Pekka Ruuska puhaltaa pölyt kitaralaukun päältä – lähes kolme vuosikymmentä äärimmäisen säästeliäästi esiintynyt laulaja ja lauluntekijä Pekka Ruuska palasi estradeille vuonna 2024.
\n\n”Kun sain levytuottajan työni päätökseen vuoden -23 lopussa, halusin heti alkaa musisoida taas itse. Ja ah, miten hyvältä se tuntuikaan”, intoilee Ruuska.
\n\n”Yllättävän moni vanhoista lauluistani on tuotavissa yleisön eteen vielä tänäkin päivänä. Sovitan niitä uusiksi, ja etsimme uutta kulmaa kertoa näitä tarinoita kolme vuosikymmentä vanhempana.
Lisäksi haluan liittää keikkoihin poimintoja suomalaisesta lauluaarteistosta, en tarkkaan tiedä vielä mitä, mutta tämä ajatus sytyttää kovasti. Tähän asti olen laulanut vain omia laulujani.
On myös virkistävää kasata ohjelmistoa vailla hittipaineita. Toisin kuin levytuottajana, voin ajatella pelkästään laulujen sisältöä ja niitä teemoja, joiden ympärille haluan konsertin rakentaa.
Tavoitteena on, että kuulija lähtee keikalta kohottautuneena ja kosketettuna, hyvän hetken kokeneena.”
