Pelätyn hahmon mysteeri kalvaa nuoren Arthurin mieltä. Ja näytelmän edetessä mieheen syvät jäljet jättänyt tarina alkaa käydä pelottavan todeksi…</p>\n<p>Susan Hillin romaaniin (1983) perustuvaa näytelmää on esitetty Lontoossa vuodesta 1989 lähtien.</p>\n<p>Näytelmän brittimäisen tyylikkäissä rooleissa loistavat Esa Ahonen ja Tomi Turunen. Jännitystarinan ohjaa Jermo Grundström, jonka aiempi ohjaus Seinäjoella oli The Addams Family (2023).</p>\n",

Ja näytelmän edetessä mieheen syvät jäljet jättänyt tarina alkaa käydä pelottavan todeksi…</p>\n<p>Susan Hillin romaaniin (1983) perustuvaa näytelmää on esitetty Lontoossa vuodesta 1989 lähtien.</p>\n<p>Näytelmän brittimäisen tyylikkäissä rooleissa loistavat Esa Ahonen ja Tomi Turunen. Jännitystarinan ohjaa Jermo Grundström, jonka aiempi ohjaus Seinäjoella oli The Addams Family (2023).</p>\n",

Jännitystarinan ohjaa Jermo Grundström, jonka aiempi ohjaus Seinäjoella oli The Addams Family (2023).</p>\n",

"fi": "<p><strong>Tiina Laasosen</strong> yksityisnäyttely <em>Tunnen puun, joka kasvoi suureksi </em>esittelee seinäjokiselta kuvanveistäjältä uusia teoksia Seinäjoen taidehallin Hallissa. Näyttely käsittelee yhteisöllistä muistia, pientä puun elämän mittaista ajanjaksoa ajan pitkässä jatkumossa.</p>\n<p>Näyttelyn teokset on valmistettu puumateriaalista, joka on kerätty avoimella puunkeruukampanjalla paikallisten asukkaiden kotipihoilta Seinäjoelta, Lapualta ja Vaasasta. Keskeinen osa näyttelyä ovat taideteosten materiaaleihin liittyvät muistot ja tarinat, jotka taiteilija kirjoitti ylös puumateriaalia kerätessään. Tarinat ja muistot ovat näyttelyn teosten muotokielen ja aiheiden lähtökohtia.</p>\n<p>Taiteilija itse muistaa omenapuun, jonka istutti äitinsä kanssa voikukkapellosta raivattuun puutarhaan. Vuosia myöhemmin äiti antoi Laasoselle myrskyn katkaiseman omenapuunoksan toivoen, että siitä syntyisi taideteos. Lopulta se sai uuden elämän <em>Äidin omenapuunoksa</em> -teoksena, joka on esillä näyttelyssä.</p>\n<p>Laasonen käsittelee teoksissaan ja niiden tekotavassa puihin liittyvää tunnesidettä, niiden suhdetta muistoihin, henkilöhistoriaan ja identiteettiin.</p>\n<p>Laasosen työskentelyssä perinteinen käsityöläisyys ja puuntyöstötekniikat yhdistyvät nykykuvanveiston kanssa. Työskentelyprosessi on hidas, vaitonainen ja samaa työvaihetta toistava. Hallin rouhea ja betoninen arkkitehtuuri tarjoaa taustan eri puulajien sävyille, puun lämmölle ja pehmeydelle. Kookkaat teokset noudattelevat Laasoselle tuttua muotokieltä: puisia nauhoja, neuleita ja helmiä. Muodot symboloivat jatkuvuutta ja katkeamattomuutta sukupolvien ketjussa ja ajassa.</p>\n<p><strong>Tiina Laasonen</strong></p>\n<p>Tiina Laasonen (s. 1968 Kauhava) asuu ja työskentelee Seinäjoella. Laasonen valmistui vuonna 1993 Kankaanpään taidekoulusta kuvanveistäjäksi. Laasonen on toiminut myös ympäristötaiteilijana ja tehnyt useita julkisia teoksia. Hänen veistoksiaan ja tilataideteoksiaan on nähty lukuisissa galleria- ja museonäyttelyissä Suomessa ja ulkomailla, ja hänen teoksiaan on monissa museoissa ja julkisissa kokoelmissa. Tiina Laasoselle on myönnetty 2019 Sanomalehti Pohjalaisen <em>Vaasan Jaakkoo</em> -kulttuuripalkinto, 2017 <em>Pohjanmaan taidetoimikunnan taidepalkinto</em> ja 1997 <em>Nuori pohjalainen taiteilija</em> -palkinto.</p>\n<p>Taiteilijan työskentelyä on tukenut SKR Etelä-Pohjanmaan rahasto ja Taiteen edistämiskeskus.</p>\n<p>Kuva: Katariina Vestergård</p>\n",

