Rakastetun lyyrikon yksi tärkeimmistä teoksista on vuonna 1898 ilmestynyt Hymyilevä Apollo -runoelma. <strong>Iiro Rantala</strong> ja <strong>Aarne Pelkonen</strong> julkaisevat juhlavuoden kunniaksi runoelmasta Suomen ensimmäisen kokonaislevytyksen keväällä 2026 sekä draamallisen konserttiesityksen, jonka ohjaa Jukka Nylund.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Konsertin ensimmäisen puoliajan aloittaa lauluyhtye <strong>LEINA</strong>.<br>LEINA yhdistää musiikissaan Eino Leinon tenhoavat runot Sabrina Ljungbergin sykähdyttävään sävelkieleen. Moniääninen laulu, elektroniset soundit sekä vokaali-improvisaatio kuljettavat kuulijoita runojen tunnelmasta toiseen. Yhtyeen nimi leina on vanha suomenkielen muunnos sanasta leino, joka tarkoittaa surua ja murhetta.<br><br>Ljungbergin vuonna 2022 perustamaan, musiikin ammattilaisten muodostamaan yhtyeeseen kuuluvat hänen lisäkseen <strong>Eeva Helemaa-Ryymin, Jutta-Maija Joelsson, Jenni Liikaoja</strong> ja <strong>Emmi Salervo</strong>.</p>\n",

"fi": "<p>On aika juhlia! Seinäjoen kaupungin kesäkuvataiteilijat ovat jo 10 vuoden ajan tuottaneet mahtavia taide-elämyksiä yhdessä paikallisen yleisön kanssa. Näyttely on esillä Seinäjoen taidehallin Vintti-tilassa 7.3.—8.8.2026.</p>\n<p><em>Flashback</em>-ryhmänäyttely esittelee uusia teoksia kuudelta Seinäjoen kaupungin kesäkuvataiteilijalta vuosilta 2018–2023. Seinäjoen taidehallin Vintti-näyttelytilassa nähdään teokset Eetu Kevarinmäeltä (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2018) Aeon Luxilta (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2019), Sofi Häkkiseltä (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2020), Riikka Gröndahlilta (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2021), Olivia Viitakankaalta (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2022) ja Baran Caginlilta (kesäkuvataiteilija, 2023). Vintti-tila täyttyy muun muassa maalauksesta, videoinstallaatiosta ja veistotaiteesta.</p>\n<p>Seinäjoen kaupungin kesäkuvataiteilija-malli on ollut Suomessa uraauurtava. Kaupunki on palkannut vuodesta 2017 lähtien ammattitaiteilijan tai kuvataiteen opiskelijan Kesäkuvataiteilijaksi. Samalla malli on laajentanut käsitystä siitä, millaista yhteistyötä kuvataiteilijan, paikallisyleisön ja kaupungin välillä voi olla. Kesäkuvataiteilijat ovat tehneet taiteellista työtä, joka on jollain tavalla näkynyt kaupunkilaisille tai osallistanut heitä. Samalla kesäkuvataiteilijoista ja heidän työskentelystään on tullut rakastettu osa Seinäjoen kesää. Jokainen projekti on tuonut mukanaan Seinäjoelle jotain uutta, raikasta ja odottamatonta. Kesätaiteilijat ovat vuosien aikana toteuttaneet muun muassa leipäveistoksia, syväarkistoineet videomuotokuvia ja tutkineet sattuman mahdollisuutta.</p>\n<p><em>Flashback</em>-ryhmänäyttely on välähdys menneisyydestä ja kirkas näkymä tulevaisuuteen. Näyttelyn nimi <em>Flashback</em> viittaa takaumaan ja muistikuvaan. Taiteilijat palaavat kesäkuvataiteilijavuoden teoksiin, mutta katsovat ennen kaikkea eteenpäin.</p>\n<p>Näyttelyn kaikille avoimia avajaisia vietetään AfterWork Art -tapahtuman yhteydessä 6.3.2026.</p>\n<p><h3>Taiteilijat</h3></p>\n<p><strong>Eetu Kevarinmäki</strong> (s. 1993) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2018. Hänen pääasialliset työskentelyvälineensä ovat internet, puhelin, skanneri ja kannettava tietokone. Kevarinmäki louhii teoksiaan varten valtavia määriä internetin kuvamassaa. Teokset törmäyttävät usein tulevaisuuden uhkakuvia huumorin kanssa. Kevarinmäki on opiskellut Turun taideakatemiassa kuvataiteilijaksi.</p>\n<p><strong>Aeon Lux</strong> (s. 1993) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2019. Hän on seinäjokinen kuvataiteilija ja taiteilija-asiantuntija. Hän työskentelee keraamisen kuvanveiston, maalaamisen, piirtämisen ja performanssitaiteen parissa. Luxin taiteen tekemistä ohjaa halu tutkia todellisuutta. Metafyysiset ja esoteeriset kysymykset ovat hänen teoksiensa lähtökohtia. Aeon Lux on valmistunut kuvataiteilijaksi Kankaanpään taidekoulusta vuonna 2017.