Tapahtumat sijoittuvat yhteen kesäiseen päivään, vuonna 1996. Erkki ostaa käteisellä metallipajan. Kaupanteossa otetaan raakasti yhteen tehtaan entisten omistajien kanssa. Erkki tapaa myös sukulaisensa ja kuljettelee suvun miehiä ympäri maakuntaa.</p>\n<p>Paljon on Suomessa muuttunut. Erkki pääsee käsitykseen, mitä maakunnassa ollaan Euroopan unionista mieltä. On selvää, että omat synnit ovat pieniä, kun vertaa viime vuosien talousrikollisiin Suomessa. Suurin koetinkivi on kohdata aviovaimo Kaisu, joka lähti vihoissaan Floridasta, toistakymmentä vuotta sitten, lasta Pohjanmaalle synnyttämään. Kaisu on tehnyt toisenkin lapsen, lapualaasen kanssa. Välit on selvitettävä.</p>\n<p>Näytelmä on sovitettu kunnioittaen Antti Tuurin mestarillista kykyä kuvata Etelä-Pohjalaisen ihmisen sielunmaisemaa. Asiat sanotaan suoraan. "fi": "<p>Peräseinäjoen Pennihäät esittää Antti Tuurin <strong>Lakeuden kutsun</strong> Aisamäen Kesäteatterissa ajalla 2.7 – 18.7.2026.</p>\n<p>Sovitus ja ohjaus: Sari Viitasaari</p>\n<p>Verottajaa Floridaan paennut Erkki Hakala palaa isiensä maille, Kauhavalle. Tapahtumat sijoittuvat yhteen kesäiseen päivään, vuonna 1996. Erkki ostaa käteisellä metallipajan. Kaupanteossa otetaan raakasti yhteen tehtaan entisten omistajien kanssa. Erkki tapaa myös sukulaisensa ja kuljettelee suvun miehiä ympäri maakuntaa.</p>\n<p>Paljon on Suomessa muuttunut. Erkki pääsee käsitykseen, mitä maakunnassa ollaan Euroopan unionista mieltä. On selvää, että omat synnit ovat pieniä, kun vertaa viime vuosien talousrikollisiin Suomessa.
