Seitsemästä albumista neljä on ylittänyt kulta- tai platinarajan, ja myöskin live-esiintymisten suosio oli ennennäkemätön. Kokoonpanon tunnetuimpiin kappaleisiin kuuluvat esimerkiksi Nyt on mies!, Surupuku, Lumessakahlaajat, Rajaton rakkaus, Kylmä tila, Hyvä ihminen ja Suomi sata vuotta. Myytyjä albumeja on yli 130 000 kappaletta. Vuonna 2002 yhtye palkittiin peräti neljällä Emma-palkinnolla (Vuoden pop/rock-albumi, Vuoden albumi, Vuoden biisi sekä Vuoden yhtye). Joulukuussa 2004 yhtye jäi määrittelemättömän pituiselle keikkatauolle, kunnes noin kaksi vuotta myöhemmin kertoi uransa päättyneen lopullisesti.</p>\n<p>Helmikuussa 2017 yhtyeen keulahahmo Timo Rautiainen kertoi Soundille seuraavanlaisesti: ”Olen tehnyt 2000-luvun puolivälin jälkeen vaikka mitä: soolo- ja bändilevyjä, kaikenlaisia keikkoja, tv-sarjoja ja kesäteatteria. Olen myös opiskellut Kaustisella kansanmusiikkia. Toisin sanoen olen saanut tehdä kaikkia niitä asioita, joista haaveilin Niskalaukauksen loppuaikoina. Sitten kun häärii yli kymmenen vuotta kaiken muun parissa, saattaa se menneisyyskin näyttäytyä vähän erilaisena. Tulin jossakin vaiheessa miettineeksi, että mitä hyötyä luupäisestä ehdottomuudesta lopulta on. Että olenko tyytyväinen itseeni jos korisen vielä kuolinvuoteellakin, että eipähän tultu takaisin. Miksi minä välittäisin kasvojen menettämisestä? Että olette oikeassa, toitotin silloin monessa lehdessä, että tätä bändiä ei enää nähdä missään. Nyt se kuitenkin nähdään ja minut saa ihan vapaasti ristiinnaulita.”</p>\n<p>Kokoonpano julkaisi paluusinglensä Pitkän kaavan mukaan helmikuussa 2017. Kesäkuussa ilmestyi toinen single-lohkaisu, Suomi sata vuotta. Kummastakin kappaleesta julkaistiin myös video. Lokakuussa tuli vielä kolmas sinkku Isä ei jätä ja marraskuussa 2017 paluualbumi Lauluja Suomesta. Musiikin julkaisee Sakara Records. Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus palasi suurimmille festarilavoille kesällä 2018.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Yhtyeen kuudetta studioalbumia nimeltään Mahdoton yhtälö ei tarvinnut odottaa onneksi pitkään. Heti alkuvuodesta 2020 julkaistiin ensimmäinen single Kolme vuotta sitten ja albumi heti perään maaliskuussa. Bändin keikoille paluuta on jälleen ehditty odottaakin. Vuoden 2019 aikana Timo Rautiainen & Trio Niskalaukaus teki vain yhden 10 esiintymisen lyhyen kiertueen, ja senkin poikkeuksellisesti akustisesti. Palestiinassa vallinneen kaksi vuotisen Isrealin hallituksen kansanmurhan ja vuosikymmeniä kestäneen piirityksen puitteissa on aika kokoontua keskustelemaan, kuinka Seinäjoki, Suomi ja yksittäiset ihmiset voivat auttaa hädässä olevia kriisien keskellä saavutttaaksemme inhimillisemmän maailman. Ihmisoikeudet ja kansainvälinen oikeus ovat kuitenkin yhdessä ajettavia asioita!</p>\n<p>Toivotamme jokaisen, jonka mielestä kansainvälinen oikeus ja solidaarisuus ovat tärkeitä arvoja, tervetulleeksi tapahtumaan. Kokoonnumme kuulemaan, miten ihmiset ympäri maailmaa auttavat palentiinalaisia tavoittamaan humanitaarisia tarpeita piiritettyjen rajojen sisälle Freedom Flotilla veneillä. "fi": "<p>Luonnonmukaisen puron pohjan maakerroksiin eli sedimentteihin on vuosikymmenten kuluessa kulkeutunut ympäristöstä haitta-aineita, kuten PAH-yhdisteitä, öljyjä ja metalleja.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Puro kunnostetaan noin kilometrin matkalta, ja tästä kunnostettavasta osuudesta noin kolmannes siirretään uuteen uomaan. </p>\n<p> Hanke sai huhtikuussa 2024 aluehallintoviraston luvan kunnostustoimenpiteiden toteuttamiselle.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kasvillisuuden ja puuston poistotyöt aloitettiin lokakuussa 2024. Uoman kunnostusurakka käynnistyy aikaisintaan elokuussa 2025. Uoman puhdistustyöt tehdään pääosin talvisaikaan. "fi": "<p>Rakas joulu -konsertissa baritoni Aarne Pelkonen tulkitsee joululevyjensä suosituimpia kappaleita sekä muita rakastetuimpia joululauluja taidokkaan soitinyhteen siivittämänä. Illan aikana kohdataan suomalaisen joulun niin herkät ja riemullisetkin tunnelmat, kun Lakeuden Ristin upeassa akustiikassa kajahtaa Taivas sylissäni, Sydämeeni joulun teen, Oi jouluyö ja monet muut meille kauneimmat joululaulumme.</p>\n<p>Baritoni Aarne Pelkonen on Lappeenrannan laulukilpailun ja kansainvälisen Sibelius-laulukilpailun voittaja. Hän on lumonnut yleisönsä niin ooppera- kuin konserttilavoilla puhuttelevilla tulkinnoillaan. Aarnen ensimmäinen joululevy ”Taivas sylissäni” vuodelta 2018 on lunastanut paikkansa joulun levylautasilla ja vuonna 2023 yhdessä Turun filharmonisen orkesterin kanssa julkaistu ”Rakas joulu” sai kiittävän vastaanoton.
