Suomalaisia on kehotettu varautumaan tulevana talvena mahdollisen sähköpulan aiheuttamiin sähkökatkoksiin. Suomen Pelastusalan Keskusjärjestön Vaasan toimisto toteuttaa yhteistyössä Vaasan, Seinäjoen ja Kokkolan kaupunkien ja niiden pelastuslaitosten kanssa kuntalaisille maksuttomia infotilaisuuksia.

Infotilaisuudet sähkökatkoihin varautumisesta järjestetään verkossa, joissa vastataan muun muassa kysymyksiin:

•                    Miten sähkökatkot vaikuttavat arkeeni? 

\n

•                    Miten kaupungeissa on varauduttu sähkönjakeluhäiriöihin? 

\n

•                    Miten itse varaudun sähkökatkoksiin?  

\n

\n

Tilaisuuksissa kuullaan katsaus siitä, miten Suomessa sähkönsaantia pyritään varmistamaan. Myös paikalliset sähköyhtiöt toimittavat lyhyen katsauksen siitä, voidaanko mahdollisista sähkökatkoksista varoittaa ajoissa. Paikallisista sähköyhtiön katsauksista vastaavat Vaasan Sähkö, Seinäjoen Energia ja Kokkolan Energia.

Yhdistyksen toiminta-alue on nykyisellään Etelä-Pohjanmaa, Keski-Pohjanmaa ja Pohjanmaa. Pohjois-Pohjanmaan toiminnasta vastaa Oulun yhdistys.

”Mesimetsän asukkaat, Soiva Sammakko ystävineen, pitävät joulusta toden teolla. Puuhaa riittää kun yhteistä joulunviettoa suunnitellaan ja valmistelut hoituvat laulun tahtiin! Mutta miten käy Petula Pöllön kuusenkoristelun jos Keijo Kettu unohtaa hakea joulukuusen? Palaako Amalia Ankan joulupuuro pohjaan? Ja mistä kummasta ilmestyy piparkakkulinna? Onko lumiukko herännyt yöllä sen leipomaan?”

Mesimetsän joululaulut nukketeatterimusikaali on Soiva Sammakko esityssarjan kahdeksas osa. Kun puurokattilaan sekoitetaan vanhat tutut joululaulut Mesimetsän omien joululaulujen kanssa ja ripautetaan päälle vielä hippunen joulun taikaa – on jouluinen seikkailu valmis! Musikaali on suunnattu päiväkoti- ja alakouluikäisille lapsille ja sen teemoja ovat ystävyys, yhteisöllisyys ja joulun taika. Nukketeatterimusikaalissa saa myös yleisö leikkiä ja laulaa mukana!

Seikkailevat jouset kantavat nimeä Aventura de Arcos ja totiset torvensoittajat taas nimeä Rautatieläisten soittokunta.

Tämä konsertti on ensimmäinen laatuaan ja Aventuran väellä on ilo esitellä Seinäjoen Rautatieläisten Soittokunta, joka on perustettu vuonna 1900. Puhallinorkesterissamme on 35-40 soittajaa pääosin Seinäjoelta, mutta myös ympäryskunnista. Olemme Etelä-Pohjanmaan Musiikkiopiston yhteissoitto-orkesteri ja riveistämme löytyy musiikkiopiston edistyneempiä oppilaita. Toimimme myös MPK (Maanpuolustuskoulutus) Pohjanmaan soittokuntana sekä yhtenä Seinäjoen Kansalaisopiston orkesterina kuten tämän illan jousiorkesteri ja yhteistyökumppanimme Aventura de Arcos.

\n

Rautatieläisten soittokuntaa johtaa Arto Panula, E-P:n Musiikkiopiston trumpetinsoiton opettaja. Ja hänet nähdään puikoissa myös tässä yhteiskonsertissa.

