Musiikin ja musiikkitapahtumien ammattilais­tapahtuma MARS-festivaali järjestetään Seinäjoen Rytmikorjaamolla 15.–16.2.2024. MARS koostuu kahdesta seminaari­päivästä ja iltojen live­musiikki­ohjelmasta. Seminaariohjelma pitää sisällään paneeli­keskusteluja, keynote-puheen­vuoroja, haastatteluja, ajan­kohtaisia tutkimus­tuloksia, työpajoja ja verkostoitumis­mahdollisuuksia. Iltoihin sijoittuja Live on MARS -ohjelma tuo mukanaan Seinäjoelle monipuolisen kattauksen ajankohtaisia artisteja. Keikkapaikkoina toimivat Rytmikorjaamon lisäksi Apila-kirjasto, Bar 15 Basement, Kalevan Navetta ja Karma.

Kokoonnumme keskustelemaan ajankohtaisista aiheista, koulutuksista ja yhteistyön mahdollisuuksista. Tapaaminen järjestetään perjantaina 16.2.2024 Seinäjoella Taideyliopiston yksikössä Kalevan Navetassa. Tapaamiseen ovat tervetulleita kaikki kansanmusiikista ja -tanssista kiinnostuneet.

Tavoitteemme on vahvistaa kansanmusiikin, -tanssin ja -kulttuurin toimijoiden välisiä verkostoja yli kielirajojen. Tapahtuma on jatkoa syksyllä 2023 Lapväärtissä pidetylle kansanmusiikkikongressille.

Iltapäivä on varattu puheenvuoroille ja keskusteluille. Illalla pääsemme kuuntelemaan MARS-festivaalin yhteydessä järjestettävää liveohjelmaa, kun Polenta ja Vimma esiintyvät Kalevan Navetassa.

Cosmocon on Seinäjoella järjestettävä scifi- ja avaruusaiheinen con-tapahtuma. Tapahtuma järjestetään ensimmäistä kertaa 10.2.2024 Kalevan Navetalla. Ikärajattoman tapahtuman teemoja ovat yhteisöllisyys ja avoimuus.

Cosmocon kokoaa saman katon alle science fictionin ja siihen liittyvien populaarikulttuuri-ilmiöiden ystävät. Teemat tulevat näkymään paitsi ohjelmasisällössä, myös tapahtumapaikan miljöössä.

Perinteisten con-tapahtumien tavoin tapahtuman ohjelmaan sisältyy mm. taidekuja, myyntisali, cosplay-kilpailu, sekä muita kävijöitä osallistavia ohjelmanumeroita.

Taidehallin taidenäyttelyavajaiset ovat kaikille avoimia, maksuttomia tapahtumia, joissa pääset tutustumaan paitsi uuteen taidenäyttelyyn, myös taiteilijoihin ja muihin näyttelyiden tekijöihin. Avajaisiltojen yhteydessä järjestetään myös taide- ja kulttuurikeskus Kalevan Navetan tapahtumapäiviä, jolloin talo on täynnä monipuolista ohjelmaa talon eri toimijoilta.

Saapuminen Kalevan Navettaan

\n

Osoite: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.

Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. Avaa Kalevan Navetan pysäköintialueen kartta (PDF). Lähin yleinen pysäköintialue sijaitsee Maakunnankadulla noin 700 metrin päässä rakennuksesta. Vilkkaina tapahtumapäivinä suosittelemme käyttämään henkilöauton sijasta muita saapumisvaihtoehtoja tai pysäköimään auton tarvittaessa Maakunnankadun parkkialueelle.

SeAMKissa opiskelee noin 600 kansainvälistä opiskelijaa viidessä englanninkielisessä tutkinto-ohjelmassa: International Business, Automation Engineering, Nursing, Agri-food Engineering ja International Business Management (MBA). Näiden tutkinto-ohjelmien avulla pyrimme kouluttamaan tulevia asiantuntijoita alueemme yritysten ja organisaatioiden käyttöön. Opiskelijan ensimmäinen kontakti suomalaiseen työelämään toteutuu usein osa-aikatyön tai harjoittelun muodossa.

#yrityspalvelutEP -aamukaffit

Yrityksille suunnatut tiiviit tietoiskut eri aiheista liittyen yritysten kasvuun, kehittämiseen ja kansainvälistymiseen niin rahoitusten, palveluiden kuin työvoiman saatavuuden edistämisenkin näkökulmasta.

