Tapahtuma tarjoaa perheystävällistä ohjelmaa ja viihdettä kartanon puistossa klo 11–15. Mukana on useita toimijoita, organisaatioita ja harrastusryhmiä omilla pisteillään. Ohjelmassa on muun muassa perinteinen lipunnosto klo 12, lasten aarteenetsintä, liikunta- ja leikkipisteitä, karaokea, tanssia sekä mahdollisuus saada karikatyyri muistoksi. Lasten aarteenetsintäpeli on toteutettu suomeksi, englanniksi ja ukrainaksi.

Seinäjoen kaupungin infopiste sijaitsee kartanon terassilla, ja kartanon flyygelisaliin pääsee tutustumaan erillisen aikataulun mukaisesti. Perinteinen lipunnosto järjestetään klo 12.

Mukana olevia toimijoita:

Ulkokahvilan teltassa on asiakaspaikkoja ja puistoalueella on jonkin verran piknik-pöytiä, mutta tapahtuman luonteeseen kuuluu omatoimisuus – kävijöitä kehotetaan ottamaan mukaan omat säänmukaiset nurmikolle aseteltavat piknikvarusteet.

Kartanon vierasvessat ovat avoinna tapahtuman ajan. Pysäköintitilaa on runsaasti Kivinavetan takana, kesäteatterin pysäköintialueella sekä Törnävän kentällä. Kartanon piha- ja puistoalueet eivät ole pysäköintikäytössä, ja kävijöitä suositellaan saapumaan ensisijaisesti kävellen tai pyörällä.

Opiskelijat mukana kehittämässä toimintaa

\n

SeAMK:n opiskelijat osallistuvat tapahtuman ideointiin ja toteutukseen, ja opiskelijoille on tarjolla vapaaehtoistehtäviä (ruokailumahdollisuus). Törnävän kartanon vapputapahtumasta voivat opiskelijat käydä hakemassa Seinäjoen kaupungin haalarimerkin, niitä jaetaan kaupungin infopisteessä.

Lähtö kaupungintalon edustalta klo 10.00. Keskustorilla klo 10.15 lahjakkaiden nuorten Saaga Timosen ja Julius Korven laulutervehdykset, säestää Anna Pellikka. Kävely jatkuu Seinäjoen rantaan ja Uimahalli-urheilutalon kohdalta takaisin torille (n. 3 km). Tule mukaan vahvistamaan uutta Wappuperinnettä! Kesäkuussa 2026 Seinäjoen taidehallilla avautuu Erich Bergerin kuratoima Ajan saastuminen -ryhmänäyttely. Näyttely esittelee maalausta, mediataidetta ja installaatioita yhdeksältä taiteilijalta tai taiteilijaryhmältä.

\n

Näyttelyn teokset kertovat tarinoita kaukaisista tähdistä ja hitaasti aikojen saatossa muotoutuneista maisemista. Teokset kurottavat tulevaisuuteen, aikaan, jolloin elämän päättyminen on vääjäämätöntä.

\n

Ajan saastuminen kutsuu sinut matkalle, joka ravistelee vallitsevaa aikakäsitystä

\n

Näyttely perustuu ajatukseen siitä, että tulevaisuus ei ole meistä erillinen kiintopiste. Se muovautuu jatkuvasti nykyhetkestä käsin. Kaikki mitä tulee tapahtumaan, on nykyhetken saastuttamaa.

\n

Ajan saastuminen muistuttaa meitä, että maailmamme ei ole ainoastaan geologisten, ekologisten tai kosmisten voimien summa. Sen muotoutumiseen vaikuttavat meidän omat valintamme, käytöksemme ja kuvitelmamme. Teokset kutsuvat meitä tarkastelemaan aikaa ja vaikutusvaltaamme siihen.

\n

Näyttelyn taiteilijat käsittelevät ajan moniulotteisuutta. Teokset osoittavat sen, miten syvä menneisyys ja tulevaisuus vaikuttavat huomaamatta jokapäiväiseen elämäämme.

\n

Näyttely kannustaa yleisöä pohtimaan, miten omat teot vaikuttavat tulevaisuuteen. Kuvittelemme jatkuvasti erilaisia maailmanloppuja. Miksi emme voisi myös kuvitella sellaista maailmaa, jossa toivomme elävämme?

