Aiemmin järjestettäväksi suunniteltu perinteinen rataohjelma kisoineen jää valitettavasti toteutumatta tänä vuonna lajin jo aiemmin sovitun SM-kisaohjelman vuoksi, mutta ensi vuonna Seinäjoen Vauhtiajot nähdään jälleen koko komeudessaan.

Koska tapahtuman pituus muuttui, aiemmin kolmen päivän lippunsa ostaneilla on mahdollisuus lunastaa tapahtuman passipisteeltä hyvitykseksi juomalippuja. Ennakkoon 2021 normaalin pääsylipun tai guest-lipun ostaneet voivat lunastaa yhden juomalipun, gold-lipun ostaneet kaksi juomalippua.

Torstaina 10.6. Keskustorilla laitetaan jalkapallo pyörimään! Kotimainen jalkapallokausi on pyörähtänyt reippaasti käyntiin ja jalkapallon em-kisat ovat ovella. Kello 15 käynnistyvän futisaiheisen toritorstain ohjelmassa on mm. kaikenkattava ja hyvillä palkinnoilla varustettu futis-tietovisa, Toritorstain EM-kisaveikkaus sekä hyväntekeväisyysjoukkue Apollon masinoima pomputtelukisa sekä Halla Esportsin järjestämä FIFA21-turnaus. Kaikissa kisoissa luvassa upeita tuotepalkintoja.

Samana torstaina OmaSP-Stadionilla kohtaavat mielenkiintoisessa Veikkausliigaottelussa SJK ja Kuopion Palloseura. Illan ottelua ennakoidaan torilla sekä SJK:n että vierasjoukkue Kupsin lähtökohdista. Matkan torilta illan matsiin voi taittaa esim. SJK:n komealla tapahtumabussilla.

Teatteri Hysterian kesätuotanto, koko perheen näytelmä, Sinikka ja Tiina Nopolan Heinähattu, Vilttitossu ja Littoisten riiviö tarjoilee Piirin alueella värikkään version tutusta lastenkirjallisuuden helmestä.

Sisarukset Heinähattu ja Vilttitossu päätyvät yhdessä vanhempiensa Hannan ja Matin, naapurin Alibullenin neitien, sekä kylän poliisien Rillirouskun ja Isonavan kanssa mitä ihmeellisimpiin tilanteisiin. Kun Heinähattu ja Vilttitossu riitaantuvat kesken kesäisen päivän, Heinähattu päättää lopettaa puhumisen kokonaan. Silloin tarvitaan kaikkien apua. Voisiko apu löytyä naapurin neitien herkkupöydän ääreltä tai poliisin ihmissuhdeoppaasta? Kuka vie voiton urheilukilpailuissa? Mitä kummaa puuhataan taikinaterapiassa? Ja ennen kaikkea, kuka kumma on mystinen Littoisten riiviö, joka kasteli konstaapeli Rillirouskun vesi-ilmapallolla?

Liikenne- ja fiilispuistossa mukavaa ohjelmaa lapsille ja perheille. Juhlapuheet ja muistelut aloittavat päivän klo 12. Liikuntapalveluiden ohjattu liikunnallinen hetki koko perheelle klo 13. Koko päivän ohjelmassa ovat kepparirata (radan suorittajat voivat osallistua käsintehdyn kepparin arvontaan), aika-ajat radio-ohjattavilla autoilla, onnenpyörä, askartelua ja kasvomaalausta. Paikalla myös nuorisobussi ja fiilispuiston aktiviteetit käytössä. Sofia`s kahvila-kioski palvelee tapahtuman ajan. Tapahtumapäivä on kaikille avoin ja maksuton. Tervetuloa!

Selmu ry:n Toritorstait tuovat Seinäjoen Keskustorille viikottaista ohjelmaa eri teemoilla koko kesän ajan! Ensimmäinen Toritorstai vietetään Kulttuuripäivän merkeissä 3.6. klo 12-16.

Tero Hautamäen (Epari) johdolla otetaan katsaus Seinäjoen kesän kulttuuritarjontaan. Paikalle saapuvat kertomaan tulevasta mm. Milla Hautala (Seinäjoen kaupunginteatteri) ja Pasi Ojala (Tangomarkkinat). Lavalla nähdään myös kesäteattereiden toimesta maistiaisia kesän ohjelmistosta.

Radical Light on immersiivinen tilallinen valo-, ja ääni-installaatio, joka tutkii tilan havaitsemisen käsitteitä ja valoa, väriä ja ääntä kognitiivisen järjestelmämme kautta. Kokemukselliseen installaatioon liittyy arvostetun säveltäjän JG Thirlwellin ympäröivä ääretön äänisävellys. Radical Light nähdään ensi kertaa Suomessa.

“Neonin konsepti koetaan aineena ja eetterinä, koska lasiputkien sisältämät jalokaasut lähettävät sähköisiä sykkeitä ja aaltomuotoja esteettisen kokemuksen kautta. Arkipäiväisessä elämässä meihin kohdistuu kaikenlaisia teknisiä laitteita ja digitaalisia esityksiä, vaikka itse koen, että ihmiskehon, silmien ja mielen kannalta olisi paljon luonnollisempaa kokea valon ja värien aistimuksia taiteenmuotona neonin kautta. Me ihmisinä koemme alkeellista ja vaistomaista vetoa neoniin\", Anne Katrine Senstad kertoo.

Anne Katrine Senstad on norjalainen kuvataiteilija. Senstadin taiteellinen tuotanto liikkuu installaatioiden, valokuvan, videon, neonvaloveistosten, immersiivisyyden ja paikkasidonnaisen taiteen alueilla. Hän on erityisen kiinnostunut havainnosta ilmiönä ja valon, äänen ja värin suhteesta ihmisen kognitiiviseen järjestelmään. Tekstipohjaisissa teoksissaan hän sivuaa dialektiikkaa, kirjallisuutta, kieltä ja filosofiaa.

\n

Hänen teoksiaan on ollut esillä Centre Pompidoussa Pariisissa, Haus Der Kultur Der Weltissä Berliinissä, Beirutin taidekeskuksessa sekä useissa muissa taidemuseoissa ja näyttelytiloissa ympäri maailman. Hänen teoksiaan on useissa kaupallisissa, yksityisissä ja museokokoelmissa.

Näyttely järjestetään tallinnalaisen Kai Kunstikeskuksen kanssa. Näyttelyn toteutumista on tukenut Taiteen edistämiskeskus.
