Tunnelmallinen konsertti järjestetään kesäkuun alussa ja se antaa vahvan startin Seinäjoen tapahtumakesälle. Moderni Stadionin ympäristö luo musiikille ainutlaatuisen kehyksen, joka yhdessä artistien kanssa muodostaa kokemuksen, joka tuntuu lähes ajattomalta.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Esiintyjinä juuri UMK:ssakin kappaleella <em>Lululai</em> edustanut <strong>Komiat</strong>, joka on kivunnut nopeasti yhdeksi Suomen suosituimmista iskelmäkokoonpanoista. Lisäksi lavalla nähdään koko Suomen tuntema ja rakastama lauluntekijäkuningatar <strong>Maija Vilkkumaa</strong>, joka esiintyy nyt myös ensimmäistä kertaa tauon jälkeen Seinäjoella ja tuo mukanaan tuulahduksen uutta musiikkiaan. Illan tuoreinta energiaa edustaa turkulaislähtöinen Niilo, joka nousi valtakunnalliseen suosioon keväällä 2024. Niilon musiikissa hurmaa uuden ja vanhan sujuva yhdistely sekä vilpitön, tarttuva tulkinta.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tapahtuma on K18. Liput tapahtumaan tulevat myyntiin perjantaina 6.3.2026 klo 10.00 Ticketmasterin kanaviin sekä OmaSp Stadionilla sijaitsevaan SJK Shop:iin joka palvelee arkisin klo 10-16. "fi": "<p>Jamie Rannan teokset ovat luonto-aiheisia akryylimaalauksia eteläpohjalaisista maisemista.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Hän kuljeskelee paljon luonnossa tutkiskellen luonnon energioita ja luontoyhteyttään: “Pyrin kuvaamaan teoksissani enemmänkin tunnetta, tuoksuja, olemusta ja mielikuvaa kuin tiettyjä paikkoja”, hän kuvailee. Tuntemus muuttuu vahvoiksi väreiksi teoksissa, välillä esimerkiksi neonväreiksi. Ranta maalaa useita ohuita kerroksia joskus myös valutellen, riippuen näkymän luonteesta. Luonnon näkymien kerroksellisuus kiinnostaa taiteilijaa, samoin kuin jonkinlainen ajan kerroksellisuus.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Luonnossa on helppo aistia myös ajattomuus. Luonnossa kaikki on jatkuvassa muutoksessa, yksikään hetki ei ole samanlainen toista kertaa. Ranta leikittelee usein näkymien yksinkertaisuudella, sillä myös yksinkertainen hetki on hänestä moniulotteinen: “Vastaavasti minua kiinnostavat näkymät, jotka ovat täynnä tapahtumaa. Pyrkimykseni on kuvata täydellistä luonnonjärjestystä matkien sitä hieman abstrahoivalla maalaustyylilläni. Näissä näkymissä on helppo tuntea olevansa osa luontoa, osa täydellisyyttä.”</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Teos <em>Kevät (kuusen varjossa)</em> syntyi kevään valon inspiroimana. Katse on kohdistuneena ikkunaan, rakennukseen, joka symboloi ihmisyyttä. Valo heijastuu ikkunasta jolloin myös koko pihapiiri, ihmisen itselleen luoma tila luonnon keskellä, on läsnä teoksessa. Valo pilkottaa pilkkuina kuusen oksien lomasta täplittäen näkymän ja antaen muistutuksen uuden kevään heräämisestä. Talo on autio, jokin on loppunut, mutta aina samaan aikaan jokin myös alkaa. Alku ja loppu sisältyvät samaan hetkeen.</p>\n",

"en": "<p>Jamie Ranta’s works are nature-themed acrylic paintings depicting landscapes from South Ostrobothnia.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>She spends a great deal of time walking in nature, exploring its energies and her own connection to it: “In my works, I aim to portray more the feeling, scents, essence, and impressions rather than specific places,” she explains. These sensations transform into strong colors in her paintings—sometimes even neon hues. Ranta paints multiple thin layers, occasionally allowing the paint to drip, depending on the character of the view. She is fascinated by the layered nature of landscapes, as well as by a certain sense of temporal layering.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>In nature, it is also easy to sense timelessness. Everything in nature is in constant change; no single moment is ever the same twice. Ranta often plays with the simplicity of a scene, since even a simple moment is, to her, multidimensional: “Likewise, I am interested in views that are full of activity. My aim is to depict the perfect order of nature, imitating it through my slightly abstract painting style. In these scenes, it is easy to feel oneself as part of nature, part of perfection.”</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>The work <em>Spring (in the Shadow of the Spruce)</em> was inspired by the light of spring. The gaze is directed toward a window, a building that symbolizes humanity. Light reflects from the window, bringing the entire yard—the space created by humans within nature—into the presence of the work. Light glimmers in small spots through the branches of the spruce, speckling the view and offering a reminder of the awakening of a new spring. The house is abandoned; something has ended, yet at the same time something is always beginning. Beginning and end are contained within the same moment.</p>\n"

Taiteilija kertoo keskiformaatin värifilmille kuvattujen omakuviensa avulla oman tarinansa alter egon, eli Zoe-nimisen hahmon, kautta. </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Jokainen ihminen ottaa jossain vaiheessa elämäänsä vaikutteita muista ja matkii heitä jollain tavoin. Lapsina leikimme erilaisia hahmoja iltasaduista ja piirrossarjoista; teini-ikäisinä alamme pukeutua suosikkipop-tähtiemme kaltaisiksi; ja aikuisina saatamme samaistua televisiosta ja elokuvista tuttuihin, samaistuttaviin hahmoihin ja arkkityyppeihin.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tiettyyn pisteeseen asti tämä on normaalia. Apen huipputason jazz-muusikkous sekä yhdessä Paulan kanssa sävelletyt, mukaansatempaavat lastenlaulut takaavat musiikillisesti raikkaan elämyksen. Also, a job in a Finnish company can help them learn about Finland and its workplace culture, which will help them integrate into Finnish society more quickly.</p>\n<p><strong>Practical Training is more flexible than you think</strong></p>\n<p>Nowadays, there are many ways to offer practical training places:</p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tandem Internship</strong> – Two trainees working together (one Finn and one non-Finn)</li>\n<li><strong>Full-time internship</strong> – typically 5 months or 20 weeks</li>\n<li><strong>Part-time internship</strong> – typically 2.5 months or 10 weeks</li>\n<li><strong>Project-based internship</strong> – this could be shorter based on the needs of the project</li>\n<li><strong>Remote internship</strong> – you manage the student with regular steering meetings but they do their work at home or at school</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If you are concerned about the students’ Finnish language skills, try a <strong>Tandem Internship.</strong> When a Finn and a non-Finn work together, they can both demonstrate their abilities, learn new skills at work and the Finn can translate and help the non-Finn to improve their Finnish.</p>\n<p><h4><strong>Why should you attend E-P Practical Training Recruitment Fair?</strong></h4> <h5>Companies</h5></p>\n<ul>\n<li>We aim to have a large number of international students all in one place.</li>\n<li>You can meet them at your stand and pre-interview them.</li>\n<li>You can decide who to meet again, after the show, for a longer interview to make your final selection</li>\n</ul>\n<p><h5>Students</h5></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain experience of speaking with local employers and grow your network of contacts.</li>\n<li>We aim to have a large number of companies, who have committed to offering training places, all in one place.</li>\n<li>You can meet them at their stand and make a positive impression. Hopefully, after the show they will agree to a longer interview for their trainee positions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><h4><strong>What is your commitment for this event?</strong></h4></p>\n<p>It is <strong><em>FREE</em></strong> for companies to exhibit or for students to attend E-P Practical Training Recruitment Fair. In return, we ask that you make a few commitments to ensure the event is a success.</p>\n<p><h5>Companies</h5></p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least one internship/practical training place should be offered at the fair, although we hope you will have more than one!</li>\n<li>We want to <strong>advertise</strong> the number of intern places on offer to generate interest in the event. Tämän vuoden Öljykasviseminaari laitetaan käyntiin viljelijän puheenvuorolla, jossa pohditaan, miten onnistumisia saadaan useammin sekä syys- että kevätöljykasveilla. Seminaarin aikana kuulemme vastauksia tähän pohdintaan monelta näkökantilta!</p>\n<p>Yhtenä ratkaisuna esitellään erilaisten teknologioiden mahdollisuuksia eli miten esimerkiksi drooneja ja älykkäitä kameroita voidaan hyödyntää rypsin ja rapsin viljelyssä. Ja siinä missä tuholaiset ovat öljykasvituotannon suurimpia haasteita, ratkaisut niiden torjumiseksi voivat olla yllättävän yksinkertaisia: käymme läpi, millaisia uusia ovia hyönteisten käyttäytymisen parempi tunteminen avaa tuholaistorjuntaan. Tutustumme myös siihen, millainen rooli geenieditoinnilla on suomalaisen öljykasvituotannon tulevaisuudessa.
