Alvar Aallon suunnittelema kirkko valmistui huhtikuussa 1960.<br>Kirkkosalissa on 1 200 istumapaikkaa ja urkulehterillä 124 paikkaa.<br><br>Kirkon koillissivulla on kappeli kaste-, vihki- ym. toimituksia varten.<br><br>Lakeuden Ristin torniin pääsee vierailemaan kesäaikana. Hissi vie toiseksi ylimpään kerrokseen, mistä raput ylös. Sen on alun perin rakentanut Venäjän valtio Östermyran ruutitehtaan ruutimakasiiniksi vuonna 1827. Myöhemmin makasiini päätettiin muuttaa kirkoksi ja kirkon rakennustyöt tehtiin seurakunnan yhteisin ponnistuksin ja uhrauksin tehtaan isäntä G. A. Wasastjernan johdolla. "fi": "<p>Törnävän kirkko on avoinna kesä-heinäkuussa 2026 keskiviikkoisin klo 13–15. Tervetuloa tutustumaan!</p>\n<p>Törnävän kirkko on Seinäjoen seurakunnan ensimmäinen kirkko. Sen on alun perin rakentanut Venäjän valtio Östermyran ruutitehtaan ruutimakasiiniksi vuonna 1827. Myöhemmin makasiini päätettiin muuttaa kirkoksi ja kirkon rakennustyöt tehtiin seurakunnan yhteisin ponnistuksin ja uhrauksin tehtaan isäntä G. A. Wasastjernan johdolla. "fi": "<p>Törnävän kirkko on avoinna kesä-heinäkuussa 2026 keskiviikkoisin klo 13–15. Tervetuloa tutustumaan!</p>\n<p>Törnävän kirkko on Seinäjoen seurakunnan ensimmäinen kirkko. Sen on alun perin rakentanut Venäjän valtio Östermyran ruutitehtaan ruutimakasiiniksi vuonna 1827. Myöhemmin makasiini päätettiin muuttaa kirkoksi ja kirkon rakennustyöt tehtiin seurakunnan yhteisin ponnistuksin ja uhrauksin tehtaan isäntä G. A. Wasastjernan johdolla. Törnävän kirkko valmistui vuonna 1864 ja se vihittiin tarkoitukseensa saman vuoden elokuussa.<br><br>Kirkon esittely löytyy suomeksi, ruotsiksi, saksaksi ja englanniksi myös Android- ja iOS-puhelimen mobiilisovelluksesta (Play-kaupasta ja App Storesta): Nettikirkko - Seinäjoen seurakunta (<a href=\"https://www.seinajoenseurakunta.fi/verkkokirkko\">seinajoenseurakunta.fi</a>).</p>\n",

Se valmistui vuonna 1850 ja vihittiin käyttöön toukokuussa 1852. Suunnittelija on valtionarkkitehti E. Lohrman ja rakentamista valvoi Jaakko Kuorikoski. Kirkko on tehty kivestä ja tiilestä. Tervetuloa!</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Nurmon kirkko on kirkonrakentajien Antti ja Kaappo Hakolan rakentama. Antti Hakola aloitti kirkonrakennustyöt ja työtä jatkoi hänen kuoltuaan poika Kaappo Hakola. Kirkko vihittiin käyttöön vuonna 1779. Kirkon ulkoväri oli alun perin punainen. Nykyisen vaalean värinsä kirkko sai vuonna 1913.<br><br>Saarnastuoli on Salomon Köhlströmin vuonna 1782 rakentama. Ensimmäisen maalin sisätiloille antoi kirkkomaalari Johan Tilen, jonka mallin mukaisia ovat saarnastuoli sekä kattojen ja seinien reunaornamentit vuodelta 1787. Kirkkomaalari Juho Koskiniemi maalasi ikkunoihin \"verhot\", seinien yläosien ornamentit sekä Kylväjä-maalauksen vuonna 1844. Taiteilija Frans Hiivanainen maalasi Hyvä Paimen- ja Tuhlaajapoika-maalaukset vuonna 1913. Alttaritaulu on taiteilija Väinö Hämäläisen teos Jeesus ja samarialainen nainen vuodelta 1914. Alttariseinän lasimaalaukset ovat Honkajuuren perheen lahjoitus vuodelta 1924.<br><br>Kirkon viimeisin saneeraus on valmistunut vuonna 1979. Korjausten yhteydessä pyrittiin vaalimaan kirkon alkuaikojen asua. Samassa yhteydessä saatiin uudet, taiteilija Kerttu Vihko-Voipion suunnittelemat kirkkotekstiilit.<br><br>Kirkkopihassa ovat myös vuonna 1928 rakennettu kappeli sekä tapulirakennus, jonka ulkoseinässä on Heikki Mikkilän tekemä vaivaispoika vuodelta 1840.<br><br>Nurmon kirkon urut: Kirkon nykyiset urut ovat vuodelta 1986. Ne ovat saksalaisen Hans Heinrichin Maksamaalla rakentamat. Urut ovat mekaaniset ja niissä on 25 äänikertaa, kaksi pillistöä ja kaksi koskettimistoa.<br><br>Kirkossa on noin 650 istumapaikkaa.<br><br>Kirkon esittely löytyy suomeksi, ruotsiksi, saksaksi ja englanniksi myös Android- ja iOS-puhelimen mobiilisovelluksesta (Play-kaupasta ja App Storesta): Nettikirkko - Seinäjoen seurakunta (<a href=\"https://www.seinajoenseurakunta.fi/verkkokirkko\">seinajoenseurakunta.fi</a>).</p>\n",
