Haluatko oppia keinoja rentoutumiseen kesken työpäivän, nukahtamisen helpottamiseen tai ihan vain olon parantamiseen?</p>\n<p>Pohjanmaan vapaa-ajattelijat järjestää yhdessä Uskontojen uhrien tuki ry:n kanssa osallistujille maksuttoman rentoutusryhmän. Ryhmä perustuu tieteelliseen maailmankuvaan ja siihen ovat tervetulleita kaikki, jotka hyväksyvät sen säännöt: Turvallisen tilan periaatteita noudatetaan, ryhmän aikana ei harjoiteta uskontoa, eikä ketään syrjitä. Ryhmä on sateenkaariystävällinen.</p>\n<p>Ryhmä kokoontuu 7.1. alkaen joka keskiviikko Joupin koulun liikuntasalissa klo 19-20 (ei talvilomaviikolla!). Koululta saa käyttöönsä jumppamattoja, mutta voit halutessasi ottaa myös oman maton mukaan. Kannattaa ottaa mukaan myös lisävaatetta, jos harjoitusten aikana tulee vilu.</p>\n<p>Ryhmän vetäjänä toimii FM Venla Parantaja. Tapaamisten aikana opitaan hengittämään, liikkumaan ja venyttelemään jännitystä kehosta.</p>\n<p>TL;DR:</p>\n<p>Mitä: Rentoutusryhmä</p>\n<p>Missä: Joupin koulun liikuntasalissa</p>\n<p>Milloin: Keskiviikkoisin klo 19-20. Yli 65-vuotiaille suunnatut tapahtumat tarjoavat mahdollisuuden osallistua sykähdyttäviin esityksiin, luoviin työpajoihin ja uusiin yllättäviinkin kulttuurisisältöihin. Kokonaisuudessaan ohjelmassa on kahden viikon aikana yli 30 tapahtumaa, joista suuri osa on yleisölle maksuttomia. "fi": "<p>Syksyllä 30-vuotisjuhlaansa viettävä tuottaja <strong>Charles Gilin</strong> <em>Vapaat äänet</em> esittelee jälleen omaehtoista ranskalaista jazzia Suomessa, kun \"retrofuturistiseksi taskuorkesteriksi\" kutsuttu ranskalainen <strong>Abysskiss</strong>saapuu maaliskuisella kiertueellaan Seinäjoelle. <br> <br> <strong>Abysskiss</strong> on ilahduttava taskuorkesteri: pieni yhtye, jolla on orkesterin sointi. Yhtye yhdistää luovasti baritonikitaran, saksofonin, vibrafonin, laulun sekä baritonitorven ja flugabonen, joka on harvoin kuultu torvisoitin. Tämä miniatyyriorkesteri tutkii jazzin, vapaan improvisaation, avantgarden, kamarimusiikin, laulun ja improvisaation risteyskohtia luoden vahvasti omanlaistaan ilmaisua. Yhtyeen viimeisin <em>levy Big Dipper</em> on saanut Ranskassa laajasti huomiota mm. Jazz Magazinen ja Ranskan Jazz-akatemian vuoden 2025 huomionarvoisten tulokasyhtyeiden listauksissa.<br> <br>Saksofonisti <strong>Camille Maussionin</strong> ja Seinäjoella aikaisemmin esiintyneen kitaristi <strong>Pierre Téreygeolin</strong> perustama <strong>Abyskiss</strong>haastaa jazzin konventioita tässä ja nyt. <strong>Victor Auffray</strong> (baritonitorvi, flugabone, laulu) ja <strong>Illya Amar</strong> (vibrafoni) täydentävät yhtyeen, joka yllättää kuulijansa yhä uudelleen ja luo omia ainutlaatuisia äänimaailmojaan seikkaillen yli genrerajojen.<strong>Abysskissin</strong> musiikki väistää kuvailuja taitavasti. Luvassa on siis jazzyleisölle sekä tuttuja että harvemmin kuultuja helmiä tämän päivän tulkintoina, joten katse suuntautuu historian lisäksi vahvasti tulevaisuuteen. Avaussetin jälkeen lava on vapaa jammaajille, joiden kanssa kompassi kääntyy kohti amerikkalaisen jazzmusiikin perintöä.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Luotsi koostuu jazzmusiikin konkareista ja tulevaisuuden nimistä. Alttosaksofonisti ja huilisti <strong>Oona Mattsson</strong> on esiintynyt useiden tunnettujen kotimaisten jazzmuusikoiden kanssa, sekä big bandien että pienempien kokoonpanojen riveissä. Hänen soittoaan voi kuulla muun muassa Kanvas-yhtyeen ja Siina Suutarisen keväällä 2025 julkaistuilla albumeilla. Pianisti <strong>Riitta Paakki</strong> on arvostettu jazzmuusikko, säveltäjä ja yhtyeenjohtaja, joka sai Jazzliiton Yrjö-palkinnon vuonna 2019. Hän on julkaissut omien yhtyeidensä kanssa seitsemän albumia. <strong>Lauri Ikävalko </strong>on Savonlinnasta kotoisin oleva ja Helsingissä nykyään vaikuttava kontrabasisti, joka rakentaa soittonsa improvisaation ja vuorovaikutuksen varaan. Häntä inspiroi erityisesti maailman musiikkien rytmiikan yhdistäminen jazziin. <strong>Markus Ketola</strong> on puolestaan UMO Helsinki Jazz Orchestran pitkäaikainen rumpali ja rytmisektion äänenjohtaja. Hänen monipuoliset ansionsa säveltäjänä ja instrumentalistina on huomioitu muun muassa Jazzliiton Yrjö-palkinnolla 2012 sekä Jazz-Emmalla 1998.