"en": "<p><em>Know a Tree that Grew Up</em> is a solo exhibition by <a href=\"https://www.tiinalaasonen.fi/\"><strong>Tiina Laasone</strong></a><strong>n</strong> presenting new works by the Seinäjoki based sculptor. The exhibition deals with communal memory and observes a lifespan of a single tree in relation to the long continuum of time.</p>\n<p>The works in the exhibition are made from wood collected through an open call: Local people in Seinäjoki, Lapua and Vaasa donated material for the artworks directly from their gardens. While collecting the pieces of wood for the art works, the artist took notes on the stories and memories the donators had on the material. The stories and memories later became central to the exhibition: they serve as the subject of the artworks as well as the starting point for the formal language of the exhibition.</p>\n<p>The artist herself still remembers how she and her mother planted an apple tree in the garden cleared from the dandelion field. Years later, the mother gave Laasonen an apple tree branch cut by a storm, hoping that the brach could be turned into a work of art. In the end, the branch got a new life as <em>Mother’s apple tree branch</em>, an artwork on display in the exhibition.</p>\n<p>Through her art as well as the process of working, Laasonen reflects on the emotional bond associated with trees, the way they connect to our memories, personal histories and identities.</p>\n<p>Laasonen’s work combines traditional craftsmanship and woodworking techniques with contemporary sculpture. The working process is slow, silent and often repeating the same work phase. The large works follow the form that is familiar to Laasonen: they turn into wooden strips, knits and beads. The shapes symbolize continuity and unbrokenness in the chain of generations and time.</p>\n<p>The rough and concrete architecture of Seinäjoki Kunsthalle exhibition space provides a contrasting background for the varying tones of different types of wood, the warmth and tenderness of the material.</p>\n"

Avajaisia järjestetään pääasiassa Kalevan Navetan tapahtumapäivien yhteydessä, jolloin talo on täynnä myös muuta monipuolista kulttuuriohjelmaa. Avajaisissa järjestetään taiteilijoiden ja kuraattoreiden haastatteluja, avoimia työpajoja ja opastuksia, joiden avulla uudesta näyttelystä saa enemmän irti.</p>\n<p><strong>Saapuminen Kalevan Navettaan</strong></p>\n<p>Osoite: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.</p>\n<p>Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. "fi": "<p>Näyttely avoinna kesäkuulla:</p>\n<p>ti-ke klo 13-18</p>\n<p>la-su klo 13-16</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kansainvälisten arkkitehtien ryhmä kokoontui elokuun alkupuolella 2024 Jalasjärvelle ja Seinäjoelle piirtämään pohjalaisia tuulimyllyjä. Millintarkkoihin käsivaralla tehtyihin piirustuksiin tallentui viiva kerrallaan mamsellimylly Törnävältä sekä jalka- ja varvasmyllyjä Jalasjärveltä.</p>\n<p>Pohjalainen Rakennusperintö ry kutsui ja isännöi piirtäjiä Pohjanmaalla jo toisen kerran. Edellisellä kerralla vuonna 2022 dokumentoitiin Kuortaneella kaksfooninkisia. Molempien leirien sisällöistä on koostettu Kauhajoen kulttuuritaloon näyttely ”Kansanrakennuksia kansainvälisin silmin”, joka avautuu 3.6.2025. Näyttelyn on suunnitellut Pohjalainen Rakennusperintö ry:n puheenjohtaja Riitta Jaakkola, joka kertoo koko projektin leireineen, seminaareineen ja näyttelyineen olleen mittava, mutta erittäin tärkeä jo ihan paikallisen rakennusperinnön dokumentaation kannalta. Näyttelyn avulla halutaankin herätellä yleisöä arvostamaan ja suojelemaan vanhoja rakennuksia. Loppukesällä 2025 julkistetaan vielä hankkeeseen kuuluva ”Pohjalaiset tuulimyllyt” -julkaisu, jota leiripiirrokset kuvittavat.</p>\n<p>Piirustustekniikan taustalla on kansainvälinen International Vernadoc -hanke, jossa kansanrakennuksia dokumentoidaan mittapiirustusten avulla maailmanlaajuisesti. Hankkeen on käynnistänyt suomalainen arkkitehti Markku Mattila 1990-luvulla. Mattila on toiminut pitkään projektien vetäjänä Suomessa ja maailmalla. Toiminta on alusta asti perustunut mestari-kisälli-ajatteluun, jolloin kokeneemmat piirtäjät neuvovat tuoreita osaajia. Leirin osallistujat kiittelivät leirillä olevaa ilmapiiriä ja oppeja piirtämistekniikasta. Arkkitehdit kertovat saavansa vanhoista rakenteista ja rakentamistavoista inspiraatiota myös nykyrakennusten suunnitteluun.</p>\n<p>Millintarkkojen mittapiirrosten tekeminen vaatii kärsivällisyyttä, taitoa ja tarkkaa silmän ja käden yhteistyönä. Yhden piirustuksen tekoon kului leirillä viikon päivät. Työ on hidasta ja se aloitetaan tarkalla mittaamisella. Silloin rakennuksen yksityiskohdat toistuvat paperille tarkasti ja mittasuhteet pysyvät paikoillaan. Sekä leirillä että näyttelyn tekemisessä mukana ollut alavutelaislähtöinen arkkitehtiopiskelija Ilari Anttila kertoo oppineensa katsomaan ja arvostamaan rakennuksia uudella tavalla. Tuulimyllyt ovat hyvä kohde, sillä ne edustavat kansanomaisia maaseudun rakennuksia, mutta niiden sisätiloissa on monimutkaista tekniikkaa ja sen kaiken tallentaminen piirtämällä tuo esille sekä rakennustavan että esteettiset arvot.