Virtuaalisia aamukaffi-tilaisuuksia järjestetään joka toisena keskiviikkona ja niissä nostetaan ajankohtaisia teemoja niin yrityspalvelukeskuksen toimijoilta (ELY-keskus, TE-palvelut, Business Finland) kuin muiltakin yrityspalvelutoimijoilta.

Tilaisuudet järjestetään yhteistyössä Etelä-Pohjanmaan ELY-keskuksen, Etelä-Pohjanmaan TE-toimiston, Business Finlandin, Finnveran, Uusyrityskeskus Neuvoa-Antavan, Etelä-Pohjanmaan Yrittäjien, Etelä-Pohjanmaan Kauppakamarin, eteläpohjalaisten Leadereiden, Sedun, Into Seinäjoen, Kauhavan Kehityskeskuksen, Etelä-Pohjanmaan Liiton ja muiden alueen yrityspalvelutoimijoiden kanssa.

Kansanperinnetapahtuma Kansallispuvut käyttöön! lauantaina 11.5.2024 Kalevan Navetassa.

Tapahtumassa nähdään muun muassa Nuorisoseuran upea kansallispukujen muotinäytös Hugo-salissa. Lisäksi esillä on eteläpohjalaisia kansallispukuja kokeiltavaksi asti sekä pop up-valokuvaus, jossa voi valokuvauttaa itsensä vaikka Härmän puku päällä. Pajakäytävälle tulee esille myös mielenkiintoinen kansallispukuihin liittyvä valokuvanäyttely sekä alueen pukuja. Taito Etelä-Pohjanmaa tuo tapahtumaan paljon toivotut perinnekurssit pirtanauhan valmistamisesta sekä työnäytökset. Kansalaisopistolta saamme erilaisia musiikkiesityksiä, esimerkiksi Seinäjoen Ukuleleorkesteri on mukana päivän aikana soittamassa niin ravintolassa kuin Hugo-salissakin. Tapahtuma on kaikille kävijöille ilmainen ja sen sisältö täydentyy vielä kevään aikana. Pue sinäkin kansallispukusi tai sen osa ylle ja tule nauttimaan yhteisestä kansanperinteestämme ja talon tunnelmasta!

Lumi tukkii ajotiet, koirat haukkuvat viiman keskellä ja jostain rakennuksen uumenista kajahtaa kirkaisu. Onko joku kartanon kahdeksasta naisesta kylmäverinen murhaaja - kenties perheen sydämellinen taloudenhoitaja tai pyörätuolissa kulkeva isoäiti, vaiko sittenkin dekkariromaaneja ahmiva teinityttö? Epäilysten kasvaessa jokainen yrittää epätoivoisesti ylläpitää elämänsä hapertuneita kulisseja, jotka kaatuvat yksi toisensa jälkeen...

Miltä kuulostaisi musta jännityskomedia tammikuun ratoksi? Loppiaislauantaina 6.1.2024 Seinäjoen Nuorisokeskuksella ensi-iltansa saa ranskalaiskirjailija Robert Thomas'n klassikkoteos Kahdeksan naista.

Näytelmän ohjaa draamapedagogi Johanna Huhtala ja rooleissa nähdään niin Arinan kokeneita esiintyjiä kuin uusia tulokkaitakin.

Näytelmä ei sovellu alle kouluikäisille, alle 12-vuotiaat vanhempien seurassa.

Lumi tukkii ajotiet, koirat haukkuvat viiman keskellä ja jostain rakennuksen uumenista kajahtaa kirkaisu. Onko joku kartanon kahdeksasta naisesta kylmäverinen murhaaja - kenties perheen sydämellinen taloudenhoitaja tai pyörätuolissa kulkeva isoäiti, vaiko sittenkin dekkariromaaneja ahmiva teinityttö? Epäilysten kasvaessa jokainen yrittää epätoivoisesti ylläpitää elämänsä hapertuneita kulisseja, jotka kaatuvat yksi toisensa jälkeen...

Miltä kuulostaisi musta jännityskomedia tammikuun ratoksi? Loppiaislauantaina 6.1.2024 Seinäjoen Nuorisokeskuksella ensi-iltansa saa ranskalaiskirjailija Robert Thomas'n klassikkoteos Kahdeksan naista.

Näytelmän ohjaa draamapedagogi Johanna Huhtala ja rooleissa nähdään niin Arinan kokeneita esiintyjiä kuin uusia tulokkaitakin.
