Mäki on tehnyt viisivuotisen taustatyön romaaniaan varten, ja kirja palkittiin ilmestymisvuonnaan Tulenkantaja-palkinnolla. Osallistuminen ei edellytä romaanin tuntemista. "fi": "<p>Voit osallistua Kaisa Ikolan kirjailijavierailulle tiistaina 26.9. klo 18 Lappajärven kirjastossa, etäkatsomossa Kauhavan kirjastossa tai omalta laitteelta kotoa käsin.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kaisa Ikola julkaisi ensimmäisen kirjansa 13-vuotiaana ja oli 2000-luvun taitteeseen asti Suomen suosituimpia nuortenkirjailijoita. "fi": "<p></p>\n<p>Tervetuloa tekstiilitaiteilija Henna Mantereen kansanomaisten sisustustekstiilien lueonnolle 1.11. klo 17.30 Kauhavalle Y-kinoon! Luento striimataan ja sitä voi seurata myös etänä. Luvassa on runsaasti kuvitettu esitys pohjalaistalojen sisustustekstiileistä 1850-1940 väliseltä ajalta. Menneiden sukupolvien taito, ahkeruus, toiveet ja ihanteet kutoutuivat tekstiileihin, kuten pättiroiti, salaveeti, taalträlli ja lykkyloire.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tekstiilien kirjo avautuu kansatieteilijöiden kertomusten, kotiteollisuuden oppikirjojen ja säilyneiden tekstiilien kautta. Luennon lopuksi on mahdollisuus kysyä omista, vanhoista tekstiileistä. "fi": "<p>Keskiviikkona 6.9.2023 vietetään Kulttuurikävely -tapahtumaa, joka kiertää Kulttuurikeskus Vanhan Paukun alueella sisältäen erilaista ohjelmaa klo 12–18 aikana.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kulttuurikävely on monipuolinen koko perheen ja kaiken ikäisten tapahtuma, jonka ohjelma on saanut inspiraation Lapuan Taidemuseon keväisestä näyttelystä Tuuletus.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kulttuurikävelyn aikana on tarjolla hyvinvointia ja kulttuuria toimintarasteilla. Eri aikoina rasteilla on erilaista tehtävää: kesätaiteilijan osallistava taidepiste, temppurata lapsille ja lapsenmielisille, luovan liikkeen osuus, musiikkia, Junnu Vainion lauluja Tuppukylän Turistit bändin esittämänä Teatteri Lapuan näyttämöllä, Kennelliiton Kaverikoirat, pätkä kirjallisuuden klassikoita sekä aikuisen ja lapsen yhteinen joogahetki.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Reitin varrella on mukava käydä haukkaamassa herkullista ruokaa Cafe Patruunassa alennetuin hinnoin koko päivän ajan.</p>\n<p>Rastien tarkemmat aikataulut voit tarkistaa Kulttuurikeskus Vanhan Paukun nettisivuilta tai somesta. </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy.</p>\n",

"fi": "<p>Etelä-Pohjanmaan liitto toteutti syyskuussa 2022 sosiaalisessa mediassa <strong>#HuomisenLakeus</strong>-valokuvahaasteen. Haasteessa sosiaalisen median käyttäjät julkaisivat oman visionsa huomisen Etelä-Pohjanmaasta kuvan muodossa osallistuen samalla valokuvakilpailuun.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Haasteeseen osallistuttiin kaikkiaan noin 300 kuvalla, joiden joukosta tuomaristo valitsi voittajan ja sijoille 2.–10. yltäneet. Kuvien teemoina korostuivat erityisesti luonto ja maaseutu. Kärkikymmenikkö on nyt näyttelykiertueella Etelä-Pohjanmaan jokaisessa 18 kunnassa joulukuusta 2022 aina toukokuulle 2024 saakka.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Syyskuussa 2023</strong> <strong>Huomisen lakeus -valokuvanäyttely on nähtävissä Teuvan kirjastossa </strong>kirjaston aukioloaikoina (osoite Porvarintie 39, 64700 Teuva).
