From the beginning, the band was labeled a supergroup due to its members’ backgrounds in acts such as Eternal Tears of Sorrow, Embraze, Charon, Kalmah and other influential Finnish bands. The early line-up also included Tuomas Holopainen (Nightwish) and Petri Sankala (ex-Eternal Tears of Sorrow, ex-Kalmah), which further strengthened that reputation.</p>\n<p>The band released its debut album, Fallen, in 2003 via Spinefarm Records/Universal Music. Its melodic gothic atmosphere and emotional songwriting gained attention all over the world. After the following release, Killing Romance EP (2004), the band entered a long period of inactivity as its members continued with their other musical projects.</p>\n<p>Now, more than two decades later, For My Pain... returns with new music. The band’s second studio album, “Buried Blue,” will be released on January 9th, 2026. The album marks an important milestone—continuing the group’s original sound while bringing Northern melancholy to a new level. The material reflects the band’s musical growth and the long journey between the two records.</p>\n<p>The continued support from fans around the world played a significant role in bringing For My Pain... back to life. The band’s return is both a response to that lasting enthusiasm and a natural next step for the musicians involved. Bändi perustettiin vuonna 2015 Äänekoskella, ja se on viime vuosina raivannut tietään vähitellen kohti kotimaisen metallin terävintä kärkeä. Resepti koostuu suomalaisesta melankoliasta, itsetutkiskelevista teksteistä ja tarttuvista melodioista. Saundillisesti liikutaan samoilla synkillä vesillä kuin vuosituhannen vaihteen suomalaisen goottimetallin menestystarinoissa, mutta päivitettynä 2020-luvulle. Yhtyeen vuonna 2024 julkaisema Under Disheartening Skies vakuutti kriitikot ja kuulijat – levyä nostettiin ilmestymisvuonnaan jopa oman genrensä parhaimmistoon. Yhtye on kolmivuotisen luovan prosessin aikana työstänyt ja hionut tuotantoaan, joka konkretisoitui syksyllä 2024, kun bändi vetäytyi E-Studiolle äänittämään peräti kaksi albumillista musiikkia yhdessä Väinö Karjalaisen (mm. Arppa, J. Karjalainen, Ursus Factory) kanssa. Albumit miksattiin Lontoossa Mikko Gordonin (mm. The Smile, IDLES, Arcade Fire, Pete Townshend) kanssa keväällä 2025.</p>\n<p>Free Carmenin soundi nojaa vahvasti bändisoiton voimaan ja orgaaniseen ilmaisuun. Solstice I ja Solstice II ovat bändin omaehtoisesti tuotettu esikoisalbumi, joka pohjautuu valon ja vuodenkierron vaihteluun – levyjen kappaleet etenevät kuin vuodenajat valoisasta kohti pimeää ja taas takaisin. Tupla-albumi, joka ammentaa päivänseisauksen teemoista, julkaistiin kahdessa osassa kesä- ja talvipäivänseisauksina vuonna 2025, tasan kuuden kuukauden päässä toisistaan. Rytmikorjaamon keikka on osa keväällä 2026 toteutettavaa Solstice Tour -albumikiertuetta.</p>\n<p>HITES<br>Ensimmäistä kertaa Seinäjoella nähtävä HITES on brittiläis-suomalainen, tinkimätön alternative-punk-yhtye, joka toimii Helsingissä. Vuonna 2023 perustettu nelihenkinen kokoonpano on kerännyt kulttimaineen Helsingin underground-punk-piireissä erittäin intensiivisten ja interaktiivisten live-esiintymistensä ansiosta.</p>\n<p>Raaka, saranaton laulu karjuu suoraan leipäjonon vatsasta, kietoutuen ironiaan ja raskaaseen säröön. Musiikillisesti HITES yhdistelee tyylilajeja kuten punkkia, metallia, funkkia ja kokeellista musiikkia luodakseen oman elämän saavuttavan, ainutlaatuisen soundin.</p>\n<p>SOM ÄR DÖD<br>Seinäjokelais-tamperelainen Som Är Död saapuu Rytmikorjaamolle tarjoilemaan musiikkia tuoreelta ep:ltään. Som Är Död on bändi, joka yhdistää vaihtoehtorockin intensiteetin, noise rockin kaoottisen särmän ja tinkimättömän energian, joka räjäyttää tilan eloon. Yhtyeen soundi on raskas, rosoinen ja armoton – jokainen sointu iskee lujaa ja jättää jäljen.</p>\n<p>Tämä bändi ei soita vain keikkoja – se tarjoilee elämyksiä, jotka löyhkäävät hikiselle flanellille ja ylikuumentuneille vakuumiputkille. Live-esiintymiset ovat räjähtäviä ja rehellisiä: täynnä hikeä, raivoa ja karheaa kauneutta.
