Kukapa meistä ei tietäisi, että liikunta vaikuttaa positiivisesti terveyteen ja hyvinvointiin. Mutta pelkkä tieto tai terveysvalistus harvoin auttaa meitä muuttamaan liikuntakäyttäytymistä pysyvästi. Tiedon saaminen voi sysätä meidät liikkeelle ja toimia alussa motivaattorina, mutta kuinka ylläpitää motivaatiota alkuinnostuksen jälkeenkin?
Tule kuuntelemaan ja keskustelemaan liikuntamotivaatiosta. Mikä meitä motivoi liikkumaan? Mitkä tekijät vaikuttavat liikuntamotivaation taustalla ja kuinka sen voi löytää?

Tapahtuman koko lipputuotto ohjautuu Alajärven sosiaalitoimiston kautta lahjakortteina vähävaraisille lapsiperheille. Alajärven Nuorisoseura lahjoittaa puolet kahvion tuotosta samaan tarkoitukseen.
Kyseessä on humoristinen katsaus ihmiselon kaareen lapsuudesta vanhuuteen laulujen, taikatemppujen ja juontojen siivittämänä.
Illan juontaa Hannu Matintupa, lauluista vastaavat Arja Tikkanen ja Tarja Kultavuori housebandin säestämänä. Housebandissa soittavat Marko Penninkangas, Tommi Vainio ja Jari Erkkilä.
Taikaa lavalle tuo Taikuri-Janos eli Janne Valkeinen.
Ohjelma kestää noin tunnin ja liput tilaisuuteen ovat vain 10€. Kahvio palvelee ennen ja jälkeen esityksen.

Lasten yliopistossa puhutaan tieteestä ja tutkimuksesta lasten ehdoilla. Lasten yliopiston tarkoituksena on herättää kiinnostus tieteeseen sekä innostaa ihmettelemään ja kysymään! Luennoitsijoina toimivat tieteentekijät, jotka kertovat omista tutkimuskohteistaan. Luennot on tarkoitettu 6–12-vuotiaille lapsille ja ne ovat maksuttomia. Lasten yliopiston yhteistyökumppaneina Lähi-Tapiola Etelä-Pohjanmaa, Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton Seinäjoen paikallisyhdistys ja Seinäjoen kaupunginkirjasto.

Tapahtumassa kuulet SeAMK Food Labs -palvelutarjonnasta, pakkauslainsäädännön ajankohtaisista asioista, elintarvikejärjestelmän trendeistä, kuivaus- ja haihdutusteknologioista sekä pääset tutustumaan uusinta teknologiaa käyttäviin pilot-mittakaavan laitteisiin. Uusimpina investointeina tiloista löytyvät membraanisuodatuslaite sekä spraykuivain. Tapahtumaa suositellaan erityisesti ruoka-alan toimijoille, joita kiinnostavat yhteistyömahdollisuudet SeAMK Food Labs -pilotointiympäristössä. Suomen matkailuoppaiden päivänä ti 6.5. klo 17.30 - 19.30 järjestämme Piirillä sisä- ja ulkotiloissa kahden tunnin opastetun kierroksen. Tervetuloa tutustumaan historiallisen sairaala-alueen tarinoihin niin sisä- kuin ulkotiloissa. Mukana myös tällä hetkellä käynnissä olevan opaskurssin kurssilaisia.

Noin kaksi tuntia kestävän ulko- ja sisätiloissa toteutettavan kävelykierroksen aikana tutustutaan Seinäjoki-oppaan johdolla entisen Piirimielisairaalan alueeseen. Kierroksella kuullaan niin alueen toiminnoista ennen vanhaan sairaalan aikaan kuin nykyisistä toiminnoista ja alueen nykyisestä kehittymisestä perheyritys Karhun käsissä. Kierros on maksuton, ennakkoilmoittautumista ei tarvita.

Kulttuurikollektiivi Silta ry järjestää keskiviikkona 7.5. klo 10-12 Minirunomaraton- tapahtuman Seinäjoella. Minirunomaraton on suunnattu alle kouluikäisille ja se tapahtuu Apila-kirjaston lastenosastolla. Tapahtuma on ilmainen ja sinne ovat tervetulleita kaikki. Minirunomaraton järjestetään yhteistyössä Seinäjoen kaupunginkirjaston kanssa.

Ohjelmassa on Jenna Varismäen, teatteri-ilmaisun ohjaaja (AMK), kirjoittama nukketeatteriesitys Puputin aamu. Nukketeatterin esitykset ovat:
