"fi": "<p><strong>Tiina Laasosen</strong> yksityisnäyttely <em>Tunnen puun, joka kasvoi suureksi </em>esittelee seinäjokiselta kuvanveistäjältä uusia teoksia Seinäjoen taidehallin Hallissa. Näyttely käsittelee yhteisöllistä muistia, pientä puun elämän mittaista ajanjaksoa ajan pitkässä jatkumossa.</p>\n<p>Näyttelyn teokset on valmistettu puumateriaalista, joka on kerätty avoimella puunkeruukampanjalla paikallisten asukkaiden kotipihoilta Seinäjoelta, Lapualta ja Vaasasta. Keskeinen osa näyttelyä ovat taideteosten materiaaleihin liittyvät muistot ja tarinat, jotka taiteilija kirjoitti ylös puumateriaalia kerätessään. Tarinat ja muistot ovat näyttelyn teosten muotokielen ja aiheiden lähtökohtia.</p>\n<p>Taiteilija itse muistaa omenapuun, jonka istutti äitinsä kanssa voikukkapellosta raivattuun puutarhaan. Vuosia myöhemmin äiti antoi Laasoselle myrskyn katkaiseman omenapuunoksan toivoen, että siitä syntyisi taideteos. Lopulta se sai uuden elämän <em>Äidin omenapuunoksa</em> -teoksena, joka on esillä näyttelyssä.</p>\n<p>Laasonen käsittelee teoksissaan ja niiden tekotavassa puihin liittyvää tunnesidettä, niiden suhdetta muistoihin, henkilöhistoriaan ja identiteettiin.</p>\n<p>Laasosen työskentelyssä perinteinen käsityöläisyys ja puuntyöstötekniikat yhdistyvät nykykuvanveiston kanssa. Työskentelyprosessi on hidas, vaitonainen ja samaa työvaihetta toistava. Hallin rouhea ja betoninen arkkitehtuuri tarjoaa taustan eri puulajien sävyille, puun lämmölle ja pehmeydelle. Kookkaat teokset noudattelevat Laasoselle tuttua muotokieltä: puisia nauhoja, neuleita ja helmiä. Muodot symboloivat jatkuvuutta ja katkeamattomuutta sukupolvien ketjussa ja ajassa.</p>\n<p><strong>Tiina Laasonen</strong></p>\n<p>Tiina Laasonen (s. 1968 Kauhava) asuu ja työskentelee Seinäjoella. Laasonen valmistui vuonna 1993 Kankaanpään taidekoulusta kuvanveistäjäksi. Laasonen on toiminut myös ympäristötaiteilijana ja tehnyt useita julkisia teoksia. Hänen veistoksiaan ja tilataideteoksiaan on nähty lukuisissa galleria- ja museonäyttelyissä Suomessa ja ulkomailla, ja hänen teoksiaan on monissa museoissa ja julkisissa kokoelmissa. Tiina Laasoselle on myönnetty 2019 Sanomalehti Pohjalaisen <em>Vaasan Jaakkoo</em> -kulttuuripalkinto, 2017 <em>Pohjanmaan taidetoimikunnan taidepalkinto</em> ja 1997 <em>Nuori pohjalainen taiteilija</em> -palkinto.</p>\n<p>Taiteilijan työskentelyä on tukenut SKR Etelä-Pohjanmaan rahasto ja Taiteen edistämiskeskus.</p>\n<p>Kuva: Katariina Vestergård</p>\n",

"en": "<p><em>Know a Tree that Grew Up</em> is a solo exhibition by <a href=\"https://www.tiinalaasonen.fi/\"><strong>Tiina Laasone</strong></a><strong>n</strong> presenting new works by the Seinäjoki based sculptor. The exhibition deals with communal memory and observes a lifespan of a single tree in relation to the long continuum of time.</p>\n<p>The works in the exhibition are made from wood collected through an open call: Local people in Seinäjoki, Lapua and Vaasa donated material for the artworks directly from their gardens. While collecting the pieces of wood for the art works, the artist took notes on the stories and memories the donators had on the material. The stories and memories later became central to the exhibition: they serve as the subject of the artworks as well as the starting point for the formal language of the exhibition.</p>\n<p>The artist herself still remembers how she and her mother planted an apple tree in the garden cleared from the dandelion field. Years later, the mother gave Laasonen an apple tree branch cut by a storm, hoping that the brach could be turned into a work of art. In the end, the branch got a new life as <em>Mother’s apple tree branch</em>, an artwork on display in the exhibition.</p>\n<p>Through her art as well as the process of working, Laasonen reflects on the emotional bond associated with trees, the way they connect to our memories, personal histories and identities.</p>\n<p>Laasonen’s work combines traditional craftsmanship and woodworking techniques with contemporary sculpture. The working process is slow, silent and often repeating the same work phase. The large works follow the form that is familiar to Laasonen: they turn into wooden strips, knits and beads. The shapes symbolize continuity and unbrokenness in the chain of generations and time.</p>\n<p>The rough and concrete architecture of Seinäjoki Kunsthalle exhibition space provides a contrasting background for the varying tones of different types of wood, the warmth and tenderness of the material.</p>\n"

