Muodon perintö-näyttelyn avoimia avajaisia vietetään perjantaina 4.9.2026 klo 17-22 näyttelytila Vintillä. Talossa järjestetään samaan aikaan Ilmiöiden yö-tapahtuma. Tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy kaikille. Voit tulla yksin tai ystävien kanssa pidemmäksi aikaa, tai vaikka vain piipahtamaan hetkeksi. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!

\n<h3>Uusi näyttely</h3>\n

J.P Köykän yksityisnäyttely Muodon perintö esittelee uusia suurikokoisia maalauksia, installaation ja videoita Seinäjoelle paluumuuttaneelta kuvataiteilijalta. Vintti-tila toiminut J.P Köykälle teosten lähtökohtana. Muodon perintö -näyttelyssä raja maalauksen ja tilan arkkitehtuurin välillä hämärtyy. Köykkä tutkii teoksissaan sitä, mistä hänen visuaalinen perintönsä koostuu. Maalaus voi periä menneisyyden muodon.

J.P Köykkä (s. 1987) asuu ja työskentelee Seinäjoella. Hän on valmistunut kuvataiteilijaksi Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulusta. Köykän teoksia on Valtion taideteostoimikunnan kokoelmissa, Kansallisgalleriassa ja Tampereen taidemuseon kokoelmissa.

Omatoimisessa tarratyöpajassa voit suunnitella ja tehdä oman tarran. Voit hakea inspiraatiota juuri avatusta J.P Köykän Muodon perintö -näyttelystä tai suunnitella itsellesi juuri sellaisen tarran mitä haluat. Voit myös jättää tarramuotoisen vieraskirjatervehdyksesi kollektiiviseen näyttelyvieraskirjaan

\n<h4>Klo 19–19.30 Heikki Hautala</h4>\n

Näyttelytila Vintti, 3. krs
Heikki Hautala on laulaja-lauluntekijä sekä kitaristi, joka tunnetaan yhteiskunnallisesti kantaa ottavista sanoituksistaan sekä rockin, punkin ja folkin vaikutteita yhdistelevästä musiikistaan. Hänet tunnetaan erityisesti Sokea piste -yhtyeestä ja soolotuotannostaan. Hautala on myös ammatiltaan kuvataiteilija.

\n<h3>Mitä odotettavissa</h3>\n

Taidehallin avajaiset ovat kaikille avoimia, maksuttomia ja kaikenikäisille sopivia tapahtumia. Voit tulla paikalle matalalla kynnyksellä eli et tarvitse ennakkotietoa taiteesta. Avajaisissa voit: tutustua uuteen näyttelyyn omaan tahtiin, kuulla taiteilijoista ja teoksista lisää ja osallistua työpajoihin tai vain viettää aikaa muiden kanssa.Voit viipyä koko illan tai käydä nopeasti vierailulla. Äärellä-ravintolasta voi ostaa virvokkeita ja niitä saa juoda myös näyttelytiloissa.

\n<h3>Saapuminen Kalevan Navettaan</h3>\n

Osoite: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.

Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. Lähin yleinen pysäköintialue sijaitsee Maakunnankadulla noin 700 metrin päässä rakennuksesta. Vilkkaina tapahtumapäivinä suosittelemme käyttämään henkilöauton sijasta muita saapumisvaihtoehtoja tai pysäköimään auton tarvittaessa Maakunnankadun parkkialueelle.

The opening event of the exhibition Forms Of Heritage will be held on Friday, September 4rd, 2026, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Vintti exhibition space. At the same time, Ilmiöiden yö (the Phenomena of the Night) city-wide culture event will be taking place at the culture centre. Admission to the event is free for everyone. You can arrive alone, with friends, or with family, and stay as long (or as little) as you like.

\n<h3>New Exhibition</h3>\n

J.P Köykkä’s solo exhibition Forms of Heritage presents new large-scale paintings, video works and installations by Seinäjoki based artist. The past is a heritage that is transformed into forms of painting. In his works, JP Köykkä explores what his legacy consists of. What is the local visual heritage of Seinäjoki? Köykkä’s work is influenced by history of abstract painting and the region’s history of graffiti art. The forms are unrestrained, they spring from the street but find their home almost anywhere.

J.P Köykkä (b. 1987) lives and works in Seinäjoki, Finland. He holds a BA degree from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Visual Arts. His works are included in collections such as Finnish National Gallery, State Art Deposit Collection and Tampere Art Museum.

In this self-guided sticker workshop, you can design and make your own sticker. You can draw inspiration from the recently opened J.P. Köykkä exhibition “Forms of Heritage” or design a sticker exactly the way you want it. You can also leave a sticker note in the exhibition guestbook.