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><em>Konsertti on osa Suomen Jazzliiton, Metropolia Ammattikorkeakoulun Musiikin, Sibelius-Akatemian Jazzmusiikin koulutusohjelman ja UMO Helsinki Helsinki Jazz Orchestran Jamiluokka-hanketta, jonka mahdollistaa Niilo Helanderin säätiön avustus. Hankkeessa muodostetaan jazzmusiikin huippuammattilaisista ja musiikin ammattilaisiksi opiskelevista koostuva yhtye ja houseband, jolle Jazzliitto tuottaa valtakunnallisen konserttikiertueen. Hankkeen tavoitteena on kehittää opiskelijoiden työelämä- ja esiintymisvalmiuksia sekä kasvattaa heidän uralleen tärkeitä verkostoja. Moniammatilliseen yhteistyöhön perustuva toimintamalli tukee alan tulevien huippujen urakehitystä edistäen samalla jazzmusiikin alueellista saavutettavuutta. Seinäjoen konsertin osalta yhteistyökumppanina on myös Taideyliopiston Seinäjoen yksikkö.</em></p>\n<p><em><br>Vuonna 2026 tulee kuluneeksi 100 vuotta siitä, kun jazz symbolisesti rantautui Andania-laivan mukana Suomeen. Vuosi on siten historiallinen kotimaisen jazzin juhlavuosi: Jazz Suomi 100 -juhlavuosi. Juhlavuosi nostaa esiin kotimaista jazzia ja sen tekijöitä niin Suomessa kuin ulkomailla, ja juhlii jazzia osana suomalaista kulttuuriperintöä. Hän on esiintynyt useiden jazzyhtyeiden solistina, muun muassa Pori Jazz All Starsissa.</p>\n<p>Halosen kanssa esiintyvässä Reiska Laine Quartetissa nähdään ja kuullaan pitkän linjan jazzrumpali-liiderin lisäksi taidokkaita huippumuusikoitamme: saksofonisti Jari Perkiömäki, pianisti Riitta Paakki sekä basisti Mikael Saastamoinen. Vaikka he edustavat eri sukupolvia, he ovat musiikillisesti hengenheimolaisia.</p>\n<p>Rumpali Reino \"Reiska\" Laine (s. 1946) soitti itsensä suomalaisen jazzin historiaan jo 1960-luvun loppupuolella ja on vuosikymmenten varrella vaikuttanut jazzelämäämme myös muuten kuin rumpusetin takana.</p>\n<p>Suomen ensimmäinen jazzmaisteri ja jazztohtori, saksofonisti Jari Perkiömäki (s. 1961) on toiminut kauan Sibelius-Akatemian jazzosaston opettajana, lehtorina sekä osastonjohtajana. Hän on Suomen Jazzliiton puheenjohtaja ja tulee siinä ominaisuudessa tervehtimään jäsenyhdistystä, Ylistaron Kaukolankylän jazzkerhoa.</p>\n<p>Lahtelaistaustainen pianisti Riitta Paakki (s. 1971) on vaikuttanut pääkaupunkiseudun jazzelämässä toistakymmentä vuotta. Oman trionsa ja kvartettinsa lisäksi Paakki on soittanut vuosien varrella muun muassa Mirja Mäkelän bändissä. Paakki on myös opettanut jazzpianoa Sibelius-Akatemiassa ja Espoon pop/jazzopistossa Ebelissä.</p>\n<p>Savonlinnasta Helsinkiin singahtanut Mikael Saastamoinen (s. 1991) on basisti, artisti ja tuottaja. Hän on yksi kiinnostavimmista kotimaisista jazz- ja avantgarde-muusikoista ja on soittaa useissa eri yhtyeissä ja projekteissa, kuten OK:KO ja Superposition. Saastamoinen monipuolisena muusikkona liikkuu sujuvasti eri musiikkityylien välillä jazzin ja improvisaation kentillä.</p>\n<p>Kalevan Navetan Hugo-salissa Heta Halonen tekee kunniaa pianisti-laulaja Blossom Dearielle, jonka vuonna 1959 julkaistu levy ”Once Upon a Summertime” toimii ohjelmiston inspiraationa. Dearie työskenteli myös Paroisissaa, jossa hän nousi kokoonpanonsa kanssa vuonna 1954 maineeseen ranskankielisellä versiollaan laulusta \"Lullaby of Birdland\". Anekdoottina kerrottakoon, että Dearie tutustui Lontoossa John Lennoniin; he ihailivat toistensa kykyjä ja kirjoittivat lauluja toisilleen.</p>\n<p>Vuonna 2026 tulee kuluneeksi 100 vuotta siitä, kun jazz symbolisesti rantautui Andania-laivan mukana Suomeen. Vuosi on siten historiallinen kotimaisen jazzin juhlavuosi: Jazz Suomi 100 -juhlavuosi. Juhlavuosi nostaa esiin kotimaista jazzia ja sen tekijöitä niin Suomessa kuin ulkomailla, ja juhlii jazzia osana suomalaista kulttuuriperintöä. Jazz Suomi 100 -kampanjaa koordinoi Suomen Jazzliitto.</p>\n",

Tapahtumassa on mukana lähes 800 laulajaa.
