Improaallon hauskat esitykset Ravintola Verstaan kesäterassilla heinä- ja elokuussa!

Improaallon humoristinen esitys rakentuu yhdessä yleisön kanssa, sillä illan kulku rakentuu katsojien toiveista, eikä mikään aihe ole Improaallon esiintyjille liikaa. Kesän viihdyttävin show koettelee vahvasti nauruhermojen säikeitä!

Seinäjoen Keskustorilla tapahtuu keskiviikkoiltaisin klo 18 alkaen, kun Iltatori kerää yhteen erilaisia myyjiä. Iltatori on kaikille avoin, eli tervetulleita ovat niin kotikirppismyyjät varastojensa aarteiden kanssa, kuin perinteiset rompe- ja markkinamyyjätkin. Mukaan tarvitaan oma pöytä, viltti tai rekki. Keskiviikon Iltatoreja järjestetään säännöllisesti (poislukien torin tapahtumille varatut illat) ilmoittautuneiden myyjien määrän mukaisesti, mikäli sää sallii. Myös katusoittajat ovat tervetulleita viihdyttämään kävijöitä.

Lapua Pride on tänä vuonna kahden päivän mittainen ja järjestetään elokuun alussa 8.-9.8.2025. Suurin osa tapahtumista järjestetään Kulttuurikeskus Vanhassa Paukussa osoitteessa Vanhan Paukun tie 1 ja erityisesti Lyijylankaosastolla.

Lapua Pride -kulkue lähtee Lapuan torilta lauantaina 14.00 ja päättyy pääjuhlaan Laskeutuvan Perhosen aukiolle.

Siirtolaisuusmuseo järjestää kolmanne kerran intiimin ja tunnelmallisen konsertin museoalueen Unkurin talossa. Konsertissa esiintyy tällä kertaa NAM-trio.

Piia Kleemolan, Timo Kiprianoffin ja Marita Ylevän trion ohjelmisto koostuu 200 vuoden takaisista eteläpohjalaisista hittisävelmistä. NAM-trio esittää uusia sovituksia eteläpohjalaisista kansanlauluista ja instrumentaalisävelmistä aina polskista tangoihin saakka. Etelä-Pohjanmaan musiikkiopiston Vietnamiin suuntautuvan Tradition for the Youth -projektin myötä perustettu yhtye soitti ensikonserttinsa Hanoissa, Vietnamissa huhtikuussa 2014. Yhtyeen jäsenet ovat kokeneita muusikkoja ja pedagogeja, ja ovat työskennelleet monipuolisesti eri musiikkityylien parissa.

KOMIA Lasten Halloween Run on kirsikka kakun päällä. Kilpailukeskuksesta käsin juostaan lasten Halloween Run, joka on pituudeltaan 800m. Kaikki juoksijat palkitaan ja matkan voi kiertää vaikka aikuisen kanssa kävelyhölkäten. Ja tietenkin naamiaisasussa!

KOMIA Kyrkösjärven kierros sunnuntaina 14.9.2025

Kyrkösjärven kierros on yksi Seinäjoen legendaarisimpia ja suositumpia lenkkeilyreittejä! Järven ympäri on järjestetty hölkkiä ennenkin, ja nyt tänä vuonna Kyrkösjärven kierretään taas!

Tapahtumapaikkana on Kyrkösjärven uimaranta ja sen yhteydessä oleva Luontotalo Käpälikkö. Lähtö, maali, parkkeuuraus ja tapahtumakeskus sijaitsevat kaikki samassa yhteydessä.

\n

Päämatkana on KOMIA Kyrkösjärven kerros 15,4km järven ympäri. Lisäksi lyhyempi KOMIA Pikku Kyrkkäri 4,3km nuorille tai hölkkänä. Sokerina pohjalla on perheen pienimmille suunnattu KOMIA Mini Kyrkkäri 500m.

Tiina Laasosen Tunnen puun, joka kasvoi suureksi -näyttelyn teokset perustuvat paikallisiin puumuistoihin. Osa näyttelyn teoksista on valmistettu puumateriaalista, joka on kerätty avoimella puunkeruukampanjalla paikallisten asukkaiden kotipihoilta Seinäjoelta, Lapualta ja Vaasasta. Keskeinen osa näyttelyä ovat taideteosten materiaaleihin liittyvät muistot ja tarinat, jotka taiteilija kirjoitti ylös puumateriaalia kerätessään.

Työpajassa tutustutaan yhdessä erilaisiin sirkusvälineisiin ja pidetään hauskaa rennossa ilmapiirissä. Hyvän mielen harjoitukset kehittävät mm. tasapainoa, liikekieltä ja ilmaisuvoimaa. Aiempaa sirkusosaamista ei tarvita, vaan kokeilemaan voi tulla matalalla kynnyksellä.

Aina syyskuun ensimmäisenä viikonvaihteena Hämes-Havusen idyllisessä pohjalaismiljöössä järjestettään Kauhajoen Ruokamessut. Tapahtumassa pääsee maistelemaan makujen laajaa kirjoa, keräämään itselle uusia vinkkejä omaan kokkaukseen ja ihastelemaan taitajien kädenjälkiä. Messuilla on näytteilleasettajia reilu 130 ja he tarjoavat messukävijöille elämyksiä uutuustuotteiden, vanhojen tuttujen makujen sekä silmää ja sielua hivelevien upeiden käsitöiden ja taiteen parissa. Ohjelmalavalla kokit taikovat toinen toistaan maukkaampia ruokia ja jakavat maistiaisia uusista lähiruokaherkuista myös messuvieraille. Tapahtuma tarjoaa näkemistä ja kokemista koko perheelle.