Heikki Hautala is a singer-songwriter and guitarist known for his socially conscious lyrics and his music, which blends influences from rock, punk, and folk. He is best known for the band Sokea piste and his solo work. Hautala is also a visual artist by profession.

Our exhibition openings are informal, inclusive, and suitable for all ages.You don’t need any background in art just curiosity. You can explore contemporary art in a relaxed setting, meet artists and hear the stories behind the works, join a workshop or simply enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you stay for a while or the whole evening, you are very welcome.

\n<h3>Arrival at Kalevan Navetta</h3>\n

Address: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Seinäjoki is an easy day-trip destination in Western Finland, about 1 hour by train from Tampere and 3 hours from Helsinki.

\n

The main entrance is located in the inner courtyard between Kalevan Navetta and nearby residential buildings. Walking and cycling routes lead directly to the venue. From the Seinäjoki train station 15 minutes walk. If you travel by car: around 50 parking spaces are available nearby. First 2 hours free, then €1/hour. Additional parking is available about a 10-minute walk away (Maakunnankatu area). On busy event days, we recommend arriving on foot or by bike if possible.

Tapahtuma on osa Suomen Ladun Nuku yö ulkona -teemaviikonloppua, joka kannustaa nauttimaan luonnosta ja ulkoilusta.

Käpälikön Luontopäivässä nautitaan loppukesäisen luonnon kauneudesta, tutustutaan luontoon ja osallistutaan hauskoihin luontoaiheisiin aktiviteetteihin.

\n

Kyrkösjärven rannalla luonto paljastaa parhaat puolensa: metsän tuoksu sekoittuu auringon lämpöön ja järven pinta kimmeltää kutsuvasti.

\n

Ilmainen tapahtuma tarjoaa monipuolista luontoteemaista tekemistä kaikenikäisille. Kalastus ja tutustuminen Kyrkösjärven kalalajeihin tarjoavat ainutlaatuisen tilaisuuden oppia yhdessä uusia taitoja.

\n

Lasten suosima esteetön Oravapolku houkuttelee eläinhahmojen etsintään ja luontoleikkeihin. Päivän aikana ihastelemme eläviä rapuja ja tutustumme akvaariossa Kyrkösjärven kaloihin. Ohjelmassa on myös viehekalastuksen neuvontaa, onginnan opastusta sekä opastettu sieniretki lähimaastoon.

Tutustu myös Seinäjoen Terveysmetsään ja koe, miten lähiluonto tukee hyvinvointia ja edistää palautumista arjen kiireistä.

Celebrate the beauty of late summer at Käpälikön Luontopäivä (Nature Day at Käpälikkö), where visitors of all ages can explore nature, enjoy fun outdoor activities and experience the wellbeing benefits of spending time outdoors.

Set on the shores of Kyrkösjärvi (Lake Kyrkösjärvi), the surrounding nature reveals its finest qualities: the scent of the forest blends with the warmth of the sun, while the shimmering lake creates a peaceful and inviting atmosphere.

This free event offers a wide variety of nature-themed activities for all ages. Fishing and learning about the fish species of Kyrkösjärvi provide a unique opportunity to discover new skills together.

\n

Children will enjoy exploring the accessible Oravapolku Nature Trail (Squirrel Nature Trail), searching for woodland animal figures and taking part in nature-inspired games.

\n

During the day you can observe live crayfish, discover the fish of Kyrkösjärvi in the aquarium, receive guidance on lure fishing and traditional angling, and join a guided mushroom foraging walk in the nearby forest.

\n

You are also invited to discover Seinäjoki's Health Forest (Terveysmetsä) and experience how nearby nature supports wellbeing and helps people recover from the demands of everyday life.

Visitors of all ages will find enjoyable activities throughout the day, and delicious refreshments will be available from Kyrkkis-kioski (Kyrkkis Kiosk) and Sirius kota (Sirius Wilderness Hut).

Digivinkit kokoontuvat Seinäjoen pääkirjastolla yleensä joka toinen viikko. Digivinkkien luennoilla ja työpajoissa saat käytännönläheisiä neuvoja ja opastusta tietokoneen, tabletin ja älypuhelimen käyttöön. Jokaisella kerralla on ajankohtainen ja vaihtuva teema, ja osassa kokoontumisista mukana on myös ulkopuolisia asiantuntijoita kertomassa hyödyllisistä digiaiheista.

Osallistuminen on maksutonta, eikä ennakkoilmoittautumista tarvita. Voit ottaa mukaan oman laitteesi tai käyttää kirjaston lainattavia laitteita.

Tule tutustumaan kuntien yhteiseen E-kirjastoon ja opi hyödyntämään e-kirjoja, äänikirjoja ja digilehtiä kätevästi mobiililaitteellasi tai tietokoneellasi.
