Avajaispäivänä avataan kartanon kesäkahvila, tiloissa on opastettuja kierroksia tasatunnein, nähdään vilauksia kartanon historiasta kertovasta Suljetut ovet -draamanäytöksestä ja nautitaan musiikkiesityksistä. Kartanon takapiha on osa kahvila-aluetta ja siellä voi nauttia kesäisestä ilmasta ja mahdollisista ohjelmista. Suomen 50-60 luvulla luultavasti ainoa, viihdemusiikin täysipäiväinen ammattisäveltäjä, menehtyi 37-vuotiaana laukaukseen, jonka tahallisuus on jäänyt epäselväksi.
