suomikaihopoppia suruista, tyttörakkaudesta, yksinäisyydestä ja aikuistumisesta. Kaiku Entertainmentille kiinnitetty taidokas laulaja-lauluntekijä leikittelee musiikissaan suomalaisen sielunmaiseman tulkinnoilla ja omakohtaisilla kokemuksilla.</p>\n<p>Pohjanmaalta kotoisin oleva artisti julkaisi debyytti-EP:nsä Kaikki alko siitä mihin me loputtiin syksyllä 2024. Asla Jon keväällä 2025 julkaistu Pussailen tyttöjen kaa –single nousi suureen suosioon TikTokissa keräten kiitosta rehellisestä ja herkästä lyriikastaan ja queer-nuoruuden kipupisteiden nostamisesta valokeilaan. Artisti on niittänyt mainetta myös poikkeuksellisen läsnäolevana live-esiintyjänä. Kuluneen vuoden kesänä artisti otti haltuunsa niin Ruisrockin kuin loppuunmyydyn Helsingin Juhlaviikkojen Huvilateltan.</p>\n<p>Edicti</p>\n<p>Kotimaista alternativemusiikin kenttää valloittava Edicti julkaisi “Joku, jonka luo palata”- albuminsa 2024, joka sisältää mm. artistin läpimurtosinglen En sitä tarkoittanut. Yhdessä F:n kanssa julkaistu biisi nousi toissa kesänä ennätysvauhdilla Suomen kuunnelluimpien kappaleiden kärkeen.</p>\n<p>“Tää albumi on kokoelma kappaleita luottamuksesta, haavoittuvaisuudesta ja rakkaudesta = kanssaelosta” -Edicti</p>\n<p>Edictin musiikkia on kuvailtu hoivapopiksi, musiikiksi, joka pitää kuulijastaan huolta. Edicti valmistelee paraikaa albumia, jonka on määrä ilmestyä 2026.</p>\n<p>Hassan Maikal</p>\n<p>Ainutlaatuinen laulaja-lauluntekijä Hassan Maikal on koskettava ja rohkea tarinankertoja. Pop-, rap- ja afro-musiikin soundeja kiehtovalla tavalla yhdistelevä artisti julkaisi odotetun kakkosalbuminsa Ilmaista terapiaa syksyllä 2024. Sykähdyttävä konseptialbumi vie kuulijan matkalle rakkauden eri kerroksiin ja moniin ulottuvuuksiin.</p>\n<p>“Tää albumi sai inspiraation rakkaudesta ja siitä matkasta, jonka oon käynyt tässä muutaman vuoden aikana läpi. Voimakkaita tunteita, ensimmäisiä kosketuksia kokemuksiin ja oivalluksia elämästä, ennen kaikkea rakkaudesta. Albumille tallentui viime vuosien raa’an rehelliset kokemukseni niin perhe-, kuin ihmissuhteissa sekä henkilökohtaista kasvua ihmisenä.” Hassan Maikal kertoo albumistaan.</p>\n<p>Artistin vuonna 2021 julkaistu debyyttialbumi Betonitarha sai huikean vastaanoton musiikkialalta. Tunnustuksena rohkeudesta olla omaperäinen sekä luottaa tarinan voimaan, Albumi sai neljä Emma-ehdokkuutta ml. Vuoden albumi -ehdokkuuden.
