"fi": "<p>KYLÄN TIELLÄ -konsertti</p>\n<p>Säveltäjämestari Oskar Merikannon musiikkia</p>\n<p>Torstaina 17.10. klo 18:00 Jalasjärven seurakuntasalissa</p>\n<p>Väliaikakahvit (vapaaehtoinen kahviraha)</p>\n<p>Vapaa pääsy. </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Säveltäjämestari Oskar Merikannon sukujuuret juontavat Jalasjärvelle. Hänen isoisänsä oli Kannon talon isäntä Jalasjärvellä. Tuossa ”kantakodissa” Oskar Merikanto aikuisena vieraili mielellään. Hänelle ei suotu pitkää elinaikaa, vaan hän kuoli sydänsairauteen 55-vuoden ikäisenä 17. helmi-kuuta 1924. Kuluneen sadan vuoden aikana Merikannon musiikki on säilyttänyt hämmästyttävän hyvin paikkansa suomalaisessa musiikkielämässä. Merikanto oli monipuolinen ja ehdottoman ammattitaitoinen musiikillinen toimija omana aikanaan suomalaisessa kulttuurielämässä. Säveltäjänä, urkurina, pianistina, kapellimestarina, opettajana ja kriitikkona hänen työskentelynsä on kantanut hedelmää meidän päiviimme saakka.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Syömmeen käyvät Merikannon sävelet soivat Kylän tiellä -konsertissa Jalasjärven seurakuntasalissa tors-taina 17.10 klo 18. Musiikkiesitysten välissä kerronnalliset osuudet valottavat Oskar Merikannon elämäntaipaletta ja persoonaa. Konsertissa esiintyvät Merikannon Pohjan neiti -oopperan nimiroolin esittänyt ja kyseisestä teoksesta osia levyttänyt sopraano Eilamaria Leskinen, tenori Hannu Jurmu ja pianotaiteilija Jouni Somero.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tämän konsertin lauluissa on sekä Merikannon kansallisromanttisia teoksia, että myös erittäin harvoin kuultuja myöhäiskauden lauluja. Merellä-laulusta tässä konsertissa kuullaan sen alkuperäinen versio, jossa keskitaitteen ’Alla Barcarolla’ on laulun kokonaisuuden hahmottumisen kannalta olennainen osa. Harvoin esitetyissä myöhäiskauden lauluissa sanan ja sävelen ’alkemia’ on kokonaisuuden ytimessä. Merikannon viimeisissä lauluissa (Op. 113) on esillä säveltäjälle tuolloin tärkeäksi muodostunut teosofinen elämänkatsomus.
