"fi": "<p>Mariella Kerscher (s. 1991, Augsburg, DE) käsittelee taiteessaan olemassaolon perusteita, kuten alkuperää ja kehon, ekosysteemien ja teknosfäärin välistä yhteyttä.</p>\n<p>Hän työskentelee useiden ilmaisuvälineiden, kuten piirustuksen, maalauksen, keramiikan, videon ja installaation parissa, yhdistääkseen mahdollisimman erilaisia fragmentteja laajaksi, planetaariseksi kokonaisuudeksi.</p>\n<p>Hänen taiteellinen tutkimuksensa ammentaa tieteellisistä, teknologisista ja biologisista lähestymistavoista, joita hän yhdistää runolliseen ja rationaalisen ylittävään ilmaisuun murtaakseen patriarkaalisia kertomuksia synnistä ja kauneudesta.</p>\n<p>Mariella Kerscher asuu ja työskentelee Münchenissä ja on valmistunut Münchenin taideakatemiasta.</p>\n<p>Hänelle on myönnetty Kunstfonds-säätiön apuraha Neustart Kultur -stipendiohjelmasta (2022), ja hän on saanut Augsburgin piirin taidepalkinnon 'Nuoret lahjakkuudet' -kategoriassa (2023). "en": "<p>Mariella Kerscher (b. 1991, Augsburg, Germany) deals with existential themes such as our origin and the connection between the body, ecosystems, and the technosphere.</p>\n<p>She works with various media such as drawing, painting, ceramics, video, and installation to connect as diverse fragments as possible into a larger whole, into something planetary.</p>\n<p>Her artistic research pursues a scientific, technological, and often biological approach, which she combines with the poetic and sublime to break down patriarchal narratives about transgression and beauty.</p>\n<p>Mariella Kerscher lives and works in Munich and studied at the Academy of fine Arts Munich.</p>\n<p>In 2022, she was awarded a grant from the Neustart Kultur scholarship program of the Kunstfonds Foundation, and in 2023 she received an award in the “Young Talents” category of the Augsburg District Art Prize (three-dimensional). In 2025, she reached the preselection stage of the STRABAG Artawards International.
