Yhteisen projektin ideat ovat syntyneet pienistä arjen huomioista ja leikeistä. Kuvien suunnittelu on leikkien tarkkailua, seuraamista ja niihin osallistumista. Leikeistä syntyy ideoita, jotka isoäiti ja lapsenlapsi rakentavat yhdessä performatiivisiksi kuviksi.  Kuvien tekemisen metodina on yhdessä rakentaminen. Kameran laukaisinta painaa valokuvaaja, joskus kaukolaukaisin on lapsenlapsella. Sattumalla on aina osuutensa kuvien tekemisessä.</p>\n<p>Sydäntä kutittaa -valokuvasarja on autofiktiivinen kertomus, jossa sekoittuvat arki, leikit ja muistot. Mitä jälkiä jätämme ja kuinka kauan ne säilyvät muistoina matkassamme?</p>\n<p>Kuvat  ovat jatkumo kahdelle aiemmalle valokuvasarjalle. Ensimmäinen projekti oli Sunnuntaiaamu, joka kertoo hetkistä, jolloin viikonlopun yhdessäolo lapsen kanssa on päättymässä. Toinen projekti, Toisaalla, käsittelee isoisän ja lapsenlapsen suhdetta sekä heidän isiensä poissaoloa heidän elämässään.</p>\n<p>Ulla Heinonen on valokuvaaja, joka taltioi kohtaamisen hetkiä, ajan kulumista ja tunnelmia. Valokuvausprojektit etenevät kuvaamisen, kuvien katsomisen ja oivallusten tahtiin. Kesäkuvataiteilija kerää  kaavakkeella ohikulkijoilta vastauksia kysymykseen: Mikä aateloi  ihmisen? Kyselyyn voivat vastata kaikenikäiset joko kirjoittamalla tai  piirtämällä.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>“Keskustorilla  sijaitsevan Yrittäjä-Jussin laatassa lukeva motto “Työ aateloi ihmisen”  on ollut alun perin patsaan ideoineen kauppaneuvos Reino Saarisen  henkilökohtainen motto. Haluaisin kuulla kaupunkilaisten omia ajatuksia  siitä, mikä tekee ihmisestä arvokkaan. Kanssani saa myös tulle  juttelemaan ja jakamaan tarinoita Yrittäjä-Jussi patsaasta.  Kuuntelen  enemmän kuin mielelläni kaikkia mahdollisia muistoja patsaasta vuosien  varrelta, tai katson vaikka valokuvia!”</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Henri  Airo (s. 1996, Helsinki) on Seinäjoen kaupungin kahdeksas  Kesäkuvataiteilija. Airo toimii kesäkuvataiteilijana Seinäjoella 8.7.–  8.9.2024 välisenä aikana. Henri Airon taideprojekti tarkastelee  Seinäjoen Keskustorille siirretyn Yrittäjä-Jussi-patsaan (Matti  Peltokangas ja Aarne Hakala-Rahko, 1984) historiaa ja kaupunkilaisten  siihen yhdistämiä merkityksiä. Arkistotutkimuksesta, osallistavista  työpajoista ja patsaalla pidettävästä julkistustilaisuudesta koostuva  performatiivinen projekti kiinnittää huomiota ikoniseen maamerkkiin sen  40-vuotisjuhlan alla. Kesäkuvataiteilija tutkii Yrittäjä-Jussin kautta,  millaisia ihmiskuvia pidetään erityisen arvokkaina. Se kutsuu pohtimaan  patsaiden, juhlistamisen ja muistamisen merkitystä nyt ja  tulevaisuudessa.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Taideprojekti esillä</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kesän  päätteeksi Kesäkuvataiteilijan projektin yhteenveto esitetään Seinäjoen  taidehallin Itikka -tilassa Kalevan Navetalla. Avajaisia vietetään pe  6.9.2024 klo 17-22. Samaan aikaan kaupungilla vietetään uutta  kulttuuritapahtumaa Ilmiöiden yötä ja Seinäjoen taidehallissa vietetään  ruotsalaisen taiteilija Tove Kjellmarkin yksityisnäyttelyn  avajaistapahtumaa.  Henri Airon taideprojekti on esillä myös seuraavana  päivänä la 7.9. klo 11—15.  Vapaa pääsy.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Kesäkuvataiteilija–ohjelmasta</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Seinäjoen  kaupunki on palkannut vuodesta 2017 lähtien ammattitaiteilijan tai  kuvataiteen opiskelijan Kesäkuvataiteilijaksi. Kesäkuvataiteilija tekee  taiteellista työtä, joka jollain tavalla näkyy kaupunkilaisille tai  osallistaa heitä. Kesäkuvataiteilijan asemapaikka on Seinäjoen  taidehalli ja hänellä on käytössään Taidehallin ja kaupungin  kulttuuripalveluiden taustatuki.
