Tervetuloa Kraatterijärven rannalle!

Lappajärven kesämarkkinat ovat Pohjanmaan Järviseudun suurin kesämarkkinatapahtuma. Tänä vuonna vietettävä 50-vuotisjuhla tuo mukanaan joukon uudistuksia markkina-alueelle. Yleisön toiveesta kutsumme paikalle erityisesti suomalaisia kädentaitajia ja alkutuottajia: heille on varattu oma myyntialue edullisilla paikkahinnoilla! Ohjelman kohokohtia on varmasti Suomen kaikkien aikojen ensimmäiset Köydenvedon SM-kisat, jotka kisataan markkina-alueen läheisyydessä perjantaina 19.7. Köydenvetofinaalia juhlistetaan markkina-alueen  pääsymaksuttomissa katutansseissa, joita tahdittaa Antti Ahopelto. Ja vuorokausi vaihtuu lauantain puolelle tietysti perinteisessä Koskirockissa!<br>\nLauantaina on vuorossa odotettu Lappajärven Vetävin Kylä -köydenvetokisa. Ohjelmalavalla tapahtuu koko markkinoiden ajan: luvassa on musiikkia, puheita ja varmasti yllätysohjelmaakin!

Kuvataideretriitti on viikonlopun kestävä kokonaisuus. Se mahdollistaa omaan sisäiseen maailmaan tutustumisen kuvataiteen ja hiljaisen mietiskelyn keinoin.

Retriitin päivää rytmittävät hiljaisuushetket, ohjatut työskentelyhetket sekä kuvamietiskely. Hiljaisuuskävely puolestaan johdattelee äänimaiseman avautumiseen uudella – yllättävälläkin tavalla. Kuvamietiskely ohjaa taideteosten monikerroksellisten merkitysten vastaanottamiseen.

Retriitti on matka omaan sisäiseen maailmaan yksin tai toisten kanssa yhdessä jaettuna kokemuksena.
