Mathias Sandberg trio, Suomen ahkerin keikkaileva jazzyhtye, tekee kotimaisen jazzin juhlavuoden kunniaksi yli 50 konsertin kiertueen Suomessa, Tanskassa, Saksassa, Itävallassa, Tšekissä ja Slovakiassa.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Jazzkitaristi ja säveltäjä Mathias Sandberg, jota amerikkalaisessa musiikkilehdessä Jazziz Magazine on kutsuttu \"yhdeksi Suomen parhaiten varjelluista salaisuuksista\", kuuluu maamme aktiivisimpiin jazzmuusikoihin. Hän on opiskellut New Yorkin Manhattan School of Musicissa ja Bostonin Berklee College of Musicissa, ja työskennellyt mm. Georg Riedelin, Brian Charetten, Nick Mancinin, Peter Asplundin, Jukka Eskolan, Teppo Mäkysen ja Manuel Dunkelin kanssa.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Sandberg tekee vuosittain satakunta jazzkonserttia ja on kiertänyt sekä Euroopassa että Yhdysvalloissa. Mathias Sandbergin debyytti-soololevy The Doctor ja pitkään odotettu triolevy The Captain ovat saaneet ylistäviä arvosteluja molemmilla puolilla Atlanttia ja niitä on soitettu ahkerasti jazzradiokanavilla ympäri maailmaa.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Trionsa kanssa hän on kahtena viimeisimpinä vuosina tehnyt yli 100 konserttia Suomessa (Enontekiöltä Hankoon), Ruotsissa, Tanskassa, Saksassa, Itävallassa, Tšekissä, Slovakiassa, Virossa, Latviassa ja Liettuassa. To celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Jazz in Finland, Mathias Sandberg trio embarks on a massive 50 date tour through Finland, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Czechia and Slovakia.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>He has been called \"one of Finland's best kept secrets\", the highly acclaimed jazz guitarist and composer Mathias Sandberg is one of the hardest working musicians in the country. He studied at Manhattan School of Music in New York and Berklee College of Music in Boston and has worked with artists such as Brian Charette, Georg Riedel, Nick Mancini, Peter Asplund, and Manuel Dunkel. Sandberg plays a hundred concerts a year and has toured both Europe and the United States.&nbsp;</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Mathias Sandberg's debut solo album The Doctor and the highly anticipated follow-up The Captain, have received both huge critical reviews, and airplay on jazz radio stations in Europe, United States, South America, Asia and Australia.
