LA 23.5. HERKKUBRUNSSI
Yksi kierros kuulostaa hyvältä suunnitelmalta… Alkuun.
Herkkubrunssi on tehty niille, jotka eivät halua valita vain yhtä suosikkia. Lautaselle otetaan vähän kaikkea, sitten vähän lisää ja lopuksi vielä “ihan pieni kierros”. Tunnelma on rento, pöytä täynnä herkkuja ja viikonloppu juuri sellainen kuin sen kuuluukin olla.
\nTäällä ei kiirehditä eikä lasketa annoksia. Täällä nautitaan hyvästä ruoasta, hyvästä seurasta ja siitä hetkestä, kun huomaa olevansa aivan liian täynnä… mutta hakee silti jälkiruokaa.
\nKerää ystävät kasaan, varaa pöytä ja tule viettämään lauantai, joka maistuu viikonlopulta.

\nLotta Svärd -lehti oli vuonna 1921 perustetun Lotta Svärd -järjestön järjestölehti, jota lukivat pääasiallisesti lotat itse. Lehti perustettiin vuonna 1929 ja se ilmestyi aina järjestön lakkauttamiseen vuoteen 1944 saakka. Kaikki tiedämme, että mm. talvisodan aikana rintamalle lähetettiin kymmeniä tuhansia sukkapareja, mutta millaisia käsityöohjeita lotille annettiin oman järjestölehden kautta ja mitä voimme päätellä noista ohjeista?

\nLotta Svärd- ja suojeluskuntajärjestöjen rinnalla toimi 1920-luvun lopulta lähtien myös erilliset nuoriso-osastot. Niiden tarkoituksena oli tarjota nuorille sopivaa maanpuolustustoimintaa sekä kasvattaa uusia jäseniä aikuisjärjestöihin. Sotien aikana pikkulotista ja sotilaspojista tuli merkittävä osa kotirintaman puolustustaistelua.