Ilmainen non-stop työpaja, jossa kävijät pääsevät kirjoittamaan puihin liittyviä muistoja ja kiinnittämään ne Muistojen puun oksille.</li>\n<li>Klo 17:30-18 Taiteilijahaastattelu: Tiina Laasonen, Hugo-sali, 2. krs. Seinäjoen taidehallin ts. taidekuraattori Laura Laukkanen haastattelee Tunnen puun, joka kasvoi suureksi -näyttelyn taiteilijaa Tiina Laasosta.</li>\n<li>Äärellä-bistro avoinna klo 16-21:30 Kalevan Navetan 1. kerroksessa.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Koko kesäpäivän ohjelman löydät <a href=\"https://www.kalevannavetta.fi/vieraile/muu-tapahtumat/muu-kesa/kesapaiva/\">täältä</a>.</p>\n<p>Taidehallin taidenäyttelyiden avajaiset ovat aina kaikille avoimia, maksuttomia ja kaikenikäisille sopivia tapahtumia. Avajaisia järjestetään pääasiassa Kalevan Navetan tapahtumapäivien yhteydessä, jolloin talo on täynnä myös muuta monipuolista kulttuuriohjelmaa. Avajaisissa järjestetään taiteilijoiden ja kuraattoreiden haastatteluja, avoimia työpajoja ja opastuksia, joiden avulla uudesta näyttelystä saa enemmän irti.</p>\n<p><strong>Saapuminen Kalevan Navettaan</strong></p>\n<p>Osoite: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.</p>\n<p>Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. Lähin yleinen pysäköintialue sijaitsee Maakunnankadulla noin 700 metrin päässä rakennuksesta. Vilkkaina tapahtumapäivinä suosittelemme käyttämään henkilöauton sijasta muita saapumisvaihtoehtoja tai pysäköimään auton tarvittaessa Maakunnankadun parkkialueelle.</p>\n",

Tervetuloa mukaan kuulemaan alueen ruokahistoriasta ja -trendeistä klimppien, mykyjen ja makaronien saattelemana sekä jakamaan omia muistoja ruoasta ja erityisesti pastaruokiin liittyvistä perinteistä.</p>\n<p>Tapahtuman yhteydessä taiteilija Hilla Hautanen kokoaa syötävän taideteoksen, jonka osallistujat pääsevät luento-osuuden päätteeksi nauttimaan.</p>\n<p>Tapahtuma on kaikille avoin ja maksuton.</p>\n<p>Tapahtuman järjestäjänä toimii Taideyliopiston Seinäjoen yksikkö ja rahoittajana Seinäjoen yliopistokeskus. "fi": "<p>Pekko Käppi & K:H:H:L on tamperelainen, Suomen folkrocktaivaan nykyhetken kuumin ja kovaäänisin nelikkö. Yhtye perustettiin jouhikkotaiteilijana ja laulaja-lauluntekijänä tunnetun Pekko Käpin Rammat jumalat levyn ilmestyttyä vuonna 2013. Sittemmin yhtye on tehnyt viisi levyä, saaneet moisista kiitosta sekä kiertäneet planeettaamme ristiin rastiin. Arvostettu englantilainen musiikkijulkaisu kuvaili yhtyettä lauseella: ”T. Rex of Finland”.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Pekko Käpin huhmareeseen on heitetty ilmavaa folk -ilmaisua, bluesin juurekkuutta ja psykedelisvivahteista rockia. Maljamaisessa astiassa hienonnettu lopputulos on ihastuttavaa ja omaleimaisen nerokkaalla tavalla helposti lähestyttävän populaarimusiikin muottiin istutettua kansanmusiikkia. "fi": "<h5><strong>VIIRU JA PESONEN</strong></h5>\n<p><strong>VIIRU KATEISSA</strong><br><strong>Lastenteatteria täynnä naurua, lämpöä ja ystävyyttä</strong></p>\n<p>Tervetuloa keskelle maaseudun rauhaa, missä ukko Pesonen elää hiljaista elämäänsä kanojen kanssa – kunnes kaikki muuttuu! Eräänä päivänä taloon tassuttelee pieni, eläväinen ja puhelias kissa nimeltä Viiru. Siitä alkaa seikkailu, joka täyttää arjen ilolla, yllätyksillä ja sydämellisellä hälinällä.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Mutta mitä tapahtuu, kun Viiru katoaa?</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Viiru kateissa</strong> on lämminhenkinen, hauska ja koskettava teatteriesitys kaikenikäisille katsojille. Se kertoo ystävyydestä, huolenpidosta ja siitä, kuinka tärkeää on pysähtyä ja olla läsnä – etenkin silloin, kun toinen on hukassa.</p>\n<p>Lavalla nähdään kekseliäitä lavastuksia, huumoria ja pieni ripaus taikaa, jotka saavat niin lapset kuin aikuisetkin nauramaan ja liikuttumaan. Tämä näytelmä herättää henkiin Sven Nordqvistin rakastetut hahmot ja tuo Viirun ja Pesosen ystävyyden lähelle katsojan sydäntä.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Tule etsimään Viirua kanssamme ja löydät samalla jotain tärkeää omasta sydämestäsi.</strong></p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Pesosen roolissa nähdään näyttelijä Rami Mäkilaine ja Viirun roolissa näyttelijä Jenna Varismäki. Näytelmän ohjaa Juulia Mäkilaine.
