Lakeuksien lukko (1951) on Matti Kassilan ohjaama draama, joka perustuu Artturi Leinosen samannimiseen romaaniin.
\nElokuva sijoittuu Pohjanmaalle vuoteen 1859. Tarinan keskiössä on itsepäinen talollinen Tuomas Kantola (Aku Korhonen), joka vastustaa vaikutusvaltaista Lohikosken patruuna Adleria (Sven Relander). Kantola on kylän ainoa talonpoika, joka ei suostu myymään maitaan patruunalle. Vastakkainasettelu kärjistyy, kun Kantola ryhtyy rakentamaan patoa vastalauseena Adlerin johtamalle suonkuivaushankkeelle.
\nSamaan aikaan syntyy nuorten rakkaustarina: patruunan ylioppilaspoika Harri (Matti Oravisto) ja Kantolan tytär Annika (Eija Inkeri) rakastuvat toisiinsa. Suhde kohtaa kuitenkin voimakasta vastustusta sekä heidän isiensä että Annikan entisen sulhasen, Tuomaksen (Heikki Savolainen), taholta.
\nJos saavut Törnävälle autolla, sen voi jättää esim. Kivinavetan tai kesäteatterin parkkipaikalle; kartanon edustalle ei ole mahdollista pysäköidä.

\n\nAlkeisjaksomme on noin 1,5kk kestävä jakso, jolla opit rullaluistelun perusteet ja saat lempeän johdatuksen roller derbyn maailmaan. Treenit ovat kaksi kertaa viikossa; perjantaina klo 19-20:15 ja sunnuntaina klo 16:30-18.
\n\nHarrastuksen aloittaaksesi sinulla ei tarvitse olla mitään kokemusta liikkumisesta, tai voit olla jo kovakin liikkuja! Mikäli et pääse jokaiselle kerralle mukaan, ei sekään ole este. Jokainen luistelija kehittyy omassa tahdissaan ja saa yksilöllisen ohjauksen ja tuen tarpeidensa mukaan. Harrastus sopii sukupuolesta riippumatta kaikille 16 vuoden iästä alkaen. Seurallamme on varusteita yleisimmissä koissa, joita aloittavat harrastajat saavat lainata maksutta. Lainavarusteitamme hyödyntämällä harrastuksen kokeileminen on helppoa 🛼

Vuonna 2026 Peer Günt viettää 50-vuotisjuhlavuottaan! Näin kitaristi-laulaja Timo Nikki kertoi 50th Anniversary Tourin keikoista: ”Fiilikset on hyvät ja ollaan valmiit panemaan kaikkemme peliin, jotta jengi saa vastinetta ostamalleen lipulle. Keskitytään triobändin vahvuuksiin, eli pelkästään musiikkiin – kuten aina ennenkin – eli mitään sirkustemppuja ei ole odotettavissa. Keikoilla esitetään Peer Güntin musiikkia alusta tähän päivään. Tämä on paitsi yhtyeemme 50-vuotisjuhlavuosi myös mun, Saken ja Peten 20-vuotisjuhlarundi.”

Vuonna 2023 perustettu BlindBoünd tuo yhteen alternative-metallin ja old school -rockin ytimen.
Säröinen basso murisee, kitara rakentaa koukuttavia melodioita ja rummut iskevät primitiivisellä voimalla. Soundi on raskas, nopea, likainen ja vaarallinen – mutta samalla yllättävän melodinen ja groovaava. Blindboünd ei selitä - se tuntuu.

Yksi Suomen palkituimmista lauluntekijöistä tekee tunnelmallisen konserttikiertueen, jossa hän esittää kirjoittamiaan kappaleita. Ohjelmistoon mahtuu niin omia kuin toisten levyttämiä lauluja.

\nMiB Etelä-Pohjanmaan tapahtumassa rekrytoinnin ja työnhaun ammattilainen Nina Rostedt kertoo, mitä rekrytoija etsii CVstä ja hakemuksesta ja miten oma osaaminen kannattaa sanoittaa vakuuttavasti.
\nLuennolla saat käytännön vinkkejä siihen, miten: tuot CVssä esiin vahvuutesi ja saavutuksesi rakennat kiinnostavan ja kohdennetun hakemuksen sanoitat osaamisesi konkreettisten tulosten ja esimerkkien avulla kerrot perhevapaasta, alanvaihdosta tai muista uran muutoksista itsevarmasti vältät yleisimmät virheet, joiden vuoksi hyväkin osaaja voi jäädä työnhaussa näkymättömäksi. Tapahtuma sopii aktiivisesti työtä hakeville, perhevapaalta palaaville, alanvaihtoa suunnitteleville sekä seuraavaa urasiirtoa pohtiville.
\nNina Rostedt työskentelee rekrytoinnin, työnhaun ja osaamisen sanoittamisen parissa. Hän tuntee työnhaun sekä työnhakijan että rekrytoijan näkökulmasta ja tarjoaa käytännönläheisiä neuvoja, joita voit hyödyntää suoraan omassa työnhaussasi.