</p>\n<p><strong>Sofi Häkkinen</strong> (s. 1990) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2020. Hän keskittyy taiteellisessa työssään kuvanveistoon ja performanssiin. Hän on taiteellinen johtaja ja ohjaaja Recover Laboratory -monitaidekollektiivissa, joka kehittää suomalaista monitaidetta. Häkkinen opiskelee kuvataiteen maisteriksi Kuvataideakatemian kuvanveiston maisteriohjelmassa. Hän on valmistunut taiteen maisteriksi Aalto-yliopistosta (ViCCA, 2018) ja kuvataiteilijaksi TAMK:sta (kuvataiteilija AMK, 2016).</p>\n<p><strong>Riikka Gröndahl</strong> (s. 1989) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2021. Hän on videon, ihmisten osallistamisen ja piirtämisen parissa työskentelevä kuvataiteilija. Gröndahl on kinnostunut toistosta, kestosta sekä sisäisen ja ulkoisen maailman kohtaamisista. Gröndahl on valmistunut kuvataiteen maisteriksi Valand Academysta, Göteborgin yliopistosta vuonna 2018.</p>\n<p><strong>Olivia Viitakangas</strong> (s. 1999) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2022. Hän työskentelee tilanteiden, värin ja kliseiden parissa. Hän toteuttaa teoksia pääosin kuvanveiston ja installaation keinoin. Viitakangas on kiinnostunut teosten esittämisestä erilaisissa eletyissä elinympäristöissä. Hän opiskelee tällä hetkellä kuvanveistoa Taideyliopiston Kuvataideakatemiassa ja valmistui Lahden Muotoiluinstituutin valokuvauksen koulutusohjelmasta vuonna 2023.</p>\n<p><strong>Baran Caginli</strong> (s. 1990, Istanbul) oli Seinäjoen kesäkuvataiteilija vuonna 2023. Hän käsittelee teoksissaan laajoja kansainvälisiä ja maailmanlaajuisia aiheita, jotka koskevat valtiollisia valtasuhteita ja konflikteja, identiteettiä, syrjintää ja sortoa. Caginli käyttää työskentelyssään valokuvaa, veistoa, installaatioita ja arkistomateriaalia. Hän käyttää usein käsintehtyjä osia ja tekniikoita. Caginli on valmistunut kuvataiteen maisteriksi Kuvataideakatemian kuvanveiston maisteriohjelmassa.</p>\n",

"en": "<h3>It’s time to celebrate!</h3>\n<p>For 10 years, Seinäjoki’s Summer Artists have been creating amazing art experiences together with the local audience.</p>\n<p>Each summer since 2017, the City of Seinäjoki has employed a professional artist or art student to work as a Summer Artist. <em>The Flashback</em> group exhibition brings together six Summer Artists from 2018 to 2023. The exhibition displays new works from Eetu Kevarinmäki (Summer Artist of 2018), Aeon Lux (Summer Artist of 2019), Sofi Häkkinen (Summer Artist of 2020), Riikka Gröndahl (Summer Artist of 2021), Olivia Viitakangas (Summer Artist of 2022), Baran Caginli (Summer Artist of 2023). The exhibition will include site-specific art, sculptures, paintings, photographs and installations.</p>\n<h3>The Summer Artist</h3>\n<p>The Summer Artist, “Kesäkuvataiteilija” in Finnish, works as an employee for two months with their own independent artistic project that has been visible or participatory to the citizens of the city. The City of Seinäjoki’s Summer Artist program has broadened the view of the possibilities in which municipalities can cooperate with visual artists and act as an employer. The program has been a unique opportunity for a visual artist starting out in their career. At the same time, the Summer Artists and their work have become a beloved art of the summer in the City of Seinäjoki. Each project has been adventurous, fresh and unexpected. Summer Artists have, among other things, created bread sculptures, archived video portraits, and explored the possibility of chance.</p>\n<h3><em>Flashback</em></h3>\n<p><em>The Flashback</em> group exhibition is a glimpse into the past and a clear vision of the future. The name <em>Flashback</em> refers to memories and recollections. The artists return to the works of the summer art year, but above all, they look ahead.