Hänen traaginen kuolemansa vuonna 1998 oli suuri menetys suomalaisille ja musiikkimaailmalle.<br>Jampan kuolemasta on kulunut yli 25 vuotta ja syntymästä 75 vuotta, mutta Suomen kansalle hän elää. Kuka oli tämä hyväsydäminen ja surusilmäinen mies? Mitä kätkeytyy kulisseihin? "fi": "<p>Kansanmusiikin moniosaaja Antti Järvelä tuo Seinäjoelle Kalevan Navettaan tätä konserttia varten kasaamansa kokoonpanon, joka koostuu Sibelius-Akatemian kansanmusiikin koulutusohjelman alumneista ja opiskelijoista. Kansanmusiikin taiturit kolmesta Pohjanmaan maakunnasta (Etelä-, Keski-, ja Pohjois-Pohjanmaa) tuovat konsertissa esille pohjalaisen kansansoittoperinteen keruutyön pioneerien historiaa, tarinoita sekä vanhojen nuottikirjojen tanssisävelmiä 1800- ja 1900-luvulta. Järvelä aloitti viulunsoiton neljävuotiaana, ja opiskeli viulun- ja bassonsoittoa</em><del><em> </em></del><em>Sibelius-Akatemiassa. Hän on työskennellyt freelancer-muusikkona ja opettajana ympäri maailmaa. Järvelä on maailmalla meritoituneen suomalais-norjalaisen Frigg-yhtyeen perustaja ja Baltic Crossing, JPP, Troka -yhtyeiden jäsen sekä kansanmusiikkikollektiivin Orivesi All Starsin perustaja ja johtaja. Järvelä tunnetaan myös sovittajana ja säveltäjänä sekä palkittuna äänitys- ja miksausteknikkona ja tuottajana.</em></p>\n",