In June 2026, Kunsthalle Seinäjoki will open The Contamination of Time, a group exhibition curated by Erich Berger. The Contamination of Time displays works that tell stories of distant stars, the slow formation of landscapes and the inevitable end of life in a deep future.

\n

In The Contamination of Time, you are invited to embark on a journey that unsettles familiar notions of time. At the heart of the exhibition lies the acknowledgment that the future is not a distant, fixed horizon but shaped in and by the present. What is to come is always already contaminated by what is at hand.

\n

The artworks within The Contamination of Time remind us that we inhabit a world shaped not only by geological, ecological, and cosmic forces, but also by our own decisions, behaviour, and imaginaries. They call for attentiveness to time and our capacity to respond.

\n

The exhibition encourages visitors to reflect on how their actions are entangled with time and their environment, and to recognize their agency in shaping futures. If we can imagine countless catastrophes and the end of the world, why shouldn’t we also imagine a world we wish to live in?

Erich Berger is a curator, artist, and researcher based in Helsinki. He works at the University of Oulu in Finland, where he studies art that responds to the current environmental conditions through the lens of anthropology, geology and art.

The exhibition opening will be held in conjunction with Kalevan Navetta’s Summer day on June 12, 2026.

Kun yksi koomikko ei riitä ja kaksi on vasta alkulämmittelyä, lavalle marssitaan koko show’n voimin: Fathi Ahmed, Arimo Raitala ja Mikko Vaismaa!

Kolme Suomen kovinta nimeä nähdään nyt yhdessä OmaSp Stadionilla 25.4.2026.

\n

Fathi Ahmed on tv:stäkin tuttu koko Suomen tuntema koomikko, jonka huumori on henkilökohtaista ja absurdia, mutta perustuu aina aitoon havaintoon. Fathin komediatyyli on kerännyt useita palkintoja alalla.

\n

Myös kaksi vuosikymmentä keikkaillut kokenut konkari Arimo Mustonen nähdään mukana. Arimo tunnetaan erityisesti Nelosen Stand Up -ohjelmasta, jossa hän on esiintynyt jokaisella kaudella.

\n

Alun perin Kurikasta kotoisin oleva Mikko Vaismaa palaa lakeuksille ja hänet tunnetaankin improvisoinnin mestarina joka kohtaa ja yllättää yleisönsä ilta toisensa jälkeen. Jokainen Mikko Vaismaan esitys on yleisönsä näköinen.

Viime vuonna suuren suosion saavuttanut tapahtuma järjestetään uudelleen. Luvassa on jälleen monipuolista, iloista ohjelmaa, herkkuja ja livemusiikkia. Ohjelma on pääsääntöisesti maksutonta.

Vanhempaintoimikunnan grilli-kioski-kahvila palvelee tapahtuman ajan. Myynnissä mm. kahvia, munkkeja, makkaraa, lättyjä ja kioskiherkkuja.

Arpajaisissa jälleen loistavia palkintoja yhteistyökumppaneiltamme! Pääpalkintona perhelippu Supersunnuntai-perhefestivaalille, joka järjestetään 19.7. Seinäjoella. Tapahtumassa esiintyvät mm.: KAJ, Hugo, Ares, Cledos, Minttu ja Sara Siipola.

Saapuminen: Vappuetkot järjestetään Kertunlaakson koulun piha-alueella, os. Kertunlaaksontie 40. Aikataulutettu ohjelma koulun liikuntasalissa, johon ohjattu sisäänkäynti sisäpihan puolelta. Koulun ja päiväkodin pysäköintialueet eivät ole tapahtuman aikana käytössä, sen sijaan urheilukentän edestä löytyy parkkitilaa.

Vanhanajan tunnelmaa, livemusiikkia ja tanssin iloa – nyt stadionilla!

Inspiraationa tapahtumalle toimii suosittu tv-ohjelma Kesäillan valssi, jota juonsi alusta alkaen Sari Tamminen yhdessä Janne Katajan kanssa. Kun idea esitettiin Jannelle, ei mennyt kauaa, kun myös Sari oli mukana ja tapahtuma alkoi muotoutua!
