\nEsityksemme ”H.E.L.L.O. – ja kaikki meni päin helvettiä, eikä se ollut vahinko” on yhteiskunnallinen näyttämöteos nuoruudesta, mielenterveydestä ja järjestelmistä, joiden tehtävänä on auttaa (mutta jotka monesti eksyvät omiin rakenneviidakkoihinsa) . Teos liikkuu mustan huumorin, absurdin ja raadollisen inhimillisyyden rajapinnoilla, ja tarkastelee, mitä tapahtuu, kun hyvinvointi mitataan lomakkeilla ja kohtaaminen jää sivurooliin. H.E.L.L.O! ei tarjoa helppoja vastauksia, vaan kutsuu katsojan kokemaan, kuuntelemaan ja katsomaan toisia hieman tarkemmin. Esityksen takana on paikallinen nuorista aikuisista koostuva Oikeesti Aikuisten Viihdeteatteri, joka sai viime syksynä Vuoden lappilainen harrastajateatteriteko-palkinnon.

\nThis event is part of the Finnish Outdoor Association's (Suomen Latu) Sleep a Night Outdoors weekend, encouraging everyone to enjoy nature and the outdoors.
\nCelebrate the beauty of late summer at Käpälikön Luontopäivä (Nature Day at Käpälikkö), where visitors of all ages can explore nature, enjoy fun outdoor activities and experience the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.
\nSet on the shores of Kyrkösjärvi (Lake Kyrkösjärvi), the surrounding nature reveals its finest qualities: the scent of the forest blends with the warmth of the sun, while the shimmering lake creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.
\nThis free event offers a wide variety of nature-themed activities for all ages. Fishing and learning about the fish species of Kyrkösjärvi provide a unique opportunity to discover new skills together.
\nChildren will enjoy exploring the accessible Oravapolku Nature Trail (Squirrel Nature Trail), searching for woodland animal figures and taking part in nature-inspired games.
\nDuring the day you can observe live crayfish, discover the fish of Kyrkösjärvi in the aquarium, receive guidance on lure fishing and traditional angling, and join a guided mushroom foraging walk in the nearby forest.
\nYou are also invited to discover Seinäjoki's Health Forest (Terveysmetsä) and experience how nearby nature supports wellbeing and helps people recover from the demands of everyday life.
\nVisitors of all ages will find enjoyable activities throughout the day, and delicious refreshments will be available from Kyrkkis-kioski (Kyrkkis Kiosk) and Sirius kota (Sirius Wilderness Hut).
\nThe event offers families a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together in nature and may even inspire new outdoor hobbies.

Tämä on teos, joka saa sinut hyppimään ilosta! Lapsille (3+) suunnattu interaktiivinen tanssiesitys kutsuu kokemaan liikkeen iloa ja voimaa! Esityksen ytimessä on suuri valkoinen pomppulinna, joka avautuu edessämme ja josta tulee kollektiivinen ilon ja onnellisuuden tila. Esitys on maksuton.

Taidelainaamon pienoisnäyttelyn nimi on Enso. Enso on eräänlainen henkinen piirrosharjoitus. Se voidaan piirtää millä tahansa välineillä. Vieraile lainaamossa, tutustu näyttelyyn, tapaa kuukauden taiteilija Seppo Tanninen ja piirrä ilmaan tai paperille enso!
Klo 17–18 Soiva luento: Sydämen kertomukset – vanhaa musiikkia tekstin inspiroimana
Pedatila Itikka, 2. krs
Runouden ja musiikin kiehtova suhde eli kukoistuskauttaan barokin aikakautena, jolloin sanat ja sävelet olivat erottamattomia. Soivalla luennolla barokkisellisti Tähti Oksanen avaa, kuinka musiikki kietoutuu tekstin ympärille 1600–1700-luvuilla. Tekstin ja musiikin suhdetta pohditaan sonettien, napolilaisen barokkilaulun ja Bachin hengellisen ja maallisen musiikin avulla.
Tähti Oksanen on tamperelainen barokkisellisti, viola da gambisti ja musiikkipedagogi, joka viimeistelee parhaillaan opintojaan Sibelius-Akatemian vanhan musiikin linjalla. Hän on aktiivinen kamarimuusikko ja kuuluu Pirkanmaan Barokin yhtyeen perustajajäseniin.

Omatoimisessa tarratyöpajassa voit suunnitella ja tehdä oman tarran. Voit hakea inspiraatiota juuri avatusta J.P Köykän Muodon perintö -näyttelystä tai suunnitella itsellesi juuri sellaisen tarran mitä haluat. Voit myös jättää tarramuotoisen vieraskirjatervehdyksesi kollektiiviseen näyttelyvieraskirjaan
Klo 18 & 19 Syysmetsän tähtipolku -nukketeatteriesitys
Kammio, 1. krs
Esitys kertoo tarinan metsäneläinten retkestä läpi syksyisen metsän. Kesken lehtikasa hyppelyiden he kohtaavat uusia tuttavuuksia, jotka ovat hyvin pieniä ja hyvin ujoja – sekä hyvin hohtavia. Yllättäen metsän ylle laskeutuukin syysyön samettinen pimeys, koti on kaukana ja juuri kun ystävykset luulevat olevansa pahasti eksyksissä, he huomaavat miten kotiin johdattaa tähtipolku.
Tarina käsittelee rohkeutta, ystävyyttä, vähän pelkoja ja unelmien tavoittelemisen tärkeyttä. Tekniikkana nähdään nukketeatterin lisäksi varjoteatteria. Yhden esityksen kesto on 30 minuuttia ja se sopii koko perheelle.

