Lennä lauluni lennä -yhteislaulukonsertti on Seinäjoen koulujen kulttuurikasvatussuunnitelman eli Kulttuurimatkan tapahtuma, joka kokoaa 3.-luokkalaiset kaikilta Seinäjoen alakouluilta laulamaan yhdessä. Tapahtumassa on mukana lähes 800 laulajaa. Lisäksi heidän kanssaan musisoivat Etelä-Pohjanmaan Musiikkiopiston oppilaista koostuvat orkesterit First Wind Band, Jousiyhtye, Tulikipuna sekä Opebändi.

Tapahtuma on suunnattu yli 65-vuotiaille. Pääsylippuja jaetaan Uimahalli-Urheilutalon aulassa infopisteellä tapahtumapäivänä klo 11–11.30. Paikkoja 100 ensimmäiselle.

EL Bingoa pelataan joka keskiviikko ilta Kauhajoen ABC ravintolassa. Kaikki yli 18 v ovat tervetulleita pelaamaan.

Pelikirjojen myynti alkaa klo 17. Palkintoina S-lahjakortteja sekä tuotepalkintoja. Pelissä käytetään tätä tarkoitusta varten painettuja kuusi pelikierrosta sisältäviä pelikirjoja, joissa on liuska kutakin pelikierrosta varten. Pelikirjoja on sekä yksi- että kaksiosaisia. Pelaamme joka kierroksella 1, 2 ja 3 vaakarivin bingon. Arvonnassa on 90 palloa. Jos useita voittoja samalle pelille, voittosumma jaetaan.

Happoradio maakuntaseikkailulle keväällä

Laulaja Aki Tykin luotsaama, 2000-luvun menestyneimpiin suomirock-yhtyeisiin lukeutuva Happoradio julkaisee alkuvuodesta uuden singlen ja lähtee sen myötä tien päälle maaliskuussa. Maakuntaseikkailu 2026 -nimeä kantava kiertue kattaa yhteensä 14 paikkakuntaa, joista pääosa on pienempiä kuntia ja klubeja.

”Soitimme syksyllä uramme yhden upeimmista kiertueista isojen kaupunkien hienoissa konserttisaleissa, joten nyt on aika palata taas maanpinnalle pienempien paikkakuntien klubeille lähelle ihmisiä\", Aki Tykki kertoo.

Kiertue saapuu Kauhavan Nuorisoseurantalolle lauantaina 11. huhtikuuta.

Aiempaa kokemusta telkänpöntön rakentamisesta ei tarvitse olla. Paikalla ovat avustamassa hankkeen vetäjä Risto Virtanen sekä paikallisten metsästys- ja eräseurojen edustajia.

Hyvinvointiviihdettä Alastaipaleella -luentosarjan kolmas ja viimeinen osa järjestetään lauantaina 14.3.2026. Luvassa on pitkän uran neurologian erikoislääkärinä tehneen Ritva Oikarisen kansantajuinen luento aiheesta Rapistuttaako nykyteknologia ihmisen? Ritva muutti viime vuonna Alastaipaleelle ja on omien sanojensa mukaan ”putkiajattelua vieroksuva oman tiensä kulkija”, joten odotettavissa on juurikin hyvinvointiviihdettä ja aiheesta pääsee myös keskustelemaan.

Päivässä mukana ovat paikallistoimintaa esittelemässä myös Eläkeliitto, Eläkkeensaajat ja Ähtärin Seniorit ry. Kahvia ja purtavaa on tarjolla klo 12 alkaen ja luento alkaa klo 13..

Paikalla on myös koulutettu hieroja / jalkahoitaja Kaisa Kankaanpää Hyvinvointipalvelut Pihlajasta ja häneltä voi varata 45 minuutin hieronta- tai jalkahoitoajan kyseiselle päivälle. Voit jo varata ajan suoraan Kaisalta numerosta 0404132994, valittavissa on aikaväli noin klo 9-14. 45min hoito maksaa 45 euroa, joka maksetaan hoidon yhteydessä Kaisalle (käteinen, kortti, MobilePay).
