Pienemmillä matkana on maalisuoran mitta eli n 100 m ja matkat pidentyvät iän myötä. Hiihtotyyli vaihtelee vuoroviikoin perinteisen ja vapaan välillä. Parilla kerralla 8 v ja sitä vanhemmilla yhteislähtö. Joka tapahtumalla on oma sponsori ja kaikki osallistujat palkitaan. Joka kerta pitää ilmoittautua erikseen Kauhajoen Karhun hiihdon nettisivuilta löytyvän linkin kautta tapahtumaa edeltävän maanantai-illan aikana. Lähtölista on näkyvilla hiihdon nettisivuilla tiistai-illan aikana ja tulokset välittömästi hiihtojen jälkeen. Pakkasraja -15 ja mahdollisesta perumisesta tiedotetaan nettisivuilla.