\nSyvä aika viittaa maapallon hitaiden geologisten prosessien aikaskaalaa miljoonissa vuosissa, kuten mantereiden liikkeisiin ja vuorijonojen muodostumiseen. Koska ihmisen toiminnan ajatellaan jättävän pysyviä jälkiä tulevaisuuden geologisiin kerrostumiin, ihmiskuntaa pidetään nykyisin geologisena voimana. Vaikka syvää aikaa tutkitaan tieteen keinoin, se on myös inspiroinut taiteilijoita tarkastelemaan ajallisia ulottuvuuksia, jotka ylittävät arkisen ajantajumme.
\n<h3>Ajan saastuminen</h3>
\nSeinäjoen taidehallin Ajan saastuminen -näyttelyn teoksista inspiroitunut luento pohtii, miten taide voi auttaa meitä hahmottamaan ajan valtavuutta ja löytämään oman paikkamme syvän ajan mittakaavassa. Luennoitsija on Ajan saastuminen -näyttelyn kuraattori Erich Berger. Ajan saastuminen -ryhmänäyttely esittelee maalausta, mediataidetta ja installaatioita yhdeksältä taiteilijalta tai taiteilijaryhmältä. Näyttelyn teokset kertovat tarinoita kaukaisista tähdistä ja hitaasti aikojen saatossa muotoutuneista maisemista. Teokset kurottavat tulevaisuuteen, aikaan, jolloin elämän päättyminen on vääjäämätöntä. Näyttely on esillä 9.1.2027 saakka. Taiteilijat näyttelyssä ovat: Petri Ala-Maunus (FI), Laura Beloff (FI), Andy Gracie (UK/ES), Katri Naukkarinen (FI) ja Aurora Del Rio (IT), Elsa Salonen (FI), Emilia Tikka, Leena ja Oula A. \n<h3>Erich Berger</h3>
\nErich Berger on taiteilija, kuraattori ja tutkija. Berger kirjoittaa Oulun yliopistoon väitöstään, miten taiteilijat lähestyvät ihmiskeskeisen ajan ulkopuolisia ajallisuuksia yhdistämällä kulttuuriantropologiaa, geologiaa ja taidetta. Taiteellisessa työskentelyssään hän on tutkinut informaation materiaalisuutta sekä informaatiota ja teknologiaa taiteellisena materiaalina. Hänen nykyinen taiteellinen painopisteensä on syvässä ajassa ja hybridiekologiassa, mikä on johtanut hänet työskentelemään geologisten prosessien, radiogeenisten ilmiöiden ja niiden yhteiskunnallispoliittisten vaikutusten parissa. Berger on toiminut Laboural Centro de Arten kuraattorina Gijónissa, Espanjassa sekä Biotaiteen seuran toiminnanjohtajana Helsingissä. Hänen taidettaan on esitelty laajasti museoissa ja gallerioissa. Berger on kuratoinut Ajan saastuminen-ryhmänäyttelyn Seinäjoen taidehalliin.

\nAjankohtainen Navetta on Kalevan Navetan toimijoiden tapahtumakokonaisuus, jossa kuullaan puheenvuoroja ajankohtaisista teemoista ja ilmiöistä. Ajankohtaisessa Navetassa ääneen pääsevät eri alojen asiantuntijat. Art and Deep Time -luento tarjoaa yleisölle mahdollisuuden osallistua ajankohtaiseen taiteen ja tieteen väliseen keskusteluun sekä syventää ymmärrystä ihmisen roolista syvään aikaan.

\nDeep time refers to the time of planetary rhythms, such as the movements of continents or the rising of mountains, and is counted in millions of years. As it is said that human activity in the present will leave its traces in the rocks of the future, humanity is becoming a geological force. While this is researched by science, artists also explore temporalities that go beyond an everyday sense of time. Starting with the artworks in the exhibition The Contamination of Time at the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki, the presentation discusses how art can help us to make sense of the vastness of time and to find our place in deep time. The speaker is the curator of The Contamination of Time exhibition, Erich Berger.
\n<h3>The Contamination of Time</h3>
\nThe Contamination of Time displays works that tell stories of distant stars, the slow formation of landscapes and the inevitable end of life in a deep future. In The Contamination of Time, you are invited to embark on a journey that unsettles familiar notions of time. At the heart of the exhibition lies the acknowledgement that the future is not a distant, fixed horizon but shaped in and by the present. What is to come is always already contaminated by what is at hand. The exhibition is on display until 9th of January 2027. \n<h3>Erich Berger</h3>
\nErich Berger is an artist, curator, and researcher based in Helsinki. He currently works at the University of Oulu in Finland, where he conducts interdisciplinary research into how artists approach temporalities beyond human-centred time, combining cultural anthropology, geology and art. Throughout his artistic practice, he has explored the materiality of information, and information and technology as artistic material. His current artistic focus lies on issues of deep time and hybrid ecology which led him to work with geological processes, radiogenic phenomena, and their socio-political implications in the here and now. In his fieldwork-based practice, he carries out extensive work on natural radioactivity, potential uranium mining sites, and nuclear infrastructure in Finland and abroad. As curator he develops opportunities that create critical transdisciplinary encounters and work situations between professionals from art, natural science, technology and the humanities, recognizing science and technology as fundamental transformative powers of our life world. Berger has worked as chief curator for Laboral Centro de Arte in Gijon, Spain and as a director for The Bioart Society in Helsinki, Finland. \nAjankohtainen Navetta (Current Issues at Navetta) is a series of events organised by the Kaleva Navetta community, featuring presentations on current themes and phenomena. In “Current Issues at Navetta,” experts from various fields have the opportunity to speak about a specific issue to the public, and it often takes the form of a lecture. The Art and Deep Time lecture offers the opportunity to participate in the current dialogue between art and science and to foster an understanding of humanity’s role in deep time.