\n

Aventura de Arcos taas on iältään \"hieman\" nuorempi orkesteri, perustettu vuonna 2009. Ja samalla tavoin soittajat on koottu Seinäjoen ympäristöstä, tituleeraten puoliammattilaisorkesteriksi. Edellinen isompi joulukonserttimme oli 10-vuotistaipaleemme juhlakonsertti.

\n

Yhteistyökumppaneiden ikäeron ollessa päätä huimaavat 109 vuotta, on konsertista kieltämättä tulossa spektaakkeli, jota ei kannatta jättää väliin. Ohjelma 15€.

Nurmon kirjaston satutuokioissa tapaat paljon muita lapsia ja pääset mukaan jännittävään ja hauskaan satumaailmaan. Satutuokiot ovat kerran kuukaudessa torstaisin ja perjantaisin klo 10.00-10.30 Nurmo-salissa.

Tulemme esittämään konsertissa perinteistä joulumusiikkia sekä omia tulkintojamme moderneista klassikoista, pääosin englannin kielellä. Mutta mukaan mahtuu myös muutama suomen kielinen kappale.

Teille jotka ette ole aiemmin kuulleet Flute of Shamesta tai olleet konserteissamme kerrottakoon, että bändillä ei ole mitään tekemistä huilujen tai häpeän kanssa. Tulette näkemään lavalla neljä kitaraa soittavaa ja harmoniassa laulavaa miestä. Kaksi brittiä eli Danen ja Paulin, yksi suomalainen - Olli, sekä yhden suomalaisen, hollantilaisen ja suomalisen sekoituksen eli Koopin.

Flute of Shame will be performing traditional music as well as their own interpretations of modern classics and originals.

For those of you who have not been to a Flute of Shame concert before, the band has nothing to do with flutes, or shame. The band is made up of four strapping, young(ish) lads - two from the UK, one from Finland and one Finnish/Dutch/English hybrid - who play guitars and sing in harmonies. One of the guys is also a self proclaimed 'tambourine legend.'

Koop Arponen & Flute of Shame warmly welcome you to join them for an evening of music in English... and maybe a a cheeky Finnish song too.

Etelä-Pohjanmaan liiton järjestämät kulttuurimatkailukaffit tarjoillaan maanantaina 14.11.2022 klo 13–15 Seinäjoella Hotelli-ravintola Alman Pollarin talon tuvassa (osoite Ruukintie 4, 60100 Seinäjoki). HUOMIO: Pollarin tupa on täynnä (40 hlö), mutta tilaisuutta on mahdollista seurata verkossa Teams-sovelluksen kautta. Ilmoittaudu mukaan linkin saadaksesi. Kaffeista ei julkaista tallennetta. Tilaisuus on maksuton ja suunnattu kaikille kulttuurimatkailusta kiinnostuneille.

Iltapäiväkahvien ja -teen ohella kuullaan ajankohtaista asiaa kulttuurimatkailusta Etelä-Pohjanmaalla. Seinäjoen ammattikorkeakoulu SeAMK:in lehtori Sanna Jyllilä ja tki-asiantuntija Elina Järvinen esittelevät lyhyesti Etelä-Pohjanmaan matkailustrategian ja kertovat vuonna 2021 valmistuneesta alueemme matkailijaselvityksestä.

Visit Finlandin DataHubista ja kulttuurimatkailupalveluiden löydettävyydestä tulevat kertomaan Visit Finlandilla työskentelevät kulttuurimatkailun asiantuntija Susanna Markkola ja projektikoordinaattori Merja Herrala. Kulttuurimatkailupalveluiden digitaalinen löydettävyys on menestyksen edellytys. Visit Finlandin DataHub matkailukohteiden ja -palveluiden tietokantana mahdollistaa myös kulttuuritarjonnan löydettävyyden monissa eri digitaalisissa kanavissa niin matkailijoille kuin matkanjärjestäjillekin.

Paneelikeskustelussa vaihdetaan ajatuksia siitä, kuinka kulttuuri- ja matkailualojen toimijat löytäisivät toinen toisensa paremmin ja yhteistyötä tehtäisiin saumattomammin.
