Hänen soitossaan ilmaisuvoima, svengi ja virtuositeetti ovat tärkeitä elementtejä, mutta päällimmäisiksi tuntemukseksi häntä kuunnellessa nousevat kuitenkin vahva läsnäolo, herkkyys ja kitaran kaunis sointi.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Hän aloitti kitaransoiton 7-vuotiaana ja hakeutui myöhemmin opiskelemaan Helsingin Pop & Jazz -konservatoriolla ja sen jälkeen Sibelius-Akatemian jazzosastolle, josta hä valmistui musiikin maisteriksi vuonna 2005.
