\nKirjastoautossa voi lainata kirjoja aivan tavalliseen tapaan ja lisäksi mukana on taide- ja kulttuurisisältöjä. Tapahtuma on osa uutta yhteistyötä Seinäjoen kulttuuripalveluiden, kirjastopalveluiden ja aktiivisten yhdistystoimijoiden välillä.
\nTapahtuma on suunnattu kaikille, mutta erityisesti lapset ovat lämpimästi tervetulleita. Tervetuloa vaikka isovanhemman kanssa viettämään mukavaa hetkeä kulttuurin parissa.
\nHonkakylässä esiintyy trubaduuri Joonas Moisio klo 12.30-13.

Kirjastoauto Opus on mukana Rantamajan lastentapahtumassa Kortesjärvellä tarjoten Aakkosbongausta ja muuta pientä kivaa tehtävää. Paikalla myös Kaverikoirat rapsuteltavina. \nMaalataan näkymätön näkyväksi. Työpajassa maalataan \"taikamusteella\" paperille. Maalamisen jälkeen paperi sivellään kurkuma maalausnesteellä, jolloin näkymättömät kuviot vaihtavat väriä ja ilmestyvät näkyviin taianomaisesti. Työpaja toteutetaan yhteistyössä Taideyliopiston Seinäjoen yksikön kanssa ja se on osa Tiedeosaaminen muuttaa maailmaa - Taidekasvatus avartaa ajattelua - hanketta. \n\nLakeuden Risti on Seinäjoen alueseurakunnan pääkirkko. Alvar Aallon suunnittelema kirkko valmistui huhtikuussa 1960.
Kirkkosalissa on 1 200 istumapaikkaa ja urkulehterillä 124 paikkaa.
Kirkon koillissivulla on kappeli kaste-, vihki- ym. toimituksia varten.
Lakeuden Ristin torniin pääsee vierailemaan kesäaikana. Hissi vie toiseksi ylimpään kerrokseen, mistä raput ylös. Oven avaus: kirkon opas tai päivystävä vahtimestari (p. 06 418 4260).
