"fi": "<p>Farming on värikäs ja energinen näyttely, joka koostuu videoinstaallaatioista, äänestä ja performatiivisuudesta. Näyttely luo humoristisen zoomorfisen maailman pyrkiessään määrittelemään ihmiseläimen. Jokainen teos perustuu maatiloilla näkemiimme eläimiin ja inspiroituu niistä. Hauskat ihmis-lampaat, dynaamiset lintuihmiset, runolliset kalahahmot ja jättikokoisena möyrivä matomies muodostavat näyttelyn visuaaliset kuvaston. Teoksista nousee useita kysymyksiä esimerkiksi hyvää elämään, identiteettiin, sukupuolen käsitteeseen ja erilaisiin sosiaalisiin normeihin liittyen. Kokonaisuutena Farming peilaa yhteiskunnan sosiaalisia rakennelmia muina eläiminä esiintyvien ihmisten kautta.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Noelia Mora Solvez (s. 1975) on espanjalaissyntyinen pitkään Århusissa Tanskassa asunut ja työskennellyt taiteilija, joka työskentelee videotaiteen ja performanssin keinoin. Hän on valmistunut Århusin taideakatemiasta ja pitänyt yksityisnäyttelyitä Tanskassa ja Norjassa. Hänen teoksiaan on hankittu AROS taidemuseon sekä KØN sukupuolten museon kokoelmiin. Farming-näyttely on aiemmin nähty Gallery Snerk’ssa, Den Hå Prestehall’ssa sekä Kunsthal Ulys’ssa.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Seinäjoen taidehalli on tutkinut Kalevan Navetan ensimmäisten vuosien aikanaan eläinten merkitystä nykytaiteessa ja yhteiskunnassa inspiroituen urban-rural-kontekstista ja ympäröivästä maaseudusta. Farming -näyttely on tämän nk. eläintrilogian kolmas ja viimeinen osa. Aiemmat näyttelyt olivat <a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/millaista-on-olla-elain/\">Millaista on olla eläin? –ryhmänäyttely</a> perustuen Helena Telkänrannan tietokirjaan syksyllä 2020 ja <a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/gustafssonhaapoja-siat-pigs/\">Gustafsson & Haapojan Siat – Pigs</a> loppuvuonna 2021.</p>\n<p></p>\n",

"en": "<p>‘Farming’ is a colourful and energetic exhibition consisting of video installations, sound and performance. The exhibition creates a humorous zoomorphic world in its quest to define the human animal. Each work is based on and inspired by animals we see on farms. Amuzing human-sheep, dynamic bird-people, poetic fish figures and a giant worm-man make up the visual imagery of the exhibition. The works raise several questions related to, for example, a good life, identity, the concept of gender and various social norms. As a whole, ‘Farming’ reflects the social structures of society through people presented as other animals.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Noelia Mora Solvez (b. 1975) is a Spanish-born, video- and performance artist who has been living and working in Aarhus, Denmark, for a long time. Her practice focuses on her interest in society and its structures, norms and regulations. She is a graduate of the Aarhus Art Academy and has had solo exhibitions in Denmark and Norway. Her works have been acquired for the collections of AROS Art Museum and KØN Gender Museum. The ‘Farming’ exhibition has previously been on display at Gallery Snerk, Den Hå Prestehall and Kunsthal Ulys.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>During the first years in Kalevan Navetta, the Kunsthalle Seinäjoki explored the roles and relevance of animals in contemporary art and society inspired by the urban-rural context and the surrounding countryside. The ‘Farming’ exhibition is the third and final part of this animal trilogy. The previous exhibitions were <a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/en/whats-it-like-to-be-an-animal/\">‘What’s it like to be an animal?’</a>, a group exhibition based on Helena Telkänranta’s book in autumn 2020, and <a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/en/gustafssonhaapoja-pigs/\">Gustafsson & Haapoja Siat – Pigs</a> at the end of 2021.</p>\n<p></p>\n"
