Esseen tarina kertoo linturunkoisesta olennosta, joka rakastuu ihmispoikaan. Nora esittelee myös kirjoituksiaan, jotka tutkivat menetystä eroottisesti varautuneena tilana.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Runotapahtuma luotiin osana Noran taiteilijaresidenssioleskelua Vanhassa Paukussa. Luento on englanninkielinen, ja työpajassa on kääntäjä paikalla.</p>\n<p>______</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>Tietoja taiteilijasta</strong></p>\n<p>Nora Kopp on näyttelijä, kirjailija ja teatterintekijä Saksan Harz-vuorilta. Hän valmistui näyttelijäntaiteen kandidaatiksi Contemporary Method Acting -koulutusohjelmassa Copenhagen International School of Performing Artsista (CISPA) kesällä 2023. Hänen työssään näytteleminen ja kirjoittaminen kietoutuvat usein toisiinsa ammentaen inspiraatiota mytologiasta, maalauksesta ja ihmisistä sekä käyttämällä hänen tunne- ja aistimuistiaan. Hän on Tanskan näytelmäkirjailijaliiton (Danske Dramatikere, DDF) ja Tanskan taiteilijaliiton (DAF) jäsen.</p>\n",

"en": "<p><em>‘When I desire you, a part of me is gone’ - Sappho</em></p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Join interdisciplinary actor and writer Nora Kopp (GER) at the Art and Cultural Centre Vanha Paukku for an open poetry workshop and a performance of short writings.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>As the pre-event for the <em>Virtaa!</em> <em>Poetry festival</em>, Nora guides us back to the ancient roots of poetry, where Eros — the Greek god of love — enchants and unsettles, loosening our limbs and stirring the depths of our being. </p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Afterwards, gather at Café Patruuna for an intimate Artist Talk. Nora will present an excerpt from her essay <em>\"I, Harpyia,\"</em> about a bird-bodied creature who falls for a human boy, and share writings that probe loss as an erotically charged space.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>The poetry event was curated as part of Nora’s 2024 residency at Vanha Paukku. She holds a BA in Contemporary Method Acting from Copenhagen International School of Performing Arts (CISPA), graduating in the summer of 2023. In her dramatic practice, acting and writing often intertwine, drawing inspiration from mythology, painting and people, as well as using her emotional and sense memory. She is a member of the Danish Playwrights Association (Danske Dramatikere, DDF) and the Danish Artist Union (DAF).</p>\n"
