Hän on opiskellut Suomen Taideakatemian koulussa Ateneumissa 1968-72, on Taidemaalariliiton jäsen ja Valtion taiteilijaeläkkeellä vuodesta 2008.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Viimeisimpiä julkisia töitä: <em>Lihonut konduktööri ja tulikaviokräätäri</em>, akryylimaalaus asuinkerrostalo Jerikon Kräätärin aulaan Seinäjoella ja <em>Evakon laulu</em>, akryylimaalaus, Kainaston Nuorisoseuralle Seinäjoella.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Mäki-Tuuri on tunnettu maalauksistaan, joissa on naivismin piirteitä ja lämmintä huumoria, joka syntyy osaksi niiden nimistä. Taiteilija avaa esillä olevaa, jouluisaa teostaan <em>Seimi</em>: “Jeesus-lapsi syntyi karjasuojassa, koska hienommat ihmiset jo täyttivät majatalon. Ainakin meillä kotona maalaistalossa vietiin sen kunniaksi navettaan jouluna eläimille parempaa purtavaa.” Toisesta maalauksestaan <em>Kova paketti</em> hän jatkaa: “Kovat lahjapaketit avattiin aina ensin ja sitten vasta pehmeät.”</p>\n",

Kuoroa johtaa</p>\n<p>kasvatustieteiden maisteri Pirjo Kotkaniemi.</p>\n<p>Jousiorkesteri Aventura de Arcos taas on laadukasta konserttitoimintaa harjoittava,puoliammattilaisorkesteri, joka toimii Seinäjoen kansalaisopiston suojissa. Orkesteri musisoi sekä klassista että viihteellistä musiikkia ja on tunnettu myös tangomarkkinoiden juhlakonserteissa esiintymisestä. Orkesteri konsertoi säännöllisesti johtajanaan kapellimestari, Seinäjoen kaupunginorkesterin konserttimestari, Antti Laasanen.</p>\n<p>Tunnelmallinen yhteiskonsertti on Oma Säästöpankkisäätiö Nurmon hyväntekeväisyystapahtuma, jossa ohjelmien tuotto ohjataan Nurmon kappeliseurakunnan diakoniatyön hyväksi. Ohjelmamaksu 10€ on vapaaehtoinen.</p>\n<p>Tule Nurmon kauniiseen kirkkoon nauttimaan Töysän Säästöpankkisäätiön /Oma Säästöpankkisäätiö Nurmon tarjoamasta konsertista ja kuulemaan upeita sovituksia ja joulun helmiä.</p>\n",
