"fi": "<p><strong>Friikoolin messu</strong> esitettiin ensimmäisen kerran jalasjärveläisvoimin 1974. Ehkä suurin huomionosoitus Friikoolin musiikkia kohtaan tuli Sylvi Kekkosen kuolinpäivänä. Tuolloin mm. radio- ja TV-ohjelmat muutettiin päivän vakavuutta vastaaviksi. Mainos-TV korvasi silloin erään ohjelmansa esittämällä nauhoittamansa Friikoolin messun. Myös jalasjärviset pelimannit kokivat aikanaan Friikoolin soitteita esittäessään soittavansa hengellistä musiikkia, joka antoi rytmisen ja melodisen kauneutensa, surumielisyytensä ja sävellajien runsautensa puolesta enemmän kuin tavallinen pelimannimusiikki. Alkuperäisen kokoajan <strong>Jouko Tekoniemen</strong> ja sanoittaja <strong>Arvo</strong> <strong>Ylitalon </strong>näkemys messusta on sanoin lausuttuna: ”Johdannolle, joka on sepän mietiskelyä, hiljaista hätää, rakentuu koko messu. Ei monimutkaista ja vaikeaa musiikkia, vaan kansanmiehen, sepän, näkemys, joka hiljaisesta hädästä kirkastuu varmuudeksi: Hän kuulee rukoukseni.”</p>\n<p>Messu on tässäkin jalasjärveläissyntyisen pianisti-kapellimestari <strong>Lasse Hirven </strong>sovituksessa Jouko Tekoniemen laatiman muodon mukainen. Messu rakentuu kahdelle Friikoolin polskalle, Surulliselle polskalle ja Nimettömälle polskalle, jotka Lasse Hirvi on sovittanut sekakuorolle ja jousiorkesterille. Tarkoituksena on ollut säilyttää uudessakin sovituksessa kansanomainen henki sävelkieltä ja orkesteriosuuksia rikastuttaen.
