Luento lähestyy keskiajan elämää tavallisen talonpojan näkökulmasta Kyrön pitäjän alueella. Luennolla tutustutaan muun muassa Kyröskankaan maantiehen, Isonkyrön kirkkoon ja Korsholman linnaan. Lisäksi katse käännetään vanhempaan historiaan ja sivutaan Kauhavan alueen pronssikautisia hautaröykkiöitä. Luennoitsija arkeologi ja tietokirjailija Ilari Aalto.
