Janna lähtee JANNAN JOULU -kiertueelle joulukuussa. Kiertue alkaa Klaukkalan kirkosta 5. joulukuuta ja päättyy Kurikan kirkkoon 21. joulukuuta. Janna on koskettanut suomalaisia musiikillaan jo lähes kahden vuosikymmenen ajan. Hänen tulkinnalleen on tunnusomaista herkkyys ja vahvuus, jotka yhdistyvät puhutteleviin teksteihin ja tarttuviin kertosäkeisiin, jotka puhuttelevat kuulijoita iästä riippumatta.

✨ Valo on meissä – Jari Sillanpään 30v- juhlavuoden joulukonserttikiertue 2025 ✨

Vuosi 2025 on Jari Sillanpäälle erityinen – juhlimme hänen upeaa kaksoismerkkipaaluaan: 30 vuotta estradilla ja 60 vuotta tässä ihanassa maailmassa. Syksyllä Jari kiertää Suomen konserttisaleja laajalla juhlakiertueella, ja joulukuussa juhlavuosi saa jatkoa hänelle rakkaalla tavalla – joulun merkeissä.
Joulun aikaan sytytämme kynttilät ja etsimme lämpöä läheisistä – ja samalla löydämme valon myös itsestämme. Jari Sillanpää tuo tänä vuonna joulun sanoman uuden kappaleensa myötä kiertueelle, joka kantaa nimeä Valo on meissä.
Konserteissa kuullaan Jarin rakastetuimpia joululauluja, perinteisiä säveliä sekä lauluja, jotka ovat kulkeneet hänen matkassaan vuosikymmenten ajan. Uuden kappaleen sanoma johdattaa kuulijat pysähtymään, hengähtämään ja muistamaan, että jokaisessa meissä on valo, joka kantaa läpi pimeimmänkin talven.
Lämminhenkinen konsertti yhdistää juhlan ja hiljentymisen, koskettaa sydäntä ja luo hetken, jossa valo todella löytyy meistä kaikista.

KATRI YLANDER - JOULUILTANA JOULUKONSERTIT 2025.

Jo kaksi vuosikymmentä suomalaisia kuulaalla äänellään ja hillityllä persoonallaan ihastuttanut Katri Ylander toteuttaa Jouluiltana -konsertteja joulukuussa 2025. Jouluihmiseksi tunnustautuva Ylander on kuin luotu joulukonserttien rauhalliseen tunnelmointiin. Omaan jouluuni kuuluu perheen kesken rauhoittumisen ja hiljentymisen lisäksi kauniit joululaulut, jotka vievät meidät kaikki rauhalliseen ja levolliseen tunnelmaan joulun kynnyksellä. Jouluiltana-konsertissa tunnelmoin pianistin kanssa itselleni ja yleisölle tuttuja perinteisiä joululauluja. Joukkoon mahtuu myös muutama oma kappale sekä niinikään joulun alla vuonna 2021 julkaistu Jouluilta-kappale, jolla Katri kertoo joulustaan. Tunteikkaalla ja tyylikkäällä pop-musiikillaan koskettanut Ylander kuuluu maamme pidetyimpien naisartistien joukkoon. Esiintyjänä artisti on kiitelty olevan valoisa ja raikas. Uransa aikana Katri on saanut paljon kiitosta kauniista äänestään, sekä vahvasta tulkintakyvystään. Satakunnasta kotoisin olevan artistin uran suurimpia hittejä ovat mm. Yksi sydän, San omulle jotain kaunista,Onko vielä aikaa?,Välitunnilla, Aamuaurinkoon ja Valehdellaan, sekä Mansikkamäki.

Lokakuussa alkaa nuorten lukupiiri!

Lukupiiriin ovat tervetulleita kaikki 15-20-vuotiaat lukemisen ystävät. Joka kerralle luetaan yksi, yhteinen kirja. Kirjan saa lainattua kirjaston asiakaspalvelusta.

