Päivän aikana kartanon ja museon alueella on monipuolista ohjelmaa kaikenikäisille: museon pihapiiristä löytyy lapsille erilaisia leikkejä, ja kartanon takapihan esiintymislavalla on erilaisia esityksiä 1800-luvun aiheista sekä musiikkikonsertti. Myös Wasastjerna-suvun edustajat saapuvat tapahtumaan, ja Kivinavetalla pääsemme kuulemaan luennon suvusta. "fi": "<p>Alajärven pääkirjastossa on 30.8.-8.9.2024 nähtävillä näyttely <strong>Alvar Aalto kirjastomaisemia</strong>, joka koostuu valokuvaaja <strong>Jari Jetsosen</strong> valokuvista sekä Museoviraston yliarkkitehti <strong>Sirkkaliisa Jetsosen</strong> kuvauskohteita avaavista teksteistä. Näyttely sisältää 12 Alvar Aallon ja hänen toimistonsa suunnittelemaa kirjastoa, joista kukin esitellään kahdella ulkoisesta ja sisäisestä maisemasta kertovalla kuvaparilla. Näyttely on osa Alajärvellä järjestettävää Alvar Aalto -viikkoa.</p>\n<p>Valokuvaaja Jari Jetsonen ja Museoviraston yliarkkitehti Sirkkaliisa Jetsonen ovat jo pitkään tutkineet Aallon arkkitehtuuria Suomessa ja ulkomailla.</p>\n<p><strong>Näyttelyn avajaiset ovat perjantaina 30.8. klo 18.</strong></p>\n<p><em>\"Jonkinlaisten fantastisten vuorimaisemien avulla, joiden eri rinteitä valaisivat monet eri asennoissa olevt auringot, sytyi vähitellen kirjastorakennuksen pääidea. Kirjaston arkkitehtonisena runkona on eri tasoille ja moneen portaaseen sijoitetut luku- ja lainauspinta-alat, keskuksen ja valontapaikan muodostaessa eri tasojen huipun.\"</em></p>\n<p>- Alvar Aalto 1947 Viipurin kaupunginkirjastosta.</p>\n<p>Edellä oleva kuvaus kertoo Viipurin kaupunginkirjastosta, mutta sen kaksi teemaa, tilojen \"maisemallisuus\" ja niitä eri tavoin jäsentävä ja korostava valaistus, toistuvat Aalto-kirjastoissa. Kirjaston käyttäjälle vaihtelevat tilat tarjoavat sekä visuaalisia että toiminnallisia kiintopisteitä. Maisemallisuus näyttäytyy sekä kirjaston sisätiloissa että tavassa, jolla rakennukset ovat osa ympäristöään.</p>\n",
