Nouse laivaan, luvassa on tappohauska kaksituntinen loma omasta arjestasi!</p>\n<p>Päiväristeily-komedia lähettää matkaan kaksi suomalaisturistia, joiden eväsrepusta löytyy seikkailunhalun ja toiveiden lisäksi runsas annos ennakkoluuloja ja epäilyksiä.</p>\n<p>Mutta perillä koetaan kaikki se, mikä tiedostavan suomalaisen kuuluu kokea: aikamatka entiseen Neuvostoliittoon sekä valaiseva pyrähdys uuteen ja uljaaseen Viroon. Käymättä emme jätä kauneuskirurgilla saati kynsiteknikollakaan. Henkiin herätetään myös Mustamäen tori sekä vanhat viikingit, joten säästä matkakuluissa ja tule teatteriin kokemaan koko paletti kahdessa tunnissa!</p>\n<p>Varoitus katsojalle! Perhe on muuttanut työn perässä Ruotsiin, ja pääsyy vierailuun on häät- yhdet viimeisistä Jerusalemissa. Eletään uuden ajan kynnyksellä. Loppukesästä 1975 Suomi isännöi ETY-kokousta, ja sen myötä kaikki on muuttumassa. Kuoleva kylä edustaa koko Suomen kuolevaa maaseutua ja perinteistä elämäntapaa. Pekka kaipaa takaisin tähän yksinkertaiseen aikaan, ja Meeri puolestaan näkee kehityksen ja eteenpäin menemisen ainoana järkevänä vaihtoehtona. Tarinan yhden vuorokauden kuluessa Pekka löytää nopeasti tutut kuviot, entiset kaverinsa ja entisen korvenraivaajan asenteensa.
