Näyttelyssä on esillä kaksi valokuvateosta taimi-aiheisesta sarjasta: Kuusi ja Mänty. Teosten lähtökohtana on muuttuvan maailman, luonnosta vieraantumisen ja ilmastonmuutoksen teemat. Ne ovat syntyneet huolesta luonnon tilaan ja tulevaisuuteen.

Katri Yli-Erkkilä avaa työskentelyään: \"Olen kuvataiteilija ja työskentelen valokuvataiteen parissa. Teoksissani usein toistuvana teemana on vieraantuminen ja sen eri muodot. Vieraantuminen itsestämme, toisista ihmisistä, yhteiskunnasta ja luonnosta. \"

The exhibition explores the hiding places of animals and people. Animals might have a camouflage to help them to hide from predators. People could have a some kind of hiding place to catch one’s breath in the middle of busy weekdays. The works are sculpture and mixed media paintings.