\n

Osallistuaksesi ei tarvitse olla kirjallisuuden asiantuntija, vaan keskustelemme kirjoista rennosti ilman paineita! Ensimmäinen tapaaminen on torstaina 2.10. klo 17-18 kirjaston käsikirjastossa. Lukupiiriä vetää kirjastovirkailija Helmi.

Keitä olivat Fyrrykyröön pläkkyrit? Mitä vaiheita ja työkaluja pläkkipellin vääntäminen vaatii?

Pellistä on väännetty esineitä aluksi tarpeeseen, myöhemmin myös koristeiksi.

Hentoja virtauksia on tutkimus herkkyyden voimasta. Siitä, miten kauneus voi syntyä säröistä, pinnan alta, pienistä liikkeistä, joita ei ehkä heti huomaa, mutta jotka muuttavat meitä.  Taulujen kerrokset on luotu pouring-tekniikalla ja sekatekniikoin. Jokainen teos on saanut nimen runon muodossa – Runo ei selitä teosta puhki, vaan antaa sille toisen kerroksen, mahdollisuuden kohdata teos, omalla tavallaan, omaan tahtiinsa.

Hilla Hautanen (FM) on seinäjokinen taiteilija, taidekasvattaja ja taidehistorioitsija. Taiteellisen työskentelyn muotoja ovat oman kuvallisen ilmaisun lisäksi muun muassa ympäristö- ja yhteisötaide. Hän työskentelee myös erilaisissa taiteen alan projekteissa ja taiteen kehittämis-, asiantuntija- ja luennoitsijatehtävät ovat lähellä sydäntä.

Näyttely on tutkimusmatka luonnon monimuotoisuuteen, sen väreihin ja muotoihin, jotka elävät ja muuttuvat ympärillämme vuodenaikojen vaihteluiden mukana. Elämän kirjo on planeetallamme kaikkialla läsnä. Meitä kaikkialla ympäröivä monimuotoisuus on elämän perusominaisuus. Maailmassa on miljoonia erilaisia eliölajeja. Elinvoimaiset luonnonympäristöt ja monimuotoisuus ylläpitävät elämää ja siksi elonkirjon varjeleminen onkin elintärkeää. Hilla Hautanen avaa työskentelyään: “Teemoja, joita käsittelen näyttelyssäni, ovat ympäristönsuojelu ja luonnon monimuotoisuus, sekä kestävä kehitys. Tutkin taiteilijana myös ekologisten välineiden käyttöä taiteen tekemisessä tarkoituksenani syventää tätä lähestymistapaa työskentelyssäni.”

Taiteilija herättelee teoksillaan pohtimaan kysymyksiä luonnon ja ihmisen suhteesta, muistuttaen meitä siitä, kuinka kaikki elävä on yhteydessä toisiinsa. Elonkirjo -näyttelyssä taiteilija tarkastelee myös ekologisuuden ja kestävän kehityksen merkitystä, luoden tilaa sille, kuinka luonto ja sen kauneus ovat läsnä jokapäiväisessä arjessamme meitä inspiroiden. Näyttely havainnoi ja kunnioittaa ympäröivän maailman ainutlaatuista ja haurasta kauneutta. Jos maltamme viivähtää tarkastelemaan lähiympäristöämme, voimme yllättyä, kuinka monipuolista elämää onkin aivan jalkojemme juuressa.

Hilla Hautanen (MA) is an artist, art educator, and art historian from Seinäjoki. In addition to her own visual expression, her artistic practice includes environmental and community art. She also works in various art-related projects, and is deeply passionate about art development, expert roles, and lecturing.

This exhibition invites viewers on a journey into the richness of nature — its colors and forms shifting with the seasons. Biodiversity, the very foundation of life, surrounds us everywhere, sustaining our planet through countless species and ecosystems. Protecting this living spectrum is vital. Artist Hilla Hautanen explores themes of environmental protection, biodiversity, and sustainable development, while also experimenting with ecological methods and materials to deepen her artistic practice.

Through her works, the artist invites reflection on the relationship between nature and humanity, reminding us that all living things are interconnected. In the exhibition Living Spectrum, she also explores the importance of ecology and sustainable development, creating space for the presence of nature and its beauty in our everyday lives as a source of inspiration.