\nKlo 18–22 Avoimet näyttelyavajaiset: JP Köykkä: Muodon perintö
Näyttelytila Vintti, 3. krs
Muodon perintö -näyttelyn avoimia avajaisia vietetään Vintillä. Köykän yksityisnäyttely esittelee uusia suurikokoisia maalauksia, installaation ja videoita. Näyttelyssä raja maalauksen ja tilan arkkitehtuurin välillä hämärtyy. Köykkä tutkii teoksissaan sitä, mistä hänen visuaalinen perintönsä koostuu. Maalaus voi periä menneisyyden muodon.
Voit tulla yksin tai ystävien kanssa pidemmäksi aikaa, tai vaikka vain piipahtamaan hetkeksi. Tule viettämään rento perjantai-ilta taiteen parissa ilman, että tarvitset aiempaa kokemusta taidenäyttelyiden avajaisista. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!

Näyttelytila Vintti, 3. krs
Heikki Hautala on laulaja-lauluntekijä sekä kitaristi, joka tunnetaan yhteiskunnallisesti kantaa ottavista sanoituksistaan sekä rockin, punkin ja folkin vaikutteita yhdistelevästä musiikistaan. Hänet tunnetaan erityisesti Sokea piste -yhtyeestä ja soolotuotannostaan. Hautala on myös ammatiltaan kuvataiteilija. Taidehallissa kuullaan uutta materiaalia, joka pohjaa maalailevaan, vellovaan ja maisemalliseen sähkökitarointiin, looppeihin, lauluun ja raituriäänityksiin.

ÄMMÄT! on rohkeiden laulajien yhtye, joka ei mahdu muiden tekemiin muotteihin. ÄMMÄT! haluavat herättää tunteita, pitää hauskaa ja valloittaa kuulijat itseironisilla ja energisillä esiintymisellä.

Eteläpohjalainen countryprojekti tuo Kalevan Navetalle menevää bluegrassia ja modernimpaa countrya mm. The Chicks -yhtyeeltä. Yhtyeen solistina toimii Voice of Finlandissa hienosti menestynyt Anne Vihelä ja muusikoina kuullaan Etelä-Pohjanmaan kuumimpia countrytaitajia; Piia Kleemola (viulu ja laulu), Juha Kullas (mandoliini, kitara, dobro), Timo Kiprianoff (banjo, kitara) sekä Esa Korja (kontrabasso).
Seinäjoki’s own city event Ilmiöiden yö (Night of Phenomena) will be held on Friday, September 4, 2026. You can experience a multidisciplinary cultural program throughout the city and Kalevan Navetta is one of the many venues 🦉

The name of Arthoteque's mini-exhibition is Enso. Enso is a kind of mental drawing exercise. It can be drawn with any materials. Explore the exhibition, meet this month’s featured artist Seppo Tanninen, and draw an enso in the air or on paper!
17:00–18:00 Musical Lecture: Stories from the Heart—Early Music Inspired by Text

The fascinating relationship between poetry and music flourished during the Baroque era, when words and melodies were inseparable. In this musical lecture, Baroque cellist Tähti Oksanen explores how music intertwined with text in the 1600s and 1700s. The relationship between text and music will be examined through sonnets, Neapolitan Baroque songs, and Bach’s sacred and secular music.

In this self-guided workshop, you can design and make your own sticker. You can draw inspiration from the recently opened J.P. Köykkä: Forms of Heritage -exhibition or design any kind of sticker you want. You can also leave a sticker-style message in the collective exhibition guestbook

Vintti Exhibition Space, 3rd floor
The open opening for the exhibition Forms of Heritage will be held at Exhibition Space Vintti. Köykkä’s solo exhibition features new large-scale paintings, an installation, and videos. In the exhibition, the boundary between painting and the architecture of the space becomes blurred. In his works, Köykkä explores what constitutes his visual heritage. A painting can inherit the form of the past.
You’re welcome to come alone or with friends for a longer visit, or even just to pop in for a moment. Come spend a relaxed Friday evening surrounded by art—no prior experience with art exhibition openings is necessary. A warm welcome to all!
\n\n\n18:00 & 19:00 Puppet show: The Star Trail of the Autumn Forest
Kammio, 1st Floor
The show tells the story of a group of forest animals on an adventure through the autumn forest. As they hop through piles of leaves, they meet some new friends who are very small and very shy—and very sparkly. Suddenly, the velvety darkness of an autumn night descends upon the forest; home is far away, and just as the friends think they are hopelessly lost, they realize that the Star Trail leads them home.
The story explores courage, friendship, a little bit of fear, and the importance of pursuing one’s dreams. In addition to puppet theater, the production features shadow theater. Each performance is in Finnish language and lasts 30 minutes. Suitable for the whole family.

Heikki Hautala is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his socially conscious lyrics and his music, which blends influences from rock, punk, and folk. He is best known for the band Sokea piste and his solo work. Hautala is also a visual artist by profession.

The South Ostrobothnian Country Project brings bluegrass and more modern country music—including songs by The Chicks—to Kalevan Navetta. The band’s lead vocalist is Anne Vihelä, who enjoyed great success on The Voice of Finland, and the musicians include some of South Ostrobothnia’s hottest country talents: Piia Kleemola (violin and vocals), Juha Kullas (mandolin, guitar, dobro), Timo Kiprianoff (banjo, guitar), and Esa Korja (double bass).
