Kiskonniemen aluetta on hoidettu perinnemaisemana vuodesta 2006 asti. Alueelle kulkee myös luontopolku ja siellä on kaupungin ylläpitämä kota. Yhdistys on nyt kahtena kesänä poistanut sieltä jättipalsamia. Nyt aluetta 20 vuotta hoitanut Terhi Ala-Risku tulee vetämään niittotalkoot ja opettelemme yhdessä alueen hoitamista ja suunnittelemme jatkoa.

Aloitetaan klo 10 ja lopetellaan iltapäivällä. Talkoissa on erilaisia helppojakin hommia tarjolla eli mitään ei tarvitse osata valmiiksi.

Esikoiskirjailija Buohttá Tulisilta esittelee runokirjaansa Suru pyyhkii sydäntäni Apila-kirjaston Jaaksi-salissa.

\"Tämä on ollut lapsuuden haaveeni jo pienestä tytöstä lähtien. Eihän siinä mennyt, kuin 43 vuotta, kun sain tämän tehtyä. Hyvät asiat tulee aikanaan ja tämän aika oli nyt.

Runoissa käsittelen vaikeaa elämääni lastenkotilapsesta tasapainoiseksi aikuiseksi. Runoni ovat herkkiä ja surullisia, mutta myös toivon pilkahduksia on joukossa. Elämä on tehnyt minusta sen, joka olen juuri nyt tänä päivänä. Olen elämääni tyytyväinen ja menen päivä ja hetki kerrallaan.\"

Kirjailija ja toimittaja J.P. Pulkkinen esittelee kirjaansa Diplomaatti – Hans-Friedrich von Ploetzin eurooppalainen odysseia. Kirjan päähenkilö on lapsena sotaa paennut saksalainen diplomaatti, joka loi huikean uran kansainvälisen politiikan ytimiin, oli mm. Saksan suurlähettiläänä Lontoossa ja Moskovassa. Von Ploetz avioitui aikanaan suomalaisen kanssa, mikä osaltaan korosti Suomenkin merkitystä von Ploetzin elämässä. Vapaa pääsy.
