Vuosi 2027 alkaa raskaasti Rytmikorjaamolla – Seinäjoki Metal Festivalin pääesiintyjä on italialainen Fleshgod Apocalypse

Seinäjoki Metal Festival koettelee Seinäjoen Rytmikorjaamon seinien kestävyyttä lauantaina 9. tammikuuta 2027. Liput myynnissä!

Tapahtuman pääesiintyjä Fleshgod Apocalypse tavoittaa sinfonisella death metalilla sekä teknisen taituruuden että mielen ytimeen porautuvan tunteen. Vuonna 2027 kaksikymmentä vuotta täyttävä bändi julkaisi edellisen albuminsa vuonna 2024. Fleshgod Apocalypse levyttää arvostetulle Nuclear Blast Recordsille.

Seinäjoki Metal Festivalin suomalaiset esiintyjät edustavat vuoden 2027 vaihtelevia heavyn tyylisuuntia. Assemble the Chariots työstää tarkkaa ja taitavaa sinfonista deathcorea, Whisperedin melodisessa death metalissa on vahva japanilaisvivahde, Fear of Domination pitää yhä industrial metalin lippua korkealla ja Kneel Before the Deathin paahtoa on luokiteltu sanoilla extreme metal.

Peräkontti- ja vilttikirppis Piirin torilla Piirin kesälauantai -tapahtumassa (maksutapoina käyvät käteinen ja mobilepay).

KLO 11.30 – 13.00 Vaiherikkaita vuosikymmeniä TB-talossa
Rakennuksen historiasta luennoi Piirillä toiminut osastonhoitaja, ylihoitaja, Piirin Perinneyhdistyksen puheenjohtaja Kaisu Rintala. Tikanpesä on toiminut muun muassa henkilökunnan koulutus-ja kokoustilana. Luennon jälkeen pääset opastettuun esittelyyn TB-talon suljetun osaston puolelle. Esittelijänä osastolla toimii apulaisosastonhoitaja, osastonhoitaja Raija Kontiola. Kulku osastolle 1. kerrokseen Tikanpesän kautta luennon jälkeen. Osallistumismaksu luennolle ja kierrokselle 5 € (käteinen tai mobilepay).

KLO 13.30-15.00 PEITENIMI 7463. Törnävän sairaala osana sotasairaala 29:ää talvi- ja jatkosodan aikana.
Esitelmän pitää terveydenhuoltoneuvos Saara Ijäs. Luennon jälkeen pääset opastettuun esittelyyn TB-talon suljetun osaston puolelle. Esittelijänä osastolla toimii apulaisosastonhoitaja, osastonhoitaja Raija Kontiola. Kulku osastolle 1. kerrokseen Tikanpesän kautta luennon jälkeen. KLO 11-15 WALK IN – TYÖPAJA, OSUUSKUNTA NOSTATES, TN-TALO

Maalataan näkymätön näkyväksi. Työpajassa maalataan \"taikamusteella\" paperille. Maalamisen jälkeen paperi sivellään kurkuma maalausnesteellä, jolloin näkymättömät kuviot vaihtavat väriä ja ilmestyvät näkyviin taianomaisesti. Työpaja toteutetaan yhteistyössä Taideyliopiston Seinäjoen yksikön kanssa ja se on osa Tiedeosaaminen muuttaa maailmaa - Taidekasvatus avartaa ajattelua - hanketta.
