Talossa järjestetään samaan aikaan <a href=\"https://taideseinajoki.fi/ilmioidenyo/\">Ilmiöiden yö</a>-tapahtuma. Tapahtumaan on vapaa pääsy kaikille. Voit tulla yksin tai ystävien kanssa pidemmäksi aikaa, tai vaikka vain piipahtamaan hetkeksi. Lämpimästi tervetuloa!</p>\n<h3>Uusi näyttely</h3>\n<p><strong>J.P Köykän</strong> yksityisnäyttely <em>Muodon perintö</em> esittelee uusia suurikokoisia maalauksia, installaation ja videoita Seinäjoelle paluumuuttaneelta kuvataiteilijalta. Vintti-tila toiminut J.P Köykälle teosten lähtökohtana. <em>Muodon perintö</em> -näyttelyssä raja maalauksen ja tilan arkkitehtuurin välillä hämärtyy. Köykkä tutkii teoksissaan sitä, mistä hänen visuaalinen perintönsä koostuu. Maalaus voi periä menneisyyden muodon.</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://jpkoykka.wordpress.com/\">J.P Köykkä</a> (s. 1987) asuu ja työskentelee Seinäjoella. Hän on valmistunut kuvataiteilijaksi Tampereen ammattikorkeakoulusta. Köykän teoksia on Valtion taideteostoimikunnan kokoelmissa, Kansallisgalleriassa ja Tampereen taidemuseon kokoelmissa.</p>\n<h3>Ohjelma</h3>\n<h4>Klo 17–21.30 Taidehallin tarratyöpaja</h4>\n<p><strong>Pedatila Itikka, 2.krs<br> </strong>Omatoimisessa tarratyöpajassa voit suunnitella ja tehdä oman tarran. Voit hakea inspiraatiota juuri avatusta J.P Köykän Muodon perintö -näyttelystä tai suunnitella itsellesi juuri sellaisen tarran mitä haluat. Voit myös jättää tarramuotoisen vieraskirjatervehdyksesi kollektiiviseen näyttelyvieraskirjaan</p>\n<h4>Klo 18.30–19 Näyttelyavajaisten taiteilijahaastattelu: JP Köykkä</h4>\n<p><strong>Hugo-sali, 2. krs<br> </strong>Seinäjoen taidehallin kuraattori (ts.) Laura Laukkanen haastattelee Muodon perintö -näyttelyn taiteilijaa JP Köykkää.</p>\n<h4>Klo 19–19.30 Heikki Hautala</h4>\n<p><strong>Näyttelytila Vintti, 3. krs</strong><br> Heikki Hautala on laulaja-lauluntekijä sekä kitaristi, joka tunnetaan yhteiskunnallisesti kantaa ottavista sanoituksistaan sekä rockin, punkin ja folkin vaikutteita yhdistelevästä musiikistaan. Hänet tunnetaan erityisesti Sokea piste -yhtyeestä ja soolotuotannostaan. Hautala on myös ammatiltaan kuvataiteilija.</p>\n<h3>Mitä odotettavissa</h3>\n<p>Taidehallin avajaiset ovat kaikille avoimia, maksuttomia ja kaikenikäisille sopivia tapahtumia. Voit tulla paikalle matalalla kynnyksellä eli et tarvitse ennakkotietoa taiteesta. Rakennuksen pääovi sijaitsee Kalevan Navetan ja Itikanmäen asuintalojen välisen sisäpihan puolella. Kävellen ja pyörällä pääset Kalevan Navetalle Vaasantien kautta tai Pohjan valtatien ylittävää Lakeuden aamunkoi -siltaa pitkin.</p>\n<p>Kalevan Navetan ympärillä on noin 50 autopaikkaa asiakkaille. Ensimmäiset kaksi (2) tuntia on ilmaista automaatista saatavalla lipukkeella tai parkkisovelluksella, ja seuraavat tunnit maksavat 1 €/h. Lähin yleinen pysäköintialue sijaitsee Maakunnankadulla noin 700 metrin päässä rakennuksesta. "en": "<p></p>\n<p>The opening event of the exhibition<a href=\"https://www.seinajoentaidehalli.fi/en/j-p-koykka-forms-of-heritage/\"><em> Forms Of Heritage</em></a> will be held on Friday, September 4rd, 2026, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Vintti exhibition space. At the same time,<a href=\"https://taideseinajoki.fi/ilmioidenyo/\"> Ilmiöiden yö</a> (the Phenomena of the Night) city-wide culture event will be taking place at the culture centre. Admission to the event is free for everyone. You can arrive alone, with friends, or with family, and stay as long (or as little) as you like.</p>\n<h3>New Exhibition</h3>\n<p><strong>J.P Köykkä</strong>’s solo exhibition <em>Forms of Heritage</em> presents new large-scale paintings, video works and installations by Seinäjoki based artist. The past is a heritage that is transformed into forms of painting. In his works, JP Köykkä explores what his legacy consists of. What is the local visual heritage of Seinäjoki? Köykkä’s work is influenced by history of abstract painting and the region’s history of graffiti art. The forms are unrestrained, they spring from the street but find their home almost anywhere.</p>\n<p><a href=\"https://jpkoykka.wordpress.com/\">J.P Köykkä</a> (b. 1987) lives and works in Seinäjoki, Finland. He holds a BA degree from Tampere University of Applied Sciences in Visual Arts. His works are included in collections such as Finnish National Gallery, State Art Deposit Collection and Tampere Art Museum.</p>\n<h3>Program</h3>\n<h4>5:00–9:30 p.m. Sticker Workshop</h4>\n<p>Pedatila Itikka, 2nd floor<br>In this self-guided sticker workshop, you can design and make your own sticker. You can draw inspiration from the recently opened J.P. Köykkä exhibition “Forms of Heritage” or design a sticker exactly the way you want it. He is best known for the band Sokea piste and his solo work. Hautala is also a visual artist by profession.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>What to expect</strong></p>\n<p></p>\n<p>Our exhibition openings are informal, inclusive, and suitable for all ages.You don’t need any background in art just curiosity. You can explore contemporary art in a relaxed setting, meet artists and hear the stories behind the works, join a workshop or simply enjoy the atmosphere. Whether you stay for a while or the whole evening, you are very welcome.</p>\n<p></p>\n<h3>Arrival at Kalevan Navetta</h3>\n<p>Address: Nyykoolinkatu 25, 60100 Seinäjoki. Seinäjoki is an easy day-trip destination in Western Finland, about 1 hour by train from Tampere and 3 hours from Helsinki.</p>\n<p>The main entrance is located in the inner courtyard between Kalevan Navetta and nearby residential buildings. Walking and cycling routes lead directly to the venue. From the Seinäjoki train station 15 minutes walk. If you travel by car: around 50 parking spaces are available nearby. First 2 hours free, then €1/hour. Additional parking is available about a 10-minute walk away (Maakunnankatu area). On busy event days, we recommend arriving on foot or by bike if possible.</p>\n"
