Ryhmä on esiintynyt yli 30 maassa ja saanut tunnustusta sekä yleisöltä että kriitikoilta. Mozart X Mozart -esityksessä tanssijat Katariina Luukas ja Kasperi Kolehmainen esittävät otteita koreografi Susanna Leinosen teoksista sekä dueton koreografi Luca Signorettin MOZART, MOZART -teoksesta.</p>\n",

Voit ihmetellä.</p>\n<p>Nelimarkka-Rahasto sr.n nykytaiteen kokoelmasta poimitut teokset tarjoavat kattauksen kotimaista nykytaidetta ripauksella kansainvälisyyttä.</p>\n<p>Näyttelyssä esillä olevia uudempia tekijöitä edustavat esimerkiksi <strong>Ines Sederholm</strong> ja <strong>Tuukka Tammisaari</strong>. Tammisaaren öljyvärimaalaukset asettuvat taidehistorian ja nykytaiteen väliseen dialogiin. Sederholmin työskentely taas pohjaa alkuperäiskulttuureihin sekä Tyynenmeren ja Kaakkois-Aasian visuaalisiin perinteisiin.</p>\n<p>Uransa keskivaiheen taiteilijoita ovat muun muassa <strong>Nanna Susi</strong> ja <strong>Viggo Wallensköld</strong>. Wallensköld maalaa usein yksittäisiä, fyysisesti ja olemukseltaan poikkeavia ihmishahmoja, joiden on kuvattu yhdistävän eri ikäkausia, sukupuolia, historiallisia aikakausia ja yhteiskuntaluokkia. Susi puolestaan tunnetaan värikylläisistä ja ilmaisuvoimaisista maalauksistaan.</p>\n<p>Kokeneempaa maalaripolvea taas edustavat esimerkiksi <strong>Jarmo Mäkilä</strong>, joka on keskeinen suomalaisen postmodernismin edustaja, ja Etelä-Pohjanmaalta kotoisin oleva <strong>Antti Ojala</strong>. Hänen omaelämäkerrallinen maalaustaiteensa punoo yhteen kansanomaisen perinteen, kulttuurihistorian ja arjen havainnot yleisinhimillisiksi kuvatarinoiksi.</p>\n<p>Edellä mainittujen taiteilijoiden lisäksi mukana on teoksia <strong>Linda Arolalta, Janne Kaitalalta, Mi Kuopalta, Inari Krohnilta, Hannele Kylänpäältä, Olli-Pekka Merimaalta, Kimmo Pyyköltä, Anna Retulaiselta, Filippo Tincolinilta, Arja Toivoselta, Katja Tukiaiselta, Juba Tuomolalta ja Hannu Väisäseltä</strong>.</p>\n<p>NÄYTTELYN TEOSVALINNAT<br><strong>Carmen Vendelin-Laukkanen </strong>ja näyttelytyöryhmä</p>\n<p>Nelimarkka-Rahasto sr. on taiteilija ja professori <strong>Eero Nelimarkan</strong> vuonna 1945 perustama säätiö. Sen tehtävänä on professori Nelimarkan tuotannon ja elämäntyön vaaliminen sekä hänen taiteellisen tuotantonsa säilyttäminen.</p>\n<p>Säätiö tukee Nelimarkka-museon toimintaa ja omistaa sen peruskokoelman. Tapahtuma alkaa täytekakkukahveilla klo 14 ja jatkuu juhlapuheiden, ansiomerkkien ja musiikin merkeissä. Juhlapuhujana toimii Suomen Kylät ry:n puheenjohtaja Arto Pirttilahti. Tilaisuus on osa valtakunnallista Avoimet Kylät -tapahtumakokonaisuutta.</p>\n<p>Samana päivänä klo 12 alkaen järjestetään muutaman vuoden tauon jälkeen Alastaipaleen kyläkoulun entisten oppilaiden tapaaminen. Tervetulosanojen jälkeen aloitellaan ruokailulla (lohikeitto), jonka jälkeen kuulemme mielenkiintoisia muisteluita koulun eri vuosikymmeniltä. Kalenteri on avattuna A3-kokoinen ja sen kuvissa nähdään kyläläisten ikuistamia kauniita maisemia eri puolilta Alastaipaletta. Kalenterin ennakkotilauksen voi tehdä kyläjuhlan ilmoittautumislomakkeella tai Maritalta. Juhlapaikalla on mahdollisuus ostaa myös muita Alastaipale-tuotteita: kyläkirjat, valokuvakirja, pipo, frisbeegolfkiekot.