</p>\n<p>The exhibition will be on display at Kunsthalle Seinäjoki’s exhibition space Vintti 7.3.—8.8.2026.</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/en/art-exhibition-opening-event-flashback/\">The exhibition opening</a> will be held in conjunction with Kalevan Navetta’s Afterwork Art event on March 6, 2026.</p>\n<p></p>\n<h3>Artists in the exhibition</h3>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/eetulive/\">Eetu Kevarinmäki</a> (b. 1993) was the Summer Artist in 2018. He works mainly with internet, phone, scanner and laptop. In his practice, Kevarinmäki mines a vast amount of image data from the internet and investigates the power of images. His works collide dark future scenarios with humor. Kevarinmäki has studied at the Turku Art Academy.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/aeonluxus/\"><strong>Aeon Lux</strong></a> (b. 1993) was the Summer Artist in 2019. She is a Seinäjoki-based visual artist. She works with ceramic sculpture, painting, drawing and performance art. Lux’s art is driven by her desire to explore reality. Metaphysical and esoteric questions are often the starting points of her work. Aeon Lux graduated as a visual artist from Kankaanpää Art School in 2017.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://sofihakkinen.com/\"><strong>Sofi Häkkinen</strong></a> (b. 1990) was the Summer Artist in 2020. In her artistic work she focuses on sculpture and performance. She is the artistic director of Recover Laboratory, a multi-art collective. Häkkinen is studying for the Master’s degree in the sculpture programme at the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Aalto University (ViCCA, 2018) and a Master of Fine Arts degree from TAMK (Master of Fine Arts, 2016).</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://www.instagram.com/oliviaviitakangas/\"><strong>Olivia Viitakangas</strong></a> (b. 1999) was the Summer Artist in 2022. In her installation-based practice, Viitakangas explores the sensing and site-specific body. She uses objects and materials that are selected in relation to the context of the place, its sensory qualities, and material structures. Viitakangas is currently studying sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts at the University of the Arts Helsinki.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><a href=\"http://www.riikkagrondahl.com/\"><strong>Riikka Gröndahl</strong></a> (b.1989) was the Summer Artist in 2021. She is a visual artist working with video, participatory art and drawing. Gröndahl is interested in repetition, duration and encounters between the inner and outer worlds. Gröndahl’s works have been exhibited in Helsinki, Turku, Seinäjoki, Gothenburg and other art galleries, as well as at numerous film festivals around the world. Gröndahl holds a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Valand Academy, University of Gothenburg in 2018.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><a href=\"https://barancaginli.com/About\"><strong>Baran Caginli</strong></a> (b. 1990) was the Summer Artist in 2023. His work deals with broad universal and global themes encompassing governmental power relations, conflicts, identity, discrimination and oppression. Caginli works with photography, sculpture, installations and archival material. He often uses handmade elements and techniques. "fi": "<p>Illan aikana saat käytännön vinkkejä lyriikoiden kirjoittamiseen, riimittelyyn ja oman äänen löytämiseen.</p>\n<p>Työpaja sopii niin vasta-alkajille, kuin kokeneemmillekin kirjoittajille - tärkeintä on kiinnostus räppiin ja halu kokeilla.</p>\n<p>Brädin räppityöpaja jarjestetään Kauhavan Alahärmässä perjantaina 20.2.2026 klo 17-19.30.</p>\n<p>Tapahtumapaikkana toimii Häjyylyperinteen keskus, joka sijaitsee Alahärmän taajamassa.</p>\n<p>Työpaja on suunnattu 13-29-vuotiaille.
