Yhtye soittaa sielunmaisemia Karjalan tanssimailta: se tulkitsee ja tunnelmoi musiikkia Kivimäen uudelta Ilja-albumilta. </span>\r\n\r\nIlja-albumi päättää Kivimäen luoman Suistamo- konsertti- ja levysarjan. Samalla Kivimäki jättää jäähyväiset Suistamo-työn tutkimuksen kohteelle, karjalaiselle tarinankertoja, haitarinsoittaja Ilja Kotikalliolle (1894–1961), joka vietti osan elämästään Etelä-Pohjanmaalla, Lapualla. Suistamo-sarja oli osa Kivimäen Taideyliopiston Sibelius-Akatemiaan suorittamaa tohtorintutkintoa, jossa hän tutki 1900-luvun alun rajakarjalaista musiikkielämää ja loi musiikkia Ilja Kotikallion tarinoiden siivittämänä.\r\n\r\n<span style=\"display: inline !important;\">Anne-Mari Kivimäki on Tampereella asuva freelance-muusikko, säveltäjä ja sanoittaja. Hän on kehittänyt venäläisen Notka-haitarin ympärille yhtyeitä ja monitaiteellisia soivia taideteoksia ja luonut oman soittotyylin, nykykarjalaisen haitari-trancen.
