Yhtäkkiä ja yllättäen, posteljooni Vuohi Mäk Käkätin kaatuu pyörällään pihatiellä olevaan kuoppaan ja satuttaa koipensa niin pahasti, että ei pystykään viemään postipakettia Karhu Murhiselle.\r\n\r\nJuuri tästä olemattoman pienestä, harmittomasta tapahtumasta alkaa seikkailujen seikkailu, jossa Maukka ja Väykkä tutustuvat Karhu Murhiseen ja tämän juonittelevaan Seitikki-siskoon. Pian seikkailu muuttuu hurjaksi aarrejahdiksi, johon lopulta sotkeutuu koko kylä.